Nnenna's POV 

Next morning,I woke up I checked the time it's 5:30 am ,i said my prayers.

I went into the bathroom took my tooth brush applied little pea sized toothpaste and brushed my teeth .

When I was I went to do the house chores.

I went into the kitchen ,I was doing the dishes and singing when I heard aunt Belinda's voice,

 I greeted her  , she asked me why I'm up this early instead of sleeping.

She wanted to continue washing the plates, I told her not to bother she went to the sitting room and started cleaning up.

Belinda's POV

I was so surprised to see Nnenna so early washing the dishes,

 she's so hardworking and respectful too.

I asked her why she's up this early.

She said it is a normal routine for her.

Nnenna's POV

I was not expecting aunt Belinda to be surprised, because back in the village.

 I wake up earlier than this latest am up by 4:00 am that even if I'm allowed to sleep 😥😥😥. 

Aunt Belinda is really hardworking not like some rich spoilt brats.

Mom came to the kitchen, she smiled and pecked my cheeks, I greeted her , she asked me how my night was .

I said it was nice, she told me to come to the sitting room when I was done.

I was done washing the dishes,I went to the sitting room.

 I met aunt Belinda, she asked me to sit close to her .

She asked what ointment I use for my hair that makes it so long.

I told her it's just Ori (Shea butter).

 Mom was coming downstairs. 

She looks so beautiful , with simple makeup .

She told aunt Belinda that when we are done with everything.

 she should take me shopping and also get anything she wants for her self . 

She told aunt Belinda to take me sight seeing,we could also go to the cinema or amusement park .

 She gave aunt Belinda her debit card.

She took her bag from the couch and told us she's off to work.

Aunt Belinda asked me if I had any clothes to wear I said no she asked me to follow her to her room .

When we got into her room, she gave me blue jeans trousers, blue arm jacket, white top and white sneakers to go with and new set of inner Wear.

I thank her , she told me not to worry about that .

I went into my room , went into the bathroom I entered the bathtub, after I was done ,I took my towel wrapped it around my body and went into my room . 

I applied the lotion mom gave to me yesterday  ,

 I wore my clothes I looked at my self ,I'm looking so pretty.

After that I started styling my hair,I made two ponytails with it looks beautiful.

Belinda's POV

I was done bathing I dried my body , applied my lotion I wore my inner Wear, and started to wear the clothes I kept aside  .

It's a white top, black leather jacket black jeans trousers and black sneakers.

After putting them on ,I sat down to apply my makeup just powder mascara and lip gloss.

I took my hand bag ,put my makeup, phone and the card gave to me.

I have to go to Nnenna room to see if she's ready.

I knocked on her door she opened the door , 

she looks so beautiful and different even without makeup she looks like a princess.

The clothes looks like she was measured,

 I told her to sit down so I could apply some makeup on her face.

I was done applying in she looks so gorgeous.

We left her room and started heading out.

Belinda's POV

We drove outside the compound and heading to the mall first. 

I turned on the music I connected it with my phone's blue tooth the song Greatest by sia is playing, 

Uh oh running out of breath but oh I 

I got stamina ...

It seems Nnenna is in love with this song she's has been humming to it  ever since. 

Nnenna you love the song right, don't worry I'll send it to you when we buy your phone.

The road is crowded, I saw a woman and three kids by the road side begging for money ,

I told Nnenna to wait inside the car ,I took my purse and went to meet them .

 I checked my purse the only cash on me was just  thirty five thousand naira 

I counted thirty thousand naira and gave it to her, she screamed,I was shocked I asked her if she's hurt or if something is wrong.

 she said she's very grateful because no one has ever given her such an amount ever since her husband died,

 and his brothers took over everything and chased them out of their house.

Her story is really touching I gave her my card and told her to call me, she was really grateful,

 she started praying and blessing me I answered Amen hugged her and her kids and left to meet Nnenna.

Nnenna's POV 

I was looking at aunt Belinda she was talking to a woman, 

she looked unkept and tattered after a while aunt Belinda gave her money , she was so happy , I'm happy too ,

I remember when I was still in the village but giving run the veins of the Williams Smith family,

😁😁😗 just like they saved me from becoming a street girl.

I didn't even notice when aunt Belinda got into the car until she called my name , she asked why I was absent minded ,I told her I saw her giving the woman money, 

she narrated the whole story to me on how the woman and her kids were  chased out of their  house after her husband died. I felt pity for them I wonder how people can be so wicked.

 She also told me that she gave her a card so she could reach her when she needs help.

I thanked for her kind gesture.

Belinda's POV

I wonder how poor people cope ,how cruel people can be its a pity on how people are left homeless because of the wickedness of others . 

I feel hungry we need to get something to eat.

I asked Nnenna if she hungry she said yes ,I told her there's a restaurant at the front of the road when we get there we would eat.

Back in the village

Aunt's chioma's POV

Amaka has been behaving strange lately, she has no regard for me she acts like my mother.

She stole the money for my asoebi when I asked her she said she took and even gave me a slap on top of it.

Tomorrow is the committee of friends

 meeting and I haven't been able to buy the asoebi yet , all the farm lands remaining have been claimed by those I owe money.

I will be going to my friend chidinma to beg her for money lest I become a total disgrace tommorow.

Amaka's POV

I really hate and detest that woman that calls herself my mother she's my worst nightmare.

I slept in uche's (my boyfriend )house yesterday I need to go home today and get some food and provisions.

I told him I was going home to get some provisions since, he has no money ,

he thanked me ,he escorted me to the road .

When I got home I didn't meet my mother and father at home.

I went into the kitchen it was empty , 

there is no food I went into the store and it's empty..

I got angry went into her room after series of searching I couldn't find any money .

I got angry and started scattering her clothes I took the ones that weren't won out and looked really

new. 

And left the less expensive clothes ,I took the clothes to the market and asked a woman who sells second hand clothes .

I gave all the clothes to her she said she would only pay fifty thousand naira for them.

I got very angry I had no option than to collect it from her. 

I was expecting nothing less than one hundred and fifty thousand naira,but I got only fifty thousand naira.

 I will make her feel pains her clothes couldn't even get me the money I was expecting what a useless mother she is.

I went home they weren't still back,I went into their room packed all her clothes and left only one .

I took the rest outside and threw them in the compound and brought kerosine poured on it and took the match box took on it and set the clothes on fire  🔥

Nnenna's POV

Wow the food we ate is really yummy and delicious,and expensive a plate is

for five thousand naira that alone and juice for two thousand naira.

After we were done aunt Belinda gave the waiter her debit card he removed the money and gave the card back to her.

Belinda's POV

The food sold here is probably one of the best, we paid fourteen thousand naira in total for everything, not really expensive though.

We started heading out of the restaurant,

 when a guy stopped me,his standing close to a car . 

He moved closer to us 

He said:. 

Hi beautiful how are you doing??.

I'm fine and you

I'm mediately I saw you I fell in love with you ,

Belinda... here we go again another one. I'm the owner of this car hmmm you sure🙄🙄🙄😏😏  and the CEO of Brighton companies. 

Oga who ask you???🤣😂😂🤣🤣

He was still talking when a woman screamed at his ,driver come here , come and drive me home

I almost busted into laughter but I held it , to avoid causing him more embarrassment.

Nnenna was already in laughter , when I saw her laughing I couldn't hold it anymore,I busted into laughter ,😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂

I waved at the guy and said: bye mister car owner. 

Nnenna was looking at me with pleading eyes even other who overheard our conversation were also laughing .

We got into our car after giving the gatekeeper the card he gave to us.

 while we were going inside we drove out and started heading to the mall, it's would be a thirty minutes drive.

Nnenna's POV

I pity that young man for embarrassing himself like that due to his show off with what isn't his,

 I pray he doesn't get sacked by his madam.

Car owner indeed,I didn't even know I said that loud until aunt Belinda started  laughing .

 She said that isn't the first time she has encountered guys like him faking their life style ,wealth just to be with her but she's a guru in detecting fakes🤣🤣🤣🤣

Today's lesson don't try to be who you are not to please anyone being genuine pays.
