LOGINYou will not heal by going back to what broke you.
"Don't you dare go in there Lee you won't like what you'll see." I heard dad yell and I sat up on my bed and rubbed my sleepy eyes. Storm was wide awake and staring at the door.
"Morning Storm." I greeted in my raspy voice and the door slammed open. My eyes widened as I stared at the feet of the person in my room and slowly trailed upwards. Green boots, black jumper worn with a green crop top and a green bandana on a perfect red hair in a ponytail. There was only one person that was this creative and obsessed with bandanas.
"Aunt Lily." I deadpanned and she squealed and pulled me in tight hug. She released me when I gasped for air and smiled sheepishly. Aunt Lily was my dad's adopted sister and mom's half sister. I really don't care about what happened in the past.
"This is art," she whispered, looking around my room and then she grinned at me. For a 26 year old, she was too immature. Not that I was complaining though.
"Why didn't you tell me she was here. Do you know how long I have longed to see her?" Aunt Lily asked and I glanced at dad who had a grim look on his face.
"I thought you were having a vacation in Bora Bora with Caleb?" Dad asked and she glared at him, note the disrespect.
"You could have at least called me," she replied and dad held the bridge of his nose and sighed in annoyance. Something he did when she was around.
"Why exactly are you here? What about Levi?" He asked and Aunt Lily smirked, I knew that look more than anyone. He was coming too and they both wanted to make dad's life hell.
"He's on his way. We'll be here for a week," she said and dad cursed and released colorful words as he left. I got a glimpse of dad's tattoo on his back and cringed.
"You've grown so big. The last time I saw you, you were in an asylum," she said and I nodded awkwardly. This was so weird. It wasn't like when I was younger that I would always wrap myself around her because I adored her.
"Who's this little fella?" She squealed and grabbed Storm who protested at first but obliged.
I got down and flinched when I heard his voice.
"I'm here fuckers! Where the hell is my main bitch!" Uncle Levi yelled and I ran into my mini bathroom to brush my teeth. Uncle Liam had always called me that even when mom got angry and smashed a block of ice on his head during winter. He was also dad's adopted brother. I combed my hair and wore my black fuzzy slippers then went out of my room to the living room.
"There she is!" Uncle Levi yelled and pulled me in a hug. I humfed at how tight he squeezed me but I wouldn't dare complain.
"Hi." I greeted with a small smile and he grinned and gave me a wrapped present. I dropped it on the shelf and decided to make breakfast for everyone.
We ate breakfast together and dad and Uncle Levi had some business meetings to attend to, so here we were, Aunt Lily and I, facing each other across the dining.
"Want to go for a walk?" She asked and I nodded eagerly and went to shower. Much to my dismay, I was forced to wear a sweatshirt, and a low baggy ripped jean with some sneakers and a blue bandana. I pulled Storm's leach and we walked out of the house.
"Morning neighbors." I heard Emily greet us but we both ignored her and kept on walking.
"You know her?" Aunt Lily asked as we left the street into a new street.
"Yeah. I attacked her when I came here. She's a bitch." I replied and she laughed wholeheartedly while I smiled.
"I think she's after Kade. The first time I came here, she tried to set me up. Just can't wait for your mom and dad to get back together," she sighed and I glanced at her in confusion.
"How do you know that?" I asked and she chuckled, her laugh lines showing beside her eyes.
"When two people care about each other, they always find a way to make it work. No matter how hard it is," she said and I nodded. It's not like I care about someone. Ginger popped into my mind and I groaned inwardly.
"So enough about your dad, tell me about you." She clasped her hands together loudly and I rolled my eyes.
"There's nothing about me." I replied in a shrug and she hummed softly. Few minutes passed in silence and I thought she forgot about the conversation.
"There's no boy?" She asked and I groaned. My thoughts went to Ginger again. I wondered if he was street performing now. There was something about him that always made me calm and collected. His face made me think of positive things. He was like my personal therapy.
"Hello," a finger snapped in my face and I blinked profusely before glaring at the person in front of me.
"What?" I snapped with narrowed eyes and she chuckled.
"I asked you a question and you totally spaced out. That means there's a boy," she teased and I frowned.
"No ew there's no boy. I hate feelings." I explained and she laughed and shook her head.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night," she said and I rolled my eyes.
"Tell me about Jayden and Jaylen." I told her and she grinned. Jayden and Jaylen were dad's younger blood brothers this time. Late Gran gave birth after adopting Aunt Lily and Uncle Levi. They were a pair of stupid 20 year olds that decided to name themselves the STD twins( super tough dudes). I shook my head and listened to the things she told me about them.
My listening trailed off as I stared at Ginger who was arranging his guitar case.
"Is that him?" She asked and I jumped and shook my head.
"No." I replied through gritted teeth and looked away from him.
"He's a cutie," she squealed and I looked up to find him staring at me. I waved at him and he looked away and walked off. I gritted my teeth in anger. How dare he ignore me. I should chop his fingers off and force Storm to eat them slowly.
"I'll be back late." I told her and picked Storm.
"Oh take all the time you need and use protection!" She warned and I gave her my beautiful middle finger. She did the same and laughed as she walked towards McDonalds. Yup, that's how crazy we are.
I ran across the street and began to follow Ginger. I stayed far away from him but used his tallness to sight him. I followed him till it was only the two of us on a rocky road and my sneakers began to hurt. Soon he went through the side of a small abandoned house. He walked through the bushy path and stopped at a gate. He opened it and got down the concrete stairs that lead to a small river. He sat at the bottom and I checked out the scenery. It was extremely beautiful.
"I know you're here Harriet," he sighed and I smiled. I knew he knew I was following. I wouldn't take a dummy a minute to know too.
Oh my gosh. How hot do you think her father is in percentage?

I told him and his lips trembled much to my pleasure. This was want I wanted. His mind unable to think straight because of me. Because of what I was capable of doing."You k-k-killed a married m-man and his 4 year o-o-old child," he stuttered and I rolled my eyes. Out of all things he could use to remember me was this."The man was annoying the hell out of me and he should have known not to bring his daughter into my rubber room or should I call it padded cell when he wanted to do his therapying." I told him with quoted fingers and his e
"I'd like to see him first," dad said with his hands akimbo and I rolled my eyes at his style of being the strict father."He can be very shy." I whispered and dad gave me a questioning look. I sighed and went over to open the door, ignoring Aunt Lily's teasing whistle. Uncle Levi on the other hand was holding a shot gun in case he needed to shoot the guy. His words not mine."My crazy family wants to see you." I told him and he exhaled in fright and rubbed his shaking hands together. He looked really good in a white long sleeved shirt and jean. His hair covered with a black head warmer. He came in and froze. I glared at Uncle Levi who pointed the gun to him. He grinned in happiness, and lowered the gun."I heard you're taking my girl out on a little trip?" Dad asked and I rolled my eyes. Ginger flinched and nodded slowly.
Life's a bitch. You've got to go out there and kick some asses off."Was it Todd that gave you the bruise on your eye the first time I saw you?" I asked him and he looked away from me. I had been dreading to know if it was Todd ever since he told me he was used to more pain. I needed to know if he was abused by someone else too, or only bullied by Todd."Yeah," he replied but I could tell he was lying. He changed his voice and became still. He avoided eye contact and blinked rapidly. His chest rose and fell in a fast pace. I knew it wasn't going to be easy for him to tell me, but I needed to know. I needed to be there for him."Liar." I drawled slowly and he shook his head and balled his fist. I was infuriating him so he would tell me out if frustration. I would do anything to get the truth from him."
You can't do epic shit with basic people."Don't you have a place called school to go to." I heard dad knock on my door and I sat up with sleepy eyes. I stared at the wall clock and my eyes widened. I had few minutes to be at school. I got up instantly and rushed to my bathroom to have a quick bath. My hair was really tangled so I did my usual rough double dutch braids.I dressed up quickly and picked my bag. I didn't want to disturb Storm who was still asleep so I rushed out and went to the refrigerator to grab a granola bar."Here take this. I hate high school lunches, it's gross." Uncle Levi said handling me a paper bag. I threw it in my backpack and ran to dad's garage. I climbed on my new bike, fixed my helmet and drove out of the house.I got to the school and parked it at the students pa

When everything is lonely, I can be my best friend."How did you..." I trailed off when he looked back at me and turned front, hugging his knees and playing with the water. I knew I was lying but I needed to cheer him up. He was better off not sad."How did you know?" I asked again after clearing my throat. I folded my arms and watched as Storm began to play with the plants."You're so noisy for a stalker. I could hear your footsteps and heavy breathing. Plus you don't need to act dumb, it's not required," he said and I rolled my eyes and sat close to him, hugging my knees too."So..." I trailed off and he glared at me. The swell on his eyes had reduced and the color was now a shade of purple. I smiled at the blue shirt he wore. We kind of matched."I told you to st
