CHAPTER 4

A thick darkness envelopes the area in which Paimon and Elijah stood, the other chosen notice this and turn their attention there, they are stunned when the darkness clears and Elijah is gone along with Paimon 

HAROLD : Elijah!!!! 

CELIA : Where did they go?? 

KANE : Elijah!!! 

LINCOLN : ELIJAH!!! 

DIANE : No….

MARCEL : …..

LOCATION : REALM OF LOST SOULS, PURGATORY

TIME : IRRELEVANT 

DATE : IRRELEVANT 

[  FACTS : *PURGATORY IS A DIMENSION WHERE UNCLEAN SOULS GO TO BE CLEANSED OF THEIR SINS, DUE TO THE FACT THAT MOST SOULS ARE NOT CAPABLE OF DOING ANY GOOD DEEDS IN THIS PLACE THEY NORMALLY END UP BEING TRAPPED FOR ETERNITY. 

*THE REALM OF LOST SOULS IS ONE OF THE SEVEN REALMS THE CONSIST OF PURGATORY, ITS SIZE IS ON EQUAL FOOTING WITH THE EARTH’S MOON 

*THE EXACT LOCATION OF PAIMON AND ELIJAH IS THE ISLAND OF THE FORGOTTEN WITH ITS SIZE BEING COMPARABLE TO THAT OF ASIA 

Paimon and Elijah appear in a dimly lit area with mist covering the place, pain and despair is almost tangible in the air with the smell of hopelessness hanging 

ELIJAH : Where is this place, I can literally feel the hopelessness in the atmosphere 

PAIMON : This is the realm of lost souls, one of the seven realms that make up purgatory… this is where you shall die 

ELIJAH : hmm, this is quite the location you picked, almost like as though you prepared this place for such an encounter ( with a mischievous grin)…. I have to be careful, lord knows what might happen if I act too hastily ( muttering under his breath) 

Paimon is vexed by Elijah’s words and it seems Cerberus felt his anger as it let out a deafening roar before proceeding to form a large ball of dark matter in its mouths, Elijah readies himself both physically and mentally for the bout that was about to take place 

PAIMON : Die ( Cerberus let’s out the balls it formed after it had amassed enough dark matter to blow up a small country, the size of the balls where the same as wrecking balls as it sped at supersonic speed towards Elijah )

ELIJAH : Tch, I don’t think so…. Heavenly art : Tri-celestial stakes 

Three enormous stakes appear behind Elijah and are projected towards the balls, they clash and cause an explosion reminiscent of the destructive effects of a nuclear bomb, with massive shock waves sending Elijah flying backwards, the smoke is cleared by a massive wind and Paimon still sits atop Cerberus with an annoyance on his face, Elijah steadies himself a couple of hundred meters from Paimon and sets his eyes on Cerberus, Paimon stares intently at Elijah before setting Cerberus on Elijah, the monstrous beast rushes towards Elijah with killer intent, Elijah grits his teeth at the beast lumbering towards him 

ELIJAH : Heavenly art : Divine beam 

He points his right hand towards Cerberus and a massive beam of light is fired from his outstretched arm towards the beast cutting it into two clean halves with the beam going on to hit where Paimon stood with a massive explosion erupting upon impact with another batch of shock waves changing the landscape even further, Cerberus is torn into two halves with blood spilling from its guts 

ELIJAH : Quite unfortunate that your beast couldn’t survive one miniature blast ( with a smile on his face) 

PAIMON : It’s cute that you think that such an attack would be enough to stop Cerberus ( with a condescending smirk) 

ELIJAH : What are you talking about?? ( With his smile turning into a frown) 

PAIMON : Why don’t you gaze upon the creature that you claim to have destroyed 

Elijah turns his face to where Cerberus stood and was shocked at the sight he saw, Cerberus stood with its guts showing and it’s middle head torn apart, it begins to regenerate with another head forming thus causing Cerberus to grow in size and gain an extra head as well 

ELIJAH : What the… how’s that even possible??... That was a point blank attack, yet it shook it off like it was nothing, this is turning out to be quite troublesome 

PAIMON : Ha-ha, now let’s see how you fight your way out of Cerberus claws before it rips you to shreds 

ELIJAH : Just you watch, idiot…. 

MEANWHILE BACK AT THE CHURCH 

HAROLD : Heavenly art : lightening spear 

Harold forms a lightening spear in his right hand and hurls it at a gathered group of demons, the attack decimates the demon group is was hurled at with it also causing a massive crater at the point of impact, more demons gather around Harold and attack him simultaneously 

HAROLD : Shit… Heavenly art :  Aegis 

A lightening barrier forms around him repelling all the enemies attacks with ease, with a wave of his hand the barrier forms into a lightening armor greatly enhancing his speed, strength and agility, he moves at supersonic speed and attacks the demons gathered around him with murderous intent, he clashes with them and begins to cut them down with relative ease 

HAROLD : We need to finish up here so that we can go after Paimon and Elijah, who knows what condition Elijah must be in… 

CELIA : I hope he’s alright… Heavenly art : Rock warriors 

Celia summons an army of stone warriors to assist her in cutting down her adversaries has she mauls down the enemy with fury in her eyes 

DEMON GENERAL #1 : These humans are mad, how can they be dealing such damages to our forces while they take no damages, it makes no sense ( with shock on his hellish face )

LINCOLN : Heavenly art : all consuming flame 

An enormous wave of black flames erupt from Lincoln and wipes clean every single demon in his vicinity over a hundred meters radius around him, he coats himself in the flame and rushes forward for more encounters, none of the attacks thrown at him by the demons seem to be working has the flames encompassing him seemed to be eating their attacks 

LINCOLN : Try all you want, you lot ain’t gonna hurt me with such measly attacks…. Heavenly art : devouring skin 

The battlefield is thrown into more chaos has the chosen fight even harder so as to be able to provide assistance to Elijah wherever he may be… 

ISLAND OF THE FORGOTTEN ( PURGATORY) 

A large explosion can be seen has Elijah battles the hellish creature, Cerberus, Paimon floats above with a smile on his face has he looks upon the battle hoping that Cerberus tore Elijah to pieces. Elijah dodges the assault of Cerberus tails on him has he hops from one place to the other 

ELIJAH : I have to do something about this monster before I run out of energy… Heavenly art : Holy sigil of light 

A bright light flashes behind Elijah forming a circular sigil behind him with runes circling around the edges, Cerberus attempts to blast Elijah with its dark matter balls but is unsuccessful has a large beam of light is fired from the sigil behind Elijah which wipes out everything in his view with even Cerberus howling from the impact 

ELIJAH : Did that work??

Cerberus stands with enormous scars on its being, three of its heads had been completely destroyed and it’s body was torn to pieces with Elijah seeing it’s internal organs, it’s not too long before Cerberus starts to regenerate with its size increasing even further 

ELIJAH : Damn it, that didn’t work as well, how am I supposed to defeat something that just gets stronger no matter how I injure it……( he trails off has an idea comes to mind) 

PAIMON : Now you see that your attacks are futile, give up and die already.. ( he says has he bursts into a sinister laugh) 

ELIJAH : Not yet, I’m not giving up just yet ( with a smile on his face)….  Heavenly art : Mirror reflection + duplication  

Elijah creates two extra duplicates of himself and rushes towards Cerberus without a care in the world 

PAIMON : you must be really desperate to think of launching a head on assault…. Cerberus rip him to shreds!!! 

Cerberus begins to charge towards Elijah as well, as it is about to make contact with Elijah, he moves out of the way, his duplicates moving in opposing directions 

ELIJAH : Heavenly art : flashing lights 

A blinding light from Elijah outs off both Cerberus and Paimon has both are blinded by its shine, by the time they regain their sight, Elijah has surrounded Cerberus from all three sides 

PAIMON : What the…. 

ELIJAH : Heavenly art : Big ball of spiraling light
