Simon"

Holding her hand as we shake to close our deal feels like I'm holding cotton. Her soft skin lingered on me for a moment.

"Simon hey! are you OK?"

she instantly grabbed me back into reality

I smile and say "I'm ok"

"So I'm going to see you again? I guess from now on we have to be together often right?"

"I was thinking that too."

"how about let's go out tomorrow? just ramble and wandering around like friends"

She gives me a sweet smile and gives me a beautiful answer that makes me feel like heaven. 

"Why not, maybe I would buy some things I will need for our vacation."

"ok see you tomorrow!!"

we say in union and we laugh at the same. 

As candy stands up on the sofa to maybe go home already we both look over through the door when it suddenly bursts open. 

"hey, you motherfucker are you still alive!"

Jack shout out suddenly and almost make me jump in surprise 

"Hello baby Simon Jonah," said like a gay

"fuck you Jonah its doesn't suit you."

I say in a bored tone

"You look ok now Sy..."

eleza said and come close to me and give me a quick kiss

I was so shocked and instantly look at Candy 

"Hmm, My friends there are only my friends."

I wait for her reply but she looks 'n at wait.... kian? 

Is she looking at kian? 

I ignored and introduced her. 

"guys meet Candy, my fiance..." I announced 

Chase and Leo looked at each other 

"What!!!"

"I thought you are still mourning."

"You just got out for a couple of weeks to have some fresh air but then suddenly you already have a fiance?" 

Jonah asks in so much puzzled and so as my friends. 

"Why not before my father died he had already arranged our marriage and for the first time we met we fell in love with each other. like a clap of thunder struck you know" 

"boom like that!!" 

"you gotta be kidding me"

Jack said 

"I'm not asking you to believe it you fucker." 

"ok, relax dude let's celebrate if that is..."

I smile and said ok

I look at Candy but she said 

"I got to go to Simon, maybe I will meet your friends next time."

She tiptoes and gives me a kiss I was dumbstruck  that I can move a bit while my friends are scattered around my house one by one 

while saying different sentences

"I'm going to the kitchen"

"I gonna get some food"

"I arranged the table"

..... and so on 

we may be starting acting already now right? so that's why she kissed me. 

Candy's already got outside once I move my body I go after her immediately. 

But I stop when I hear a commotion 

"Tell me the truth Candy, what are you up to?" 

"get off me Kian!" 

"Simon is my friend. I won't allow you to use my friend against me."

I see Candy holding back her chuckle is visible in her eyes that she want to laugh 

"Are you thinking that I am not over you Kian? Well, news flash me! Who do you think you are? To be not forgotten?" 

"you're lying. Do you think that I would believe it? you're not up to something? leave Simon his too good for you."

"hahaha, and who are you to command me? last time I checked you cheated on me and made a relationship over because of that." 

"you're not worthy of my tears, kian. I tell you this. You're the one who needs to leave me alone."

"and Simon is too good for me, yes but I think I deserve him after I meet a jerk like you."

Kian chuckled and said "his much worse than me. but still, I don't want you to be with him."

"fuck you! kian you leave alone Jerk!" 

"no not until telling me you would leave Simon!"

I can't take it anymore so I come close and punch Kian in his face. Makes him release his grip into Candy's hand. 

"fuck whatta!"

Kian cursed and look at me with so much anger 

"I won't allow you to hurt my fiance even though we're friends. I won't tolerate that." 

"Simon... look this girl is fuck..." 

Kian doesn't finish his sentence cause I hit him again. 

"Stop cursing my girl fuck you!" 

"Dude listen she's my ex-girlfriend and I know he's after you because of me." 

"Get over yourself Kian it's not all about you always."

"Accept that Candy and I are already engaged. She's my fiance, my girl and we're in love." 

"And you? you're already her past." 

"By the way, it's your fault anyway why you ended up like that. So back off cause this girl is mine." 

I grab Candy's hand. 

Kian hurriedly walks out of my house. 

And I hold Candy and hug her cause she is crying. 

"shush.. pretty babe don't worry everything's gonna be alright." 

She pulled closer to me and I hugged her more. 

I kiss her head

"I'm sorry I got you into this. I just don't know that kian is your friend. I swear to god I don't know."

"shush... it is ok." 

"Thank you for saving me and acting like my true fiance..." 

I laugh 

"Silly... I'm truly your fiance."

"What I mean is your acting like you're truly in love with me just to save me from more embarrassment for that thank you so much." 

I just nodded but deep down inside of me thinking why did I act that way?

Why inside of me feel more urged to be her savior and even my friend I punch for her. 

Why do I feel like beating kian from the time I saw him grabbing her hand? 

And why I feel I want to see her laughing instead of crying like now. 

I don't wanna see her cry for the very first time in my life since my mother's gone. I care. 

I care. 

She's destroying my rules.
