Chapter Three

Lydia 

I woke up to the sound of my alarm gosh! I hate alarms so much. I stood up and heed to the bathroom I brushed my teeth and took my bath I relax to the feeling of hot water  on my body. I stayed there for more than I intended to do, I washed my hair with a shampoo and then dry my hair and body with a towel 

I wore my plain black T-shirt ,skinny jeans and my black snickers I text Nicole telling her to meet me in  Starbucks for some good coffee because  its weekend no school 

it took me thirty minute to reach Starbucks I silently pray that I don't meet king jerk because I heard that he always comes to Starbucks on weekdays I entered the place and sat down waiting for the waiter a young boy approached me 

"what will you like miss?"

I smiled at the young boy he remind me of my cousin 

" I will like a cafe latte please"

"Ok miss"

while waiting for the waiter to bring my cafe latte I checked on my phone and I saw a text from Nicole 

Sorry can't come, mom sent me for some errands , but will come for lunch later.

"Hmm..today seems boring" I muttered to my self I suddenly feel a presence near me I turned my head to see who's there to my surprise I found the master himself king jerk staring at me with a evil smile I thought to my self I think my day just turned from boring to bad .

"what is your problem, why are you following me?" He said 

he sat down on the chair facing me with a smirk 

"wow what makes you think I'm following you? Who do you think you are?"

"you are just a piece of shit and nothing more you are someone I hate and despise so much, I wish you  could disappear from the school" he said with a scowl

I felt some anger begin to  build into me but I held it in, I hate the smirk on his face, I couldn't take it any longer I stood up

"I might hate confrontations but I wont accept some jerk throwing insults at me. Who  do you think you are! Your dick belongs in your pants not your personality but technically your attitude is shit I don't know what I have ever done to you and let me make one thing clear I wont accept a dickhead like you insulting me and I might hate confrontations but I wont hesitate to show you the other side of me" I know Kate told me his dangerous but I don't care, I wont let him insult me 

I turned to leave I saw his face he looked surprised at first, but his face immediately turns to his usual dangerous look

"wow! So the cat really has a dark side" he said folding his hands on his chest revealing little of his chest stop staring lydia.

I hissed and left the place I heard the waiter calling me 

"miss!"

"miss!" but I was very angry I slammed the door 

I heed back home seeing my dad sitting on the couch reading newspaper 

"Hi dad" 

"Hi my dear" he greeted back. I entered the kitchen spotting my mom cooking.

"Hmm..what is mom cooking?"

"Your favourite pasta with meatballs" mom whispered.

"Okay mom let me change" I went up to my room and change into a simple pair of trouser and crop top.

"Hey" Nicole waved at me while helping mom set the table. I waved back. We ate lunch while chatting. Nicole helped me with the washing the dishes.

"So how was your trip to Starbucks? I rolled my eyes thinking about the event.

"lydi what happen why did you sound annoyed did something happen?"

I closed my eyes and open it again 

"the trip was very bad I met Zion”

"What? I hope nothing happened" she said widening her eyes.

"Of course he insulted me and  I couldn't control my anger so I insulted him back and he called me cat, he got me so angry and......

"lydi breath" Nicole said and that's when I remembered to breath after taking puffs of breath I said 

"thanks Nicole" 

"but lydi I hope he wont get back at you"

"Whatever" I said

The weekend goes by just little event happened after that day I stayed at home and did all my assignment, and also chat with my two friends Nicole and Kate.

Before I know, its Monday again school time, I went to school not very early with Nicole. I was heading to the class when I saw king jerk and a girl making out his back against a locker I just hissed and heed to my class I saw him glanced at me from the corner of my eye.

Asshole.

We sat at our usual seats. Me and nicole since we don't have the same class with kate.  the professor enters and wrote a test on the board he brought a basket and collect all our phones and hang the basket around the handle of the door. What kind of professor gives a test on first week

The rest of class goes by in a rush and it was lunch time so we head to the cafeteria, where we met Kate already waiting for us at our usual table.

"Guess what guys, Zion is  throwing a party this weekend 

am really looking forward to this coming party you're going right?" She asked excitedly.

"Go alone because  am not going to that king jerk so called party". I said 

" c'mon Lydia don't be a party popper, you know everyone is going "

"I don't care am going nowhere" I yelled. She's surprised by my outburst 

"Sorry but am not going" I stood up and left I'm not going to any party.

"Please please please Lydia I promise to never force you to come to a party with me after this one they will be a lot of fun trust me" Nicole held my hand looking at me with puppy eyes.

"Why do you want me to go to the party you can go if you want" 

"Come on Lydia.. I won't be fun without you, please" she pleaded.

"still NO? Ok I guess I'm not your best friend since I'm not important to you, my opinion aren't important" she fake frown.

"Nic don't play that card"I could see the disappointment in Nicole face 

"if you want our friendship to continue then come with me" she stood up and left I felt guilty for turning her down but I just don't want to face him after insulting me.
