Explosions can be heard outside, commotion within the church as several priests and nuns are running helter skelter as they hurry to help as many as they can to escape, along with their clergymen, men suited in chain mail, bearing medieval weapons are seen rushing out in the direction of the explosions
THE CHAPEL
MARTHA : the baby is coming now… ( amidst groans)
ELIJAH : oh no… this is the worst time, couldn’t it wait till after we got to a safe place??...there’s no telling what might happen if you stay here to deliver ( sarcasm and worry resonates in his voice)
MARTHA : You make it sound like as though I can control it, don’t you dare upset me now ( darting her eyes at Elijah)
ELIJAH : Sorry my dear, I didn’t mean it like that but I’m sure you realize that this church is under attack, I’m not sure how long it would be able to hold ( with his left palm to the back of his head while his right hand caressed Martha’s hand)
MARTHA : then go outside and deal with it and stop stressing me here, nurse tell him to leave, he is causing more disturbance than actually helping ( the nurse rises up and leads Elijah out of the room)
OUTSIDE THE CHAPEL
NURSE : I’m sorry Mr Creed but your wife doesn’t need any stress at the moment, we don’t know how long it would take before we are done but the truth is that right now we can’t move her as she is due any minute now
ELIJAH : I understand nurse, just take care of her… don’t worry about the chaos outside, I and the rest of the chosen will try to deal with it
( a scream is heard from inside the delivery room)
NURSE : It would seem she’s gone into labor, I would have to go in now ( she walks into the room and closes the door behind her)
ELIJAH : Damn it… .you guys make sure to guard this place with your life ( the guards stationed in front of the room nod and watch him leave with worry on his face)
THE CATHEDRAL GARDEN
Elijah walks into the garden to meet with his teammates; Marcel, Lincoln, Kane, Harold, Celia and Diane. A bishop and a few priests are seen there with them as well as some nuns, they seem to be engaged in a serious discussion but stop at the entrance of Elijah
ARCHBISHOP JUAN JOSE : ah… Elijah, I’m glad you could join us, how is Martha??
ELIJAH : she’s fine ,she’s in labor at the moment but hopefully she’ll pull through without any complications
ARCHBISHOP JUAN JOSE : that’s good
MARCEL : we have a problem Elijah, the demons attacking the church are blocking civilians from moving through without losses, the knights are taking a beating and it’s not gonna stop any time soon, if we are gonna do something, now’s the time
ELIJAH : The best thing would be to go out there and join in the fight, hopefully we can buy enough time for civilians to escape as well as enough time for Martha to give birth, what do you guys think??
DIANE : As of now you’re our leader seeing that Martha is out of commission, so what ever you decide we’ll go with but we can’t just jump out there without a plan, as it is we still don’t know who is at the helm of this attack
LINCOLN : Diane’s right, we need a plan
KANE : the plan is simple, we go out there and smash some heads, that wouldn’t be so hard
CELIA : Is there ever any plan of yours that doesn’t involve brute force without thinking??
KANE : Humph….
ELIJAH : that’s enough, guys… fighting amongst ourselves won’t solve anything, let’s go out… we’ll be careful but let’s not hold back, us holding back could spell doom for everyone here
HAROLD : ai ai captain, so let’s get going
ARCHBISHOP JUAN JOSE : The Lord be with you has you go out to do battle against the forces of darkness.
ELIJAH : Thank you, we’ll be leaving now… please ensure that every civilian is able to leave here soon before the battle escalates..
ARCHBISHOP JUAN JOSE : Of course, we’ll do our best with the evacuation…
KANE : Alright then, I’m heading out…
CELIA : Hey wait for us…
AREA JUST OUTSIDE THE CHURCH’S GATES
The sky is red with blood and black clouds makes the scenery more scary than it already was as the battlefield was covered with bodies and fire, The area is in complete chaos has both demons and knights clash with murderous intent, it’s clear to see that the knights are losing badly, being beating by the far more superior demon warriors that were not taking prisoners…
UNNAMED HOLY KNIGHT : General, we are taking a beating… we need to retreat if not we’ll all be killed
GENERAL AARON : Hold your ground soldiers, if we fall then every single civilians inside the church would….
The general is not allowed to finish his sentence before a fireball is sent flying his way, he is unable to move out of the way on time, he puts up his shield to provide some form of protection but then there is no impact, he puts down his shield and is immediately gripped with happiness at the figure in front of him
GENERAL AARON : Kane!!!!
KANE : General, I did not expect you to be so unaware of your surroundings…
Kane stands in front of Aaron with his right palm raised upward with the fireball floating just inches from his palm, He sights the demon that had launched the ball and immediately sends it back flying with great force, the demon manages to dodge it with anger on its face, Kane let’s out a smile before planting his feet in the ground, the demon charges at Kane with deathly intent but Kane seems unmoved, before the demon can make contact with a punch to Kane’s face, Kane grabs it’s fist and lands a blow of his own, blowing the demon’s head clean, the hellish creature drops dead to the ground with blood spluttering all around
KANE : Who else?? ( with a smirk on his lips)
UNKNOWN KNIGHT : The chosen have arrived!!!!!!
The arrival of Elijah and his crew at the battlefield was immediately greeted by cheers all around as the knights hailed their arrival with joy
UNKNOWN KNIGHT 1 : The chosen are here now, there’s no way we are gonna lose now
UNKNOWN KNIGHT 2 : You unholy creatures better prepare yourself for a whole lot of ass whooping

The battle is spread across the island as the apostles use Agares and his forces to let off pent off steam, the intensity of their attacks affected the landscape with numerous explosions erupting around the island from the places which the apostles fought.
