You can't do epic shit with basic people.

"Don't you have a place called school to go to." I heard dad knock on my door and I sat up with sleepy eyes. I stared at the wall clock and my eyes widened. I had few minutes to be at school. I got up instantly and rushed to my bathroom to have a quick bath. My hair was really tangled so I did my usual rough double dutch braids.

I dressed up quickly and picked my bag. I didn't want to disturb Storm who was still asleep so I rushed out and went to the refrigerator to grab a granola bar.

"Here take this. I hate high school lunches, it's gross." Uncle Levi said handling me a paper bag. I threw it in my backpack and ran to dad's garage. I climbed on my new bike, fixed my helmet and drove out of the house.

I got to the school and parked it at the students parking lot and rushed into the school. The school was silent signalling lessons had begun.

"Slept in." I told the receptionist and she glared at me and gave me a pass.

"Last pass," she told me and I stuck out my tongue at her childishly and went to my locker. I collected my books and made my way to Literature class.

I opened the door and all eyes were on me. I glanced at Ginger who's eyes were down and I smirked at the empty seat next to him.

"Last session, I specifically warned you all about my hatred for tardiness during my class," the female teacher warned and I glared at her. Was she that dumb that she couldn't recognize I was new?

"I was not here last session." I reminded hee and flipped her off. She was to ugly to care about anyway.

"Detention after school," she gave me and I gritted my teeth in anger as my hand twitched. Who was she to do that?

I walked closer to her desk and blocked the students' view. I brought out my knife and pointed it towards her neck.

"I'm new here, call it off." I ordered and she glanced at me in fear but decided to cover it up with a fake mean look which wasn't working.

"I don't remember you being new," she replied and I let out a laugh only the both of us could hear. Dumb teachers like this weren't supposed to be employed.

"Of course, your pea sized brain could not remind you that I'm the new kid your boss warned you all about. I'm Harriet-Manners Nicholai and I am like a ticking bomb. One wrong move and BOOM!" I raised my voice and she flinched in fright, "I explode." I whispered and she nodded rigorously. Ha!

"I call it off," she said, her old crappy lips trembling and I smiled at her and caressed her hair slowly.

"Good," I told her, returning my knife, "say it louder." I told her and stood up going over to the seat next to Ginger, ignoring the looks of surprise on the students'faces.

"I call off your detention Miss Harriet," she said louder and I smirked at the confused stare of students and sat down with content.

Ginger and I ignored each other through out the two more classes we had together until it was time for lunch.

I went to my favorite part of the cafeteria chairs and brought out my paper bag of food.

I brought out four sandwiches and almost took a bite of one when I felt someone's presence. I looked up to find Ginger staring down at me with big blue eyes and hands behind his back.

"You came to insult me again right? Was yesterday not enough for you?" I asked and he looked down and sighed then looked at me with an intense gaze that made me bite my lower lip. Why was he staring at me that way?

"I wanted to apologize for what I said yesterday," he scratched the back of his neck with his free hand and the other handing me a single rose flower.

"The fuck is that in front of me?" I asked in pure disgust and he raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised I wasn't into flowers like he had thought.

"It's a peace offering. Girls love roses," he pointed and I sighed and collected it from him, not wanting to make him feel bad.

"Well I don't but I'll make an exception for you." I told him and he grinned goofily, making me to roll my eyes.

"Am I forgiven?" He asked and I chuckled and gave him a smile, trying to forget the hurtful words he said to me yesterday.

"You never said sorry." I reminded him and he smiled genuinely. Wonder what made him change his mind.

"I'm sorry Harriet," he told me and I nodded. The way he called my name made me feel things I wasn't supposed to feel.

"Call me Rage." I found myself saying and he nodded in confusion. I felt an urge to hear him call me Rage.

He sat down on the seat beside me and I offered him a sandwich in which he refused.

"Oh c'mon eat up Ginger you look so skinny." I complained and he shook his head and smiled again.

"I'm not hungry," he said and I gritted my teeth in frustration now.

"Eat up now." I ordered in a feral way and his eyes widened. He grabbed it and began to eat it slowly. Good.

"So what made you say those things to me yesterday?" I asked in curiousity and he took his time much to my dismay to chew his food before replying me.

"I didn't trust you, and you were a pain in the ass," he shrugged and I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Trust?" I asked and he rolled his eyes.

"Tess used to be my best friend. Then she had a crush on Todd and would always try to get his attention. She would sneak to the senior department to talk to him. Then she changed, joined Todd and Mason in bullying me," he shrugged and I gritted my teeth. That bitch!

"Loser Harriet and loser Callum sitting under a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g." I heard Tess's loud pitched voice and everyone in the cafeteria laughed. Well I thought maybe California would be different, with matured people too. Guess I was wrong.

"Real mature bitch. Though it would be so nice to kiss Callum!" I yelled back at her and leaned in slowly as my lips alighted on his cheek. My lips brushed against his cheek lightly. His skin felt soft and sent shivers down my nerves.

I smirked at her glare and glanced at Ginger to see a light blush on the tip of his ears. Whatever feeling I felt in me was going to be ignored for sure.

~~~~~~
"No I'm not riding that," he argued and I rolled my eyes at his fear.
"Are u scared of a Harley?" I asked and he bit his lower lip and looked away.
"Whatever." I told him and got down. We both held the bike as we walked to his secret hideout.
We got to the building and walked close to the gate. He opened it and I smiled at the scenery and sat on the stairs with him.
We both sat in silence, just observing mother nature until a question got into my mind and out of curiosity, I asked....
Oooh the cliffhanger..
Rage can be so funny at times
Tell me what you think about Tess
His words not mine."My crazy family wants to see you." I told him and he exhaled in fright and rubbed his shaking hands together. He looked really good in a white long sleeved shirt and jean. His hair covered with a black head warmer.He came in and froze. I glared at Uncle Levi who pointed the gun to him. He grinned in happiness, and lowered the gun."I heard you're taking my girl out on a little trip?" Dad asked and I rolled my eyes. Ginger flinched and nodded slowly.
    Life's a bitch. You've got to go out there and kick some asses off."Was it Todd that gave you the bruise on your eye the first time I saw you?" I asked him and he looked away from me. I had been dreading to know if it was Todd ever since he told me he was used to more pain. I needed to know if he was abused by someone else too, or only bullied by Todd."Yeah," he replied but I could tell he was lying. He changed his voice and became still. He avoided eye contact and blinked rapidly. His chest rose and fell in a fast pace. I knew it wasn't going to be easy for him to tell me, but I needed to know. I needed to be there for him."Liar." I drawled slowly and he shook his head and balled his fist. I was infuriating him so he would tell me out if frustration. I would do anything to get the truth from him."
    When everything is lonely, I can be my best friend."How did you..." I trailed off when he looked back at me and turned front, hugging his knees and playing with the water. I knew I was lying but I needed to cheer him up. He was better off not sad."How did you know?" I asked again after clearing my throat. I folded my arms and watched as Storm began to play with the plants."You're so noisy for a stalker. I could hear your footsteps and heavy breathing. Plus you don't need to act dumb, it's not required," he said and I rolled my eyes and sat close to him, hugging my knees too."So..." I trailed off and he glared at me. The swell on his eyes had reduced and the color was now a shade of purple. I smiled at the blue shirt he wore. We kind of matched."I told you to st
