CHAPTER 3 "First Night"

Today is Cecilia and Heolstor's wedding. All important people came to witness. Who would have thought that the Demon Lord married a beautiful woman from the next kingdom. Everyone would want to know who had made the Emperor captivated by her.

"Cecilia, want to dance?"

I was surprised when I heard his words and saw his face. I screamed and asked him to put me down. Heolstor held me up like a bride and took me away from the banquet.

"What are you doing?, Everyone is looking at us."

Heolstor didn't listen to Cecilia word. Heolstor took Cecilia to an empty room and threw her on the bed.

"What are you doing?"

Heolstor drew closer to Cecilia.

"Wait, Your Majesty..."

"Not like usual."

Heolstor whispered in my ear and I fell silent for an instant.

"What do you mean?."

"Princess Cecilia, today you are acting strange. I don't like seeing it".

"Sorry, I made you worry."

he worried about me?. Why is this man worried about me? Is this because of a side effect of the contract?. This guy always makes me wonder sometimes.

"Have a safe journey to your destination, Cecilia."

Today I'm leaving the kingdom. Father and mother come to palace gate to see me and say goodbye. I want to be with them a little longer. But, if they smile happily. That's all enough for me.

Cecilia looked at Heolstor and say.

Cecilia's gaze left me speechless. Is this who she really is?. What a beautiful gaze. A face that makes everyone fall in love. Is this the woman who became my wife?. I give Cecilia smile and say.

When we arrived at the royal capital. I saw the horse carriage window. Crowded people who stood up and seemed to be cheering. Who are they welcoming?. 

"Your Majesty?"

"What wrong?."

I pointed at the crowd. Heolstor saw it and said with a warm smile.

"The people are welcoming their Empress."

"Empress?, who?." Cecilia with confused face.

"Yourself."

I am Empress? I am not The Empress yet.

"We have arrived."

Heolstor unloaded Cecilia from the horse carriage. As Cecilia came down the crowd cheered on her.

"Empress Cecilia!"

"Empress Cecilia!"

"Welcome to our Empire!"

"Empress Cecilia, you are very beautiful."

The sound of the people cheering made my ears hurt. Even when entering the palace. The cheers outside still sounded in my ears.

"Why do they call me Empress?, I'm not The Empress yet."

"You will be the Empress of this Empire. Welcome, Cecilia Erebus Gausberto."

I will be the Empress of this country and forever one will be the wife of the vicious Demon Lord of the Empire.

"See you tonight, Cecilia."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

After Heolstor left me, I looked around. The palace is so big, I can't see the end of it. Looks like I have to go around the palace. Wait, Heolstor said tonight?. Later that night, where do you mean?.

The Emperor's and The Empress's Room

So, this is what tonight means.

"What's wrong, Princess Cecilia?"

"Nothing, Your Majesty."

Everything looks awkward. He is wearing a nightgown. This is the first time seeing him wearing a nightgown. Because I always see him wearing formal clothes. I can stare on him because wearing a nightgown.

"Cecilia, I was wondering."

"What is it?, Your Majesty."

"Why did you cover yourself with a blanket?"

Why is he asking about it ?. An insignificant question. What should I tell him?. 

"Because I'm wearing a nightgown. Even though we're married, it's not polite."

"Hm, strange reason. But you covered yourself with that blanket for something else, right?."

This guy, why say such a thing?. 

"Or you want to try it."

"What do you mean try it?."

My face turned red. I pulled the blanket and covered myself apart from my face.

"Never mind, I want to sleep."

A while later, Heolstor had not fallen asleep and continued to look at Cecilia from behind.

She fell asleep quickly. Is it because she was tired?. Cecilia shifted she sleeping position towards me. Her body, which is still covered by a blanket, makes me laugh. How long has it been since I felt this feeling?. I looked at Cecilia's face. I approached her and whispered.

"Good night, Cecilia."

Sunlight shone on their window blinds. Cecilia, who was sleeping, felt something strange. 

"Hmm, what is this?"

"Princess Cecilia?"

When I heard my name, I opened my eyes and found that I was hugging Heolstor

"Your Majesty?!"

I hugged Heolstor. I hugged him like a pillow. Why didn't I realize?. How long have I held her?

"What's wrong?, The food is not good?"

"..."

Heolstor stopped eating and tell the servant to call the head chef. Why did he call the head chef?. A few moments later, A head chef entered the dining room and saluted.

"What's the matter?, Your Majesty."

"My wife doesn't like the food you make."

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty."

"You will be kicked out of the palace."

"Your Majesty?....."

Because seeing things getting worse. I stopped Heolstor's and say that is not the head chef fault. I just confuses for a moment and forgot about the food. I tell him again to forgive the chef. He got up from his seat and left me. Finally everything was under control.

"All right, I have to go. See you later, Cecilia."

Cecilia sighed and looked at the head chef. The head chef must have been very surprised by what happened earlier. Cecilia came up to him and held out her hand. 

"Get up. You must be surprised because of this."

"Thank you, Empress Cecilia."

"I am not yet an Empress. Your food is very good. Therefore, I love the food you make."

The servant and The head chefs are fascinated with Cecilia. Like seeing a goddess. The goddess who descended from the sky. The Head Chef saluted and left Cecilia. The atmosphere and gaze fell on Cecilia. Cecilia ignored everything and continued her eating.

I have to be careful with my behavior and attitude. My life here will start today. I can definitely get through it all and live happily as planned.
