CHAPTER TWENTY

I wasn’t going to hold back anymore I dragged my suitcase in search of Andrew. I kept looking around the airport my eyes scanning every face until one caught my attention.

A shy smile appeared on my face, as I stared at him.

He looked so heartbroken and defeated. I slowly made my way to him my heart thumping wildly in my chest, as I got closer to him. My nerves increased.

I took a deep breath and stared at Andrew he was so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t even notice me.

ANDREW POV

A pair of navy sneakers were standing in front of me they looked so familiar it couldn’t be what I was thinking. My gaze moved upwards and I saw her smiling at me I couldn’t believe it.

‘’Tara?’’ I choked out still staring at her in utter shock.

I stood up my eyes never left hers. She moistened her lips nervously.

''Do you love me? She asked shyly staring at the floor.

I lifted her by the chin and our eyes intensely met I gently placed her hand on my chest.

‘’I do love you Tara and I think my heart agrees to that’’ I said in a seductive tone and Tara’s cheeks turn a baby pink.

I smile inwardly.

''Andrew is sorry for not ever giving you a chance to explain yourself… she softly said. And I know going to Italy was such a drastic choice I made with a hothead. I must have put you in a lot of pressure and if you're mad at me I understand-

I crushed my lips on hers silencing her. I took her fully in my arms to deepen our kiss.

A moment later I pulled back regaining my breath staring into her grey penetrating eyes a small smile formed on her lips.

‘’I love you and only you Tara I whisper and she blushes.

‘’I love you more Andrew Jameson’’ she says shyly.

I got on one knee taking her by surprise she gasped in shock when I pulled a black velvet box out of my pocket.

Once opened it revealed an emerald dazzling ring with diamonds around it.

‘’Tara Watson, before I pop the big question I first want to say something.''

I cleared my throat nervously and looked into her beautiful eyes.

''I never knew the definition of true love until I met you, Tara, it wasn't easy to reach this stage.'' We were both broken and damaged, but when we met we healed each other.

''At some point, I thought I'd never find love again, but when I met you Tara you changed my world.'' I will love and cherish you forever I want to be only with you.

‘’Tara will you be my friend, my best friend, my girlfriend, my fiancée, and the mother of my children?

She eagerly nodded and burst into tears of joy, as I slide the ring on her finger.

The public cheered as I took her my arms hugging her tightly. This wonderful woman was mine.

EPILOGUE

Five years later Tara and I were celebrating our anniversary only friends and family were invited. I had reconnected with my family in Miami. And Tara got the opportunity to meet her birth parents it was an emotional day for both of us.

We were parents of triplet's two girls and one boy, they were aged five. We decided to name them Esme, Tayva, and Ryan.

We sat in the back yard watching our kids play and having fun.

I wrap my arm around Tara’s waist and caressing her swollen pregnant belly and the baby eagerly kicks.

I smile and peck her lips.

When I pull back and grin.

‘’Are you happy? I ask her lazily.

‘’Am happy with everything we have’’ she says sweetly.

‘’Tara darling I couldn’t agree more I love you so much’’ I whisper. And capture her lips in a slow passionate kiss.

Gross!'' mommy and daddy kissing! The kid's shout and Tara and I burst out laughing.

The course of love never did run smoothly we all have ups and downs.

Am not perfect either am just a teenager exploring the different aspects of what the world has to offer me.

Let's put our insecurities away and live life to the fullest because we only get one opportunity to live it.
