Chapter seven

Lydia

The past two days was hectic I can't bring myself to believe Zion has changed, last time he forced Nicole in giving him my number. He's been calling me sweet talking to me I just don't know what to do every time he talks to me I felt weak

I was on my way to the class as Nicole is waiting for me, I gasped when I heard someone tapped my shoulder to my much surprise it was Zion his touch sent shivers down my body.

" hey what are you doing here?" I could see the smirk on his face widened.

"Come on babe what do you mean am escorting you" what he's now calling me babe come on Lydia get your act together.

" I don't need your kindness" I snapped at him.

"Come on babe, you still don't believe I've changed?" I couldn't tell the look I saw on his face whether its sincerity or pretence. I  still can't let him play with me, I can't forgive him yet I have to find out if he has really changed.

"No!" I shouted I could see a change on his face.

"Just wait I will prove to you that I've changed" with that he left. I sigh, my chest is beating fast what's wrong with you Lydia pull yourself together.

I walked to the class and took a bottle water from my bag and gulped it down.

" lydi are you okay" I heard Nicole voice I can't let her know. I form a small smile

"Am okay what do you see" I could see sign of disbelief

"OK I will tell you" no matter how much I want to hide something from Nicole she always finds out. She can read me. I sat down close to her

"I met Zion" I said in one breath. 

"What? What did he say?" I can see Nicole boiling with anger.

"Calm down Nicole its not something serious"

"What not serious! I can sense you're wavering we have to start our plan, do whatever it takes to make him fall for you"

"OK I will try"

"What do you mean you will try? You will do it and let me remind you once again,  Don't fall for Zion if not our plan will all be in vain."

Zion

He clenched his fist and gulped down hard.

"Calm down man you will still have another Chance" Ben said

"Ben I just can't wait to have her in my bed, I hate waiting. I will have to take my next move" I  said walking

"What are you gonna do" ben asked curiously.

"Just watch and see Ben"

I just can't wait to destroy you Lydia I will have to make my next move. He took his phone and dialed Lydia's Number she didn't pick up he bit his lip and decided to text her

"Let's meet up I will be waiting" he texted her the address and he stood up and took his car key and left smirking. Game on.

Lydia

When see saw the text she ignored it but had a deep thinking this going to be her chance so she stood up and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower, she dressed in her simple top and skinning jeans, and wrote a short note for Nicole. she is spending the night in Nicole's house, she checked her phone to confirm the address again its  a bar that is nearby  she trek because its not that far.

As she enters the bar she saw him sitting on the chair drinking beer she rolled her eyes and walk to him

"Hi" he said smiling. Fake.

"Hi" she managed to say and sat down

"So what did you call me here for?" A small smile crept on his lips

"Come on Lydia aren't we friends why the hard face " friends? Where did that come from. He called the waiter and order two bottle of beer.

"So...." Turning to face me "I want to apologize once again about what I did to you in the past I hope my apology will be accepted" he said grinning I shoved whatever thought away only my plan

I smile "don't worry let's bygone be bygone" I stretched my hand for a handshake he accept it smiling I couldn't help the electric shock I feel when he touched my hands focus Lydia

I kept repeating to myself my mission is going to be accomplished.

"Thank you for the drink" I manage to say as my head is spinning

"Oh..Lydia no need you're most welcome sleep tight as it was past 10"

"Good night" and I open the gate and enter

"Wow wow wow Lydia you're almost falling in my trap, I will just have to pretend more to have your complete trust" biting his lips and smirking he enters his car and drove off.

"What will you like" I asked politely.

"Two cups of Coffee please" the wife said

"Okay" I said with a smile, I sigh its been weeks since I started my part time job in this coffee shop. since that night  I haven't met Zion he did not text or call I wonder if he's back to his jerk self. I pushed away the thought, I went with their coffee I gave them with a smile.  I thought of calling Nicole I was kind of bored thank God its weekend no school stress. I dialed Nicole number.

"Hello Nicole"

"What's up lydi"

"Fine" I sigh.

"How was your day.....wait your voice sound pale! Is everything  okay" I could sense the worry in her  voice.

"Am okay..I just kind of bored" I sigh

" oh come on Lydia..... When you're done with your work you call me let's enjoy the day"

"Okay" I smiled, Nicole is so caring, she is just the best Lydia would ask for .
