CHAPTER 23 "Dating Assistant"

A woman with brown long hair and black eyes. Name is Briana, daughter of a marquess. Walked the hallway, until it was seen continuously by the servants and guards. Briana family is a famous family of marquees and has a history within the empire. Her parents love her so much, because she is they only daughter.

Briana becomes the heir of a future marquess title, as she is the only child of her family. It was very rare for a woman to become the heir of a family, usually a noble woman would marry a man with a higher status than her. 

The Briana family is different from the others. They want the best for her, Briana wants to be a marquess because she is amazed by her father. Until that day finally came, when the empire was still ruled by the previous emperor. 

The emperor executed her parents for poisoning the emperor. Briana's heart was very broken, she wanted to get rid of this feeling by killing this painful feeling. 

Briana refuses to become the family heir and becomes a spy for the empire. She became a great person, Briana also became Heolstor's right hand when he was a prince. Briana discovers that the previous emperor wanted to destroy the empire.

Heolstor quickly killed his own father with both hands, became the next emperor at the age of 19 and restore the empire. Briana has contributed to the empire, until finally she came out of the imperial spy and finally disappeared without a trace or existence. 

Several years later, she heard that Heolstor had married a royal princess. Briana wanted to see her, until she finally heard of a job opening for the assistant empress. 

Quickly, Briana join the test and eventually became assistant empress. Her new life, does not want to remember the past and continues to move forward, namely the future. Now she opened the door to see the future she had been waiting for. 

"Greetings, Sir Arthur."

"Are you here looking for Empress Cecilia?"

"Yes, she has not returned from the emperor's office. So I picked her up."

While opening the door, Cecilia heads towards them and makes them go to the harvest festival. Briana refuses but Cecilia begs and makes her unable to refuse. Finally Cecilia got them out of the door and was prevented from returning until the vacation was over.

"What do we do next?"

"We have to take a vacation as Cecilia said. I'll wait at the gate tomorrow, see you Sir Arthur."

"Ah, Yes."

Briana left Arthur and went to her room. In the palace there was the residence of the servants and knights. Briana hides her identity as a marquess princess, she didn't want to be the center of attention. 

The next day, Briana waits for Arthur at the back gate of the palace. She wore ordinary clothes and a hooded robe. Briana continues to wait for him, finally Arthur appeared in his formal clothes. Briana just looked at him and asked Arthur. 

"What are you wearing?"

"The clothes I often wear."

"We're going to a festival not a meeting with the nobles. Let's change your clothes, take me to your room."

Arthur's room is in the palace of the emperor and empress. Due to his work as assistant the emperor, Arthur was forced to stay there. To keep watching Heolstor work.

I entered his room, his room was bigger than mine. Of course, he was the count of the Harrison family. The right hand of the empire from generation to generation.

He showed me a wardrobe that was as big as mine. I didn't comment, then looked for clothes that fit for him. There were so many clothes, I was confused to choose. I finally took the clothes quickly and gave them to him. 

Briana waits in the room while Arthur is wearing his clothes at the changing room. Soon Arthur came out of the changing room, dressed simply like a country folk. Briana looked at him blushing and finally set off in a horse carriage. 

Briana just stared outside, Arthur as if he wanted to start a conversation. But it looks like he's confused and things are getting really awkward. 

"What is it ?, if there is something you want to ask. Just ask, I will not hesitate to answer it."

"About that, why do you want to go with me at the harvest festival?"

"You forgot?, I want to occupy my promise to date with you."

"Ah, I didn't know that you wanted to date ...."

When Arthur wanted to continue speaking. They had arrived at the capital, everyone was preparing for the festival. Before starting, Arthur and Briana order a room at an inn. Unfortunately the rooms were fully booked and the remaining room was only one room with two people.

Briana and Arthur have no other choice. Finally they were forced to sleep in one room. They entered the room, it was very big. Even though they only booked a regular room, the innkeeper gave them a large room as an apology. 

"The festival will start tonight, we better rest to recover our strength."

After Briana said that, she sat on the sofa and looked at a book beside her. She took the book and then read the book. Meanwhile, Arthur felt awkward to sit on the sofa and finally sat beside her feeling doubtful. 

They were just silent, Briana only focused on the book she was reading. While Arthur stared at the floor in silence. 

"you feel bored with me huh?"

"Ah, No..No."

Briana closed her book then brought herself closer to Arthur. Arthur felt awkward, he away from Briana and finally fell off the sofa. Briana chuckled at Arthur's behavior, they finally spoke normally until the festival started.

The festival starts with fireworks. Arthur looked at Briana who was looking at the fireworks. Arthur dared to hold her hand, Briana just blushed and finally continued looking at the fireworks.

Fireworks continue to be launched, small markets were opened. They sell food, toys, and small games to enliven the festival. 

The festival was very lively by the capital. Heolstor and Cecilia only watched the fireworks from their room. Meanwhile, Arthur and Briana holding each other's hands. Directly enjoyed the festival and enjoyed their holiday.
