"I'd like to see him first," dad said with his hands akimbo and I rolled my eyes at his style of being the strict father.

"He can be very shy." I whispered and dad gave me a questioning look. I sighed and went over to open the door, ignoring Aunt Lily's teasing whistle. Uncle Levi on the other hand was holding a shot gun in case he needed to shoot the guy. His words not mine.

"My crazy family wants to see you." I told him and he exhaled in fright and rubbed his shaking hands together. He looked really good in a white long sleeved shirt and jean. His hair covered with a black head warmer.

He came in and froze. I glared at Uncle Levi who pointed the gun to him. He grinned in happiness, and lowered the gun.

"I heard you're taking my girl out on a little trip?" Dad asked and I rolled my eyes. Ginger flinched and nodded slowly.

"Words," dad demanded and Ginger flinched again. Ugh can this day get any better.

"Y-yes s-s-sir." Ginger stuttered and I urged myself not to face palm my forehead. Dad nodded and stared at me, giving me the go ahead eyes and I grinned much to Uncle Levi's dismay. I picked my bag and dragged Ginger to dad's garage after snatching his keys. So yes, we were going to Ginger's dad's new house. However I convinced him to come with me was a secret only me and maybe Storm knew.

"Whoa." Ginger whispered and I grinned in pride as he checked out dad's Jeep wrangler.

"You got the rocks?" I asked him and he nodded. He opened his heavy bag and I examined the rocks in it.

"Good." I patted his shoulder and we got into the jeep.

"Are you sure we won't get caught, I don't wanna get into trouble," he said softly and I shook my head.

"It's either you're coming with me or I'm going alone. I can't let him get away with this." I told him and he sighed and ignited the car. I strapped my seatbelt on and he drove out of the garage.

I opened my bag and checked the thermos flask where my hot acid cider vinegar and pepper and hot lemon juice.

"What the hell is that?" Ginger asked and I grinned sinisterly.

"Nothing." I replied and kept it in bag. I had thick rope too. This should be fun. I zipped my bag up and closed my eyes as he drove fast.

The car stopped and I opened my eyes to see he stopped in a grassy area. I glanced at Ginger who's head was on the wheel muttering incoherent words.

"Why'd you stop?" I asked him and he looked up at me.

"We're here," he said and got down. I got down too and slammed the door shut.

"Leave your bag, we'll be back for it." I ordered as I wore the robbery mask we bought yesterday. He kept his bag back and put on his own. I threw my bag to him and we both sneaked into the forest.

"Why do you think his new house is secluded?" I asked.

"His new wife  is very rich and kinda famous, plus, no security at all. Guess she's famous, and dumb." He shrugged and I furrowed my eyebrows but kept on walking with him. We stopped in front of a two storey glass house.

We got passed the big oak tree and made our way to the back of the building.

"I don't think there would be time to rock this house." I whispered and he nodded. We opened the back door and got in. The wooden floor board was slippery and everything in here screamed wealth.

The house was surprisingly quiet and I smiled in satisfaction. We got in and made our way to the living room when we heard a laugh and the sound of a TV on.

There was a man sitting on the white sofa and watching TV with a bottle of Scotch. He had little brown hair and slightly wrinkled face.

"Is that him?" I asked Ginger who tensed up and nodded. I gritted my teeth and walked behind him slowly, putting on my knitted gloves. I took my knife out and at the count of three, I wrapped my arm around his neck and placed the knife in front of his face.

"Don't make a move." I whispered in his ear and he stiffened and stretched his hand to reach out to his phone.

"I said don't make a move you idiot." I screamed and shoved the knife through his shoulder. I grinned as he screamed out in pain and tried to fight me off but I held unto him really tight.

"Now stay still doofus, you don't wanna piss me off do you? I've got plenty in store for you." I whispered in his ear and he stayed still, breathing heavily.

"Bring the chair closer." I glanced at Ginger who had fear in his eyes but acted tough. He brought the chair closer and I smiled.

"You're gonna do me a favor. I want you to get up and seat down nice and gently like the old pig you are." I grinned and he nodded vigorously and got up. Since he was too tall for me, I made sure I pressed the knife to his back. He sat down and I smiled as he faced me. I tied his legs really tight and tied each of his wrist to the handles of the chair. Then I tied a small piece of rope to his neck and he looked at me like I was sick.

"You have been a very bad man you know that?" I asked and he nodded, sweat dripping from his forehead. I removed the robbery mask and he looked at me in anger.

"You little child, you think this is some joke. Get me out of this damn chair or I swear to God I'll make you pay dearly for this," he seethed and I laughed and smiled at him sadly.

"Too bad you don't know who I am." I flicked his forehead in a playful manner and shook my head.

"Who are you?" he asked with challenging eyes and I raised an eyebrow at Ginger who nodded. I suddenly missed Storm. I haven't been giving him my full attention.

"You might have heard of the kid serial killer, Harriet-Manners Nicholai."  I answered and his eyes widened in recognition and fear.

Life's a bitch. You've got to go out there and kick some asses off."Was it Todd that gave you the bruise on your eye the first time I saw you?" I asked him and he looked away from me. I had been dreading to know if it was Todd ever since he told me he was used to more pain. I needed to know if he was abused by someone else too, or only bullied by Todd."Yeah," he replied but I could tell he was lying. He changed his voice and became still. He avoided eye contact and blinked rapidly. His chest rose and fell in a fast pace. I knew it wasn't going to be easy for him to tell me, but I needed to know. I needed to be there for him."Liar." I drawled slowly and he shook his head and balled his fist. I was infuriating him so he would tell me out if frustration. I would do anything to get the truth from him."

You can't do epic shit with basic people."Don't you have a place called school to go to." I heard dad knock on my door and I sat up with sleepy eyes. I stared at the wall clock and my eyes widened. I had few minutes to be at school. I got up instantly and rushed to my bathroom to have a quick bath. My hair was really tangled so I did my usual rough double dutch braids.I dressed up quickly and picked my bag. I didn't want to disturb Storm who was still asleep so I rushed out and went to the refrigerator to grab a granola bar."Here take this. I hate high school lunches, it's gross." Uncle Levi said handling me a paper bag. I threw it in my backpack and ran to dad's garage. I climbed on my new bike, fixed my helmet and drove out of the house.I got to the school and parked it at the students pa

When everything is lonely, I can be my best friend."How did you..." I trailed off when he looked back at me and turned front, hugging his knees and playing with the water. I knew I was lying but I needed to cheer him up. He was better off not sad."How did you know?" I asked again after clearing my throat. I folded my arms and watched as Storm began to play with the plants."You're so noisy for a stalker. I could hear your footsteps and heavy breathing. Plus you don't need to act dumb, it's not required," he said and I rolled my eyes and sat close to him, hugging my knees too."So..." I trailed off and he glared at me. The swell on his eyes had reduced and the color was now a shade of purple. I smiled at the blue shirt he wore. We kind of matched."I told you to st
