Alone

The next day Lara, David and I were in town and as if God wanted something stupid to happen that day we met Jenna and her friend Tara She happily introduced herself to Lara and me as friends of Nick. She looked at me. Then she told David that her parents weren't there today and that she wanted to celebrate a little before she went home and invited David over and then sgate to us that we can also come with Jess. I didn't answer, so Lara just shrugged her shoulder and muttered a "let's see". Then she talked briefly with David. Lara and I left already before, because we didn't want to listen to them.

Of course I didn't plan to go there. But when Lara had told Jess about it, she got so upset about it that she said we had to go there just because she was just making us out höffl invited me and would never expect us to come. I didn't think the idea was that great but when Lara said she was right and we should just go there for a few hours and have a nice drink there so that it's worth it. I let myself be persuaded.

In the evening when the three of us came to Jenna, she opened the door for us. Looked at us in surprise, I could tell that immediately from her face, she really hadn't expected us.

"Here we are." Jess grinned at her exaggeratedly friendly.

"Yes." Just came from Jenna and she moved to one side so we could pass her into the apartment.

"I thought you weren't coming anymore." Yes, I would have loved to not have gone to her either.

"Well, you thought wrong." And another line from Jess and Lara then said.

"Really nice of you, that you invited us, even though you don't ... um know us at all." Jenna nodded.

"Yeah, yeah okay." Then Jenna turned around and walked on. Jess and I looked at Lara and Jess said softly.

"What was that saying?" Lara shrugged, grinning.

"I don't know." I had to smile.

"That was really cool." Jess agreed. Then we went into the living room. We looked around and then sat down at a small table where no one was sitting. There were a few from the club here too. As well as Nick, Jonas and Sven, who were with Tara and Jenna. Nick looked at me and smiled and I smiled back, but he didn't come to me. Very nice! Then Jess gave me something to drink. A few minutes later, Noah sat down with us, just as much as Lara and I didn't want to be here. He talked to Jess the whole time until she went to Sven. Noah got up and said goodbye because he wanted to go somewhere else and went.

Later I was bored typing on my cell phone until Lara tapped me and looked at the sofa so that I followed her gaze. Jenna tried Nick to take off his cap and it took a while until she managed it and she then put on his cap and laughed.

"So how does she look on me?" She asked Nick then. Who smiled.

"Not bad." He laughed so that Jenna smiled at him, put her down again, and then gave her back to Nick.

"I think she suits you a lot better than me." Nick smiled again.

"If you say so." Jenna nodded and then let go of the cap. It was really embarrassing how she tried to flirt with him. I couldn't watch that any longer. Otherwise I would freak out. I didn't feel like it anymore. I looked at Lara, who was staring at her bored.

"Come on, let's go." I said and Lara looked up at me, nodded immediately and we got up. We went to Jess and Sven and told them we wanted to go. We said goodbye to them and went into the hallway. Nick came to us.

"Ciao Nick." Lara just said and went to the door, I turned to Nick.

"You are already leaving?" I nodded. Then I heard Lara again.

"I have to just have to wait for me again." I nodded without looking at her and heard her disappear behind a door.

"Didn't you have so much fun here?" Was that really his question? That was really stupid. Of course I didn't like it! What should I have liked here, that this Jenna was messing with Nick all the time, that he was with her all the time and not with me?

"No!" I just said. I didn't want to make a scene here now.

"See you then." I said then, came even closer to him and gave him a kiss so that Nick hugged me and pulled me to him. I immediately noticed that he had already drunk quite a bit. His breath smelled strongly of alcohol. When I broke away from him, Jenna just came into the hallway and looked at us. Sodas Nick let go of me and I took a step backwards. Then I heard her annoying voice.

"Here you are." And looked at me.

"Are you going?" I nodded. Then luckily Lara came back and opened the door.

"Thanks for the inclusion." You should be polite. I also tried not to sound bitchy about it. Jenna nodded and I turned around, went to Lara and still heard Jenna sgate.

"Well then come back inside." Then I closed the door behind me.

The next day I met Nick in town, I wanted to buy something to read for the drive home. Because I would take the train home tonight.

"Hey Jo." He shouted, so that I stopped and only then saw him. He looked pretty finished.

"Hello," it came coolly from me and we both looked at each other in silence for a moment.

“Why did you go so early yesterday? was it so boring for you? ”Unbelievable that he asked now

“ Yes, boring is not an expression. ”I said then and he nodded.

“I wanted to come over later. Tell you something else, I'm going away with my boss Billy tonight for two weeks. He got a job. in Italy. Don't ask me how he got it. There are five cars, he asked me to come with him. I get extra money for it and also vacation if I want to have him sometime afterwards. ”I nodded knowingly.

"Yes, I've heard." Nick looked at me in amazement.

"Sven, he was briefly with David this morning and I heard him tell him." Nick nodded.

"And when will you be back?" I wanted to know.

"I guess ... about next Friday. Saturday at the latest." I nodded slightly. Then I wouldn't see him next weekend. He looked at me and smiled All of a sudden.

"Sad?" I didn't answer. So he smiled even more.

"How about I come to you later. I have to go to Billy for a moment, but then I would have time before I have to pack." I smiled at him and then nodded.

"Yes, come over." He smiled at me again and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Then we went in different directions.

In the late afternoon when Nick was with me I found out next to that Nick I couldn't believe it.

"You slept with her?" I hissed. He nodded.

"Sven, Jonas and Tara too." I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"So you did you all slept in one room? "

" No ... Sven and Jonas have the Living room slept with Tara. ”

“ And you? ”I interrupted him.

"With Jenna in the guest room." I shook my head angrily.

" That was clear. So you want to tell me that you were so booed that you couldn't even go downstairs to your apartment. Damn it! you live just a few flights of stairs below her. You're kidding me! And then of course you have to sleep in a room with her. ”I couldn't calm myself down. I walked around the room and Nick Sahs on my chair and followed me the whole time with his eyes as I paced back and forth.

"I didn't sleep in a bed with her, but on the little sofa that was in the room." I snorted.

"It would have been even nicer if you had slept in the same bed with her." I hissed. Nick continued to look at me and remained calm.

"I don't understand why you're angry?" He wasn't serious.

"Because she's your ex!" I almost yelled at him.

"We're just friends." I sat on the bed and stared at the floor, that was just too much for me. Why didn't he understand why I thought it was so bad.

"Yes, you are definitely still the best of friends ... you don't believe that yourself." I shook my head. How could he be so stupid and not notice that she was still into him, everyone could see that. Nick looked over at me.

“She's still into you. How can you be friends with her there? ”

“ No. ”I saw Nick shaking his head incredulously.

"Of course she does!" I hissed again.

"How do you come up with it, where do you want to know? did she tell you? ”I shook my head. As if she were telling me that I was into him.

"She's still wearing your ring." I answer then.

"What?" Fargte confused Nick and I sighed again, so he got up and I looked up at him.

"I don't understand what the ring has to do with you thinking that they ..." He didn't go on.

“Because she's still wearing it, if she wasn't into you anymore, then she wouldn't be wearing it anymore. She would have put it somewhere where she doesn't always see it or even thrown it away. But she still wears it because she is always reminded of the time with you and thinks it is good, then always knows how it came about that she has it now. That's such a girl thing. ”I tried to explain it to him somehow. He came to me and sat down next to me on the bed.

"She's only wearing it because she still likes you." We both looked at each other.
