7- the deal

Simon"

When we're are back inside. We are both calm even though we still feel hesitant to act like it's OK. 

"Are you ok now?" Mr. Yantisco asks and we both nod. 

"Have you thought now Candy? Are you aware now how serious the situation is?"

the girl answered, "yes, dad." 

"I got what it means. Saving the whole world I mean company means throwing away my whole life and happiness. For life, see I got it." 

The girl sarcastically said, If we are in other situations I will surely laugh but right now I can't. Even though it's clear she is mocking her father. 

"Candy..." her dad talking now in a very low tone and pleading. 

"I'm sorry pumpkin I'm sorry... you know this is the only way to save the company, our employees, and ourselves." 

Candy sighs and visibly surrender already. 

"I'm sorry to dad I know I'm so aware of that. don't worry everything will be alright. I will be alright."

"ok thank you baby I will leave you two now so you can talk properly."

The old man looks at me and said

"Simon, please contact me if you two settle a date for your engagement." 

That's all and the guy left. 

and now the two of them have left it more awkward than earlier. 

After a long silence at last she breaks it by saying... 

"Can we make a true deal now Simon?" 

Candy said and it sounds sexy for him to hear that. for him to close his eyes for a while. 

"Simon for me to agree to this marriage is you to agree for all conditions I  will give."

He put his arms across his chest and said... "ok all ears pretty babe"

she instantly raises her eyebrow

"I think I'm not doing this for money or myself of course. I'm doing this for all employees of the company cause more of them are my friends."

"Maybe we don't have a choice than to make your father's wishes fulfill." 

"maybe he what a grandson so my number one condition is no sex policy. What am I, surrogate mother!"

she almost shouted. 

"hahaha of course no pretty babe"

She's thinking so much... But maybe my father is thinking that way because come to think of it. I'm a happy go lucky guy and I don't have a plan in life so maybe... 

father, is it that? 

that thought made me think deeply. 

"Simon, are you listening?" 

"yeah OK, we don't have to do that. If you say so then no, Unless of course if you change your mind."

I wink at her but I receive a hit in my head because of that. 

"what?" I said while laughing 

"That was your rule, not mine so if you change your mind I want you to know that's all."

she almost hit me again but I avoided it. 

"Why do you want to hit me?"

"Because you wouldn't make it serious!"

"I am planning to marry you, did I? So it's serious it's not only your life is in the stake, mine too.

"arrggghhhh..." 

"ok ok relax"

I said still laughing and she sighs but she proceeded anyway. 

"As your father testament declared, once we sign the contract the investigator will come to spy on us if we are truly a couple. So we have to act truly in love to do that of course we have to sleep in the same room. Act like a true husband and wife."

"aarrgghh why am I doing this again?"

Candy talking to herself 

I laughed again. 

"But you said no sex, right?" I ask

"Are you stupid I said we're only sleeping in the same room I'm not saying we're having sex you idiot perv?"

He wanted to laugh again because it's obvious she's so pissed and she's so cute and adorable when she is angry like that. 

"Are we all clear Simon?" 

"Yes of course! Can we plan an engagement date now?"

I excitedly said

"Why do I feel like you're up to something?"

Candy asks curiously, He laughed a little 

"And what I can be up to?"

"I don't know to you, how I'm supposed to know."

"You're just paranoid." 

"When do we need to sign up for a contract?" 

I asked to distract her from thinking much. 

"I think we need to know each other first before signing that thing, Simon."

"We are strangers, maybe at least we have to know each other first."

She has point I think so I suggest 

"what about having a date with me? or vacation what do you think?"

I was wistful for a moment that she agreed so I can have at least a beautiful moment with her. 

I don't know why I am thinking like this towards her. 

all I know for now is she is something. 

she's different from other girls I meet. 

There's something in her that makes me attracted. 

"Maybe that's a good idea."

"Do you have a place in mind where we can have that vacation that you're suggesting for?"

He instantly wants to jump in happiness when she says that but he controls his damn self cause maybe she back out if she saw how dumb a freak he will look like. So he chose to look calm and relaxed. 

he's acting like someone when it comes to her. 

Is it good or bad? 

"Maybe let's go to one of our beaches? What do you think?"

"wowww your family owns a beach? I love the beach!" 

she's happily saying that maybe that's a good idea after all. 

seeing her smiling like that makes him feel like him on the right track. 

everything is fine and alright. It feels like he is doing a good deed. 

Her smile is so addicting makes him feel relaxed and inside of him is happy too. 

"Can we set a date now? when?" 

"Sure why not."

"When do you like it?"

"tomorrow or the day after tomorrow it's up to you pretty babe."

"Hmm, maybe the day after tomorrow? Will it be OK?"

I follow your lead. 

"ok deal?" 

"deal!"
