Good morning students , we would be starting the class with our assignments. You all should come out and present your assignment for us. That would be the assessment for the term.

No ma’am he was asking for my test books sorry for the unnecessary distraction. 

After the class silver was searching for Simon at the cafeteria but there was no trace of him anywhere. She asked his friends still nothing , she decided to ask Sam since they live in the same house.

  

Sam I’d like to talk you 

Sorry but I’m not interested.

  

Neither am I , I just wanna know the where about if your brother since my birthday last night .i have not been able to reach me 

    

Has he occurred to you that just maybe he does not want to talk to you.

I tried telling you that he is leaving today but you ignored me so there it is, you lovely friend as left for London already.

Maybe he did not want To spoil your day yesterday. My dad practically changed the plans yesterday morning.

They went home before t could not find him. They had left 

two to three hours ago. Sam called Simon to ask check if his number would go through and it did,

Yes our flight was delayed , we would be flying in an hour time.

After ending the call silver and Sam rushed down to the air port. Sam called Simon to confirm his where about .

  

Sam: Bro where are you 

Simon: I’m at the waiting room, why are you here

 

Sam: wanted to say good bye

Simon: that’s funny bro we already said our good byes, where are you now 

 Silver: I’m behind you 

 Simon froze 

Simon: what are you doing here.

Silver: why didn’t you tell me you were leaving. Why ( she started hitting ) 

Simon: I am sorry silver , I didn’t want to say good bye. 

Silver: And you think I want to say good bye, you are my friend and you know how important you are to me . You can not just leave without a word . 

Simon: I am sorry silver , I thought leaving with out good bye would hurt less.

Silver: you are wrong , it hurts more to leave with out saying a word . 

Flight attendant: 

Passengers of flight number 555 please board the plane. 

Simon: come here silver( gives her a hug) that’s my queue right there, I have to go

Silver: (crying) please do not go.

Simon: smiles let’s not say good bye, just give me a hug okay. I would call oh you immediately I get there.

Silver: Thank you for been there for me , stay safe okay. And remember that you promised that you’d try to come back during holidays.

Simon: okay , I am happy you reached out.   

Sam please bro take good care of her. 

 Sam: yes bro take care of yourself, I hate you man.(smiles) bye.

 Simon boarded the flight. 

    

Silver: I don’t feel like going to back to school, please can you take me home. I’d call my boss to take excuse. I just need some rest .

 

Sam: you can not afford to be this weak silver, you have a lots of battles ahead of you .I know I am not your friend and we started at a wrong foot, I am willing to change that. 

  

Silver: first thing first what do you mean by I have a lot of battles ahead of me, second thing we can’t start afresh because I hate you .

Sam :I over heard your conversation with Simon the day of the malpractice incident, which I really wanted to apologise for but you are not even giving me the chance to make it up to you.

Silver: I don’t want to know what you heard , but one thing is for sure ,we can not be friends and what ever is going on with me is my problem. Make sure you keep your tongue to yourself. Bye and thank you for the assist. 

   

Silver alighted from the car and went straight to her bedroom to rest. Uncle ant didn’t bother disturbing her because he understood how she felt. To her it might seem the world always ends up rejecting her. She always find herself alone. Burning in the flames of rejection.

Mr Antony: can I come in little one

Silver: yes uncle ant 

Mr Antony: Mr dear sorry I am coming back home real later. I had some work at the Simpsons house.

Silver: it’s alright uncle , I hope you had a nice day.

Mr Antony: I did , what about your day

Silver : it was fine

Mr Antony: I heard that Simon has traveled to London

Silver: yes bro Ant , I feel just like I felt when my parents left me. It feels like there’s an hole in my heart.

Mr Antony: do not forget that he’s not dead , he just went away

Silver : He’s going to be gone for 

five years bro and if he’s lucky he might get a job there after his studies and I might never see him again. Remember that I too would not be here forever.

Mr Antony: I understand how you feel my love , you just have to be strong. Make new friends and be happy. He is always there with you even if he is not present okay. 

Silver: I don’t really know okay.

Mr Antony: in due time it would all fall in place and everything would begin to make sense to you okay. 

Your aunt Louisa called me to today:

Silver : oh really, how is she and grand ma?

Mr Antony: she said grandma is a bit ill though

Silver: what’s wrong with her

Mr Antony: it’s just fever nothing more.

Silver: okay my regards to her the next time she calls, in the mean time I’m really hungry bro.

Mr Antony: I guess you haven’t eaten since morning.

Mr Antony: you’re in luck , I made dinner.
