CHAPTER 23

After Lucifer left Dawn turned around to look at her room. Everything was same like her hostel room same curtains, same photos, everything was same except for Ryan’s and her memories.

Everything about Ryan and her was gone.

Only a heart shaped pillow was there which he gave her back then.

Dawn eyes were filled with tears as she takeout the ring in her purse.

That ring was given by Ryan when he proposed her. After that time everything was changed.

She held the ring in her hand whereas tears were still flowing down her beautiful eyes.

After a long time, she opened the ring and saw Ryan’s and her pic in it.

This made Dawn even more sad.

She said with her eyes filled with tears and sorrow, “Ryan, this is the only thing left with me now.

You gave me this ring and I’ll always keep it close to my heart, no one will be able to take this from me.

I promise, I’ll soon get out of this prison…for you, for us…”

After resting for few hours, she was feeling fresh.

She got out of the bed and soon started her work.

The main work for now was to connect with Ryan in order to start her job here.

She immediately took out the makeup box that Ryan has given to her which was basically a transmission device.

She just had to assemble the makeup items which she had learned already during her training.

She picked up a brush which act as ‘antenna’ and placed it over the eye makeup box, then she took out the lipstick which works as ‘USB’ and attached it in the hidden ‘USB Port’ in the eye makeup box.

She just needs to push the lipstick i.e. USB in order to activate it.

Last step was to put another makeup brush in between the makeup antenna and USB Port.

After all these steps, she opened the lid of the eye makeup box and clicked a hidden switch over there.

A right light started blinking that means the device has starting searching for signal.

But soon the light stopped blinking.

Dawn was shocked why it’s not working.

Dawn asked herself in disdain “Everything is done accordingly then what happened?

Maybe it’s network issue here, I have to go outside.”

Lucifer was busy in his work, for Dawn it was a good time to check the device.

Also, she has to examine this whole place in order to collect evidences against Lucifer.

She got up and walked out of her room.

As she walked out of her room, she started walking in the corridor finding signal. Suddenly her eyes fell on the paintings on the wall.

The painting on the wall were very beautiful, seems to contain some deep meaning in them.

Dawn was especially very fond of paintings; she also likes painting very much.

Previously when she was at hostel she was use to paint in her free time.

Watching those paintings Dawn was mesmerized and was little lost.  She totally forgot her purpose of coming out of room.

Her all attention was towards those paintings as she was walking and watching those paintings at same time.

Suddenly she bumped with someone.

She immediately reacted, “Sorry…”

As she turned around, only to look at that

person who was David.

She silently hid her device in her side purse.

Seeing her backing away, David smiled evilly and pulled her closer, “It’s ok babe.

Now, you are living in same house as mine it’s very normal to bump like this.”

Dawn pushed him away in an instant.

“Stay away from me. Don’t you dare to come near me.”

David raised his eyebrow as he commented,

“close!

Ha-ha may be one day I ‘ll sleep next to you.

Who knows what ‘s coming?”

“Shut your mouth or I will break it.

Your cheap words are irritating me to the hell.

People like you never change even after so much insult.”

David got furious listening her words he pointed his finger to her, “You…”

Before he could speak anything, Dawn left without looking at him.

David was so angered by her attitude.

How dare a normal woman like her, talk to him like this.

On the other hand, Dawn was frustrated but she tried to calm herself down… she can’t let a scumbag like him affect her mood, this will only ruin her mood and as a result it will slow down her work.

Dawn was still roaming around in the house but she could not find signal.

Servants of the house were passing by but no one paid her any attention. Everyone was busy in there works.

Suddenly she saw garden at the back side of house, “There must be signal there.”

She quickly walked towards the garden.

When she reached there, she looked around to confirm no one is watching her.

After confirming, she immediately pulled out her device and hid it in her small palms.

Then she checked for signal over there. As she was checking a voice rang behind her, “Dawn.”

Dawn got startled, she immediately put the device inside her purse, before the person reached there, without letting anyone notice it.

She paused for a second then turned around and saw servant standing in front of her.

“You have been called.” Servant told her rudely.

“By whom?” Dawn asked in surprise.

“just come with me.” Servant didn’t answer her question and said in cold tone.

Dawn was somewhat nervous,

“Did they find out something?

Were cameras installed in her room?

No, no…

Haven’t Lucifer busy in his work?

Why did they call her at this time?”

Dawn didn’t ask anything and just followed the servant.
