Belinda's POV

We were given gifts both  the winners and those who lost received

 ( trousers and hoodies) matching outfits but the overall winners were given two  tickets to watch a movie and for a treat  :

 forever yours. Which is airing tommorow at the cinema in the amusement park.

I felt really bad for living Nnenna alone and sticking to a stranger I would apologize to her ,

I left the stage after the competition was over ,I collected Kevin's phone number .

I met her talking to a girl I called her , she hugged me the girl greeted me and Nnenna introduced me to her and her to me.

The girl's name who I found out to be Rhea , 

her phone rang she excused her and told us she has to get going , 

her parents were waiting for her after exchanging numbers she left.

After she left , I apologized to Nnenna, she said it's okay since I had fun and am happy 😀😁. 

I told her we should go grab some snacks since we are hungry . 

On our way , Nnenna asked me if  she could ask me a question , 

I said yes she asked me why I was so Free with that guy, I said no

 and point of correction he isn't that guy his name is Kevin and I don't know him

 I've only seen him once, but this is the first time I've spoken to him. 

Her countenance ( facial expression) change she asked me why I  was so Free with someone I barely knew ,I was getting angry: 

hey Nnenna shut your mouth okay it's my life and I don't even know you and

 I'm free with you not to talk of him  not your don't stick your mouth in my business 

you are not my mom okay so stay within your limits you fool 😪🤤🤤😥.

Nnenna's POV

I asked aunt Belinda about the guy she said she doesn't know him,

 I was surprised ,I asked why she would be free with a total stranger a guy at that,

 she told me to mind my business since I am also a total stranger to her I should mind my business, since I'm not her mom, 

I apologized to her and said I was only concerned about you because

 I don't like seeing my loved ones in pain but I'm sorry if you are upset 

I know I might be a stranger to you but I care about you I'm sorry.

I'm really sorry I was already in tears I cry easily I'm way too emotional. 

Belinda's POV

I was really upset , I realized I said hurtful things to Nnenna ,

 instead of getting angry she apologized to me , 

she was already in tears , I even called her a stranger and a nobody,

 I held her hand and said: 

I'm really sorry Nnenna I was just overwhelmed by my emotions ,

I'm really sorry please forgive me I was crying also I know all 

Nnenna has gone through and I still made her feel rejected ,

 i don't know what came over me thank you for the advice

 she smiled and said it's okay since am older than her it doesn't matter when I scold her . 

She hugged me and I was surprised as well we got to the cafeteria 

we ordered for  two ice creams and two hamburgers after we collected it

 we sat down and ate it after eating it , I asked Nnenna if she has ever had a boyfriend , 

she said no ,I was surprised because it seems like the latest trend this day she would turn seventeen this year, 

She said she wasn't interested in s

dating until she's an adult and fully prepared for that .

 I told her that a really good decision she has made and I pray it works for her ,

we left the cafeteria and head to the playground .

 We got on the roller coaster ,

though it seems pretty frightening at first we got used to it and enjoyed the fun.

😶😶😶😶The village

Amaka's POV 

When I got to ozioma house , I explained everything to them and also told them ,

 how uche responded , 

After that I told them I am worried Because I haven't seen my period

 they looked worried too and asked if I was pregnant, 

I felt really angry because why would they talk of something, they said sorry they were just joking.

 I'mmediately I started feeling dizzy and my head ached badly .

 They took me inside and told me to have some rest . 

Ozioma's POV

I think something is wrong with Amaka , 

I just pray she hasn't gotten pregnant,  Because the outcome won't be funny, she broke up with him .

Back to the will Smith's household

Belinda's POV

After thirty minutes we decided to leave . It was already six o'clock PM by then and we were tired . 

We got into the car and left the park   .

We got home at about seven o'clock PM . Mom was already back , we greeted her  she hugged us .

she looked angry she asked me to check my phone I did I saw about ten missed calls from her .

 I apologized she said it was okay , she was really worried about us most especially Nnenna.

Since it's her first time out she didn't want her to stay out late.

 she told us to quickly freshen up and come have dinner after 

which we will show her what we bought and

 tell her stories of how our adventures.

Thirty minutes later 😉😉

We all are seated in the  dinning room having dinner 

it's prepared by mom she made pounded yam and egusi soup with beef . It's really delicious. 

We were all seated in the sitting room  narrating everything that happened. We also told her about the woman we saw on the road , 

she was really happy that I put a smile on someone's face 

she said she proud of me and would love to see her. Leaving out Kevin's part ,

I know she might not allow me out the house tommorow so I'll tell her I'm going to see a friend.

After saying our night prayers we went to bed . 

Mom is in her home office she's working on some files for the company.

  on our way I told Nnenna not to mention anything about Kevin to mom . 

She said ok, she went to her room and I went to mine .

 I'mmediately I got to my room, I locked my door and I decided to call Kevin . 

He picked at the third ring . 

" Hello please who's this

"" It's me Belinda 

Who's Belinda ?

The girl from the amusement park 

Ok I'm sorry I forgot your name how are you. 

 I'm fine I was about calling you before you called anyways where do we meet tommorow

 we should meet at the park okay have a wonderful night thanks and you too.

After calling him I went downstairs to meet mom.

 I told her I'll be going out to see my best friend Melinda and we'll be going to see a movie and I won't be going to the office tommorow she said okay.

I went back to my room turned off the lights and slept off.

Back to the village

Chioma's POV

I managed to find a wrapper and lace and shoe ,

 I decided I'll be wearing it to the meeting tomorrow but whenever

 Amaka comes back to the house she would be so sorry for what she has done.

Amaka's POV 

I woke up by 1: 00 PM I couldn't sleep and I was feeling nauseous,

 I went to the toilet I threw only to turn and find ozioma and chinenye staring at me.

 They asked me what wrong with me I told them I was feeling feverish ,they said they would take me to the hospital to get a pregnancy test done . 

I told them I am not pregnant they only responded and said we'll find out tommorow.

They told me to sleep and not think too much . 

I pretended to be asleep after I found out that they were asleep

 I woke up I didn't even know my face was soaked in tears until my hands touched my face.

I didn't even know when I slept off.

WILL SMITH'S HOUSEHOLD

Mrs Williams Smith

I was done with my work at about 2:00am. 

I won't be going to the office I'll be home with Nnenna 

 I went to check on the kids in their rooms they were both asleep

 I pecked their cheeks and left. 

I went into my room changed into my PJs ( pyjamas) and slept.

Nnenna's POV

I wasn't asleep when mom came in I just had to pretend to be asleep .

 After she left I was just reminiscing on all that happened today I was so scared , I was thinking of the new friend I made and also about chisom.

 of what aunt Belinda is getting her self into , 

after several thoughts I prayed and asked God to please protect us all and also protect chisom from evil hands

 And also direct aunt Belinda on the right thing to do.

Next morning

Amaka's POV

After we woke up we got ready ,

 I'mmediately I felt nauseous and threw up for the third time this morning.

 ozioma offered me her clothes since I didn't bring mine.  and started with the preparations , 

we we're done at about six o'clock am we started going to the hospital

 we reached at about seven o'clock am we met the nurse and told her she's chinenye's cousin 

so she told us not to worry it'll be out before 9: o'clock.

 Nnenna was just pacing around her face was gloomy. 

The nurse called me inside and collected the specimen she told me to go wait outside.

Belinda's POV

I woke up at about eight o'clock am ,

 I was shocked I guess it was because of yesterday I hurriedly went downstairs mom might have gone to work ,

I got to the kitchen it was very neat the whole house also very clean I wondered who did the chores?

 I decided to check on Nnenna I checked her room but she wasn't in .

Nnenna's POV

I woke up by 5; o'clock am after praying ,

I went downstairs and started to do the house chores by eight o'clock I was done,

 I haven't seen mom this morning. 

Aunt Belinda came inside the compound and met me she asked me who cleaned up the place 

I told her I'm the one she apologized for sleeping for long and leaving me to do everything I told her it's not a problem.

 I went upstairs to take my bath and aunt Belinda also went to do the same.

Back in the village

Amaka's POV

The nurse brought the result and gave it to me.  

After that i gave it to my friends and told them to open it and tell me if it's positive or negative . 

When they read it their faces where filled with shock. 

They told me  it's positive  

  You are pregnant.

 I started  crying they told me not to bring attention to us , 

those people who heard only shook their head they dragged me up and we left the hospital.

 I was still in tears I looked like someone who lost her loved one.

We got back to the house , 

I was still cryingthey  told me stop and decide on what to do  I told I'll have to tell uche, 

they reminded me that I broke up with him yesterday and might not accept it . 

They told me to rest for a while ,they suggested I tell my mom

 I told them I couldn't because of what I did with her clothes yesterday.

Chioma's POV

I got to the meeting premises I saw a different thing entirely lots of people were present and I was the worst dressed.

 I'mmediately I entered the place erupted with laughter I felt ashamed .

 I was even called to give a speech at the end I was just insulted . 

I was humiliated , when the food was shared I was passed as if  I wasn't in existence.

At the end of the meeting chidinma called me and asked why I was dressed like a mad woman .

I told her what Amaka did to my clothes , 

she only laughed she said I was reaping what I sowed ,

 I had chased my niece and now my daughter is against me .

 She gave me one of the takeaways she had and a drink .

she insulted me for being a shame to motherhood I got angry and was about to leave when 

she said I should give her the food back if I am indeed angry with her.

 I apologized to her and left.

Amaka's POV

I told my friends I'll be back soon ,I went straight to uche's house I got there he saw me and started laughing.

Are you here to apologise ?I'm sorry I won't accept you back okay 😪😪😪😥 I came to tell you I'm pregnant 

For who you must stupid you got pregnant and you want to dump it on me right I don't know who got you pregnant go back to the person okay.

 I'm not the father of the imbecile in your womb or better still get rid of it.

I got angry and slapped him this is your baby and you must accept this baby okay

 he just laughed went inside and shut the door.

Uche's POV

This is what I was scared of she's pregnant what do I do now ,

 I have to leave this village today and warm my family not to tell anyone of my whereabouts.

Amaka's POV

I have to go home and tell my mom and set things right this is the reward for  maltreating my cousin.

 It's time for a change.

 she my only hope. I got to the house open the gate ,

I have my own key I got to the sitting room and met my mom . 

I greeted her she was in tears I asked her what happened ,

 she slapped me and said I was the cause of the humiliation she faced today .

 she started beating me she hit my stomach I felt severe pains the only thing I could say was my baby and I passed out.

Chioma's POV 

I was angry when I saw Amaka I started to beat her, when I hit her stomach.

 she said something like her baby I looked at her legs and saw blood I was shocked I started shouting for help.

Mrs Williams POV

I woke up at about ten o'clock, I was surprised I slept for so long ,

 I brushed my teeth teeth and bathed and dressed up.

I got to the sitting room , everywhere was already clean but Nnenna and Belinda weren't downstairs .

I sat on the couch , I decided to go to the kitchen and make breakfast since I was in the kitchen.

I made oatmeal, cookies and cream cheese,with some bread and fried eggs.

I brought it to the dinning arranged it on the table,I went upstairs to call Nnenna and Belinda.

Back to the village

Chioma's POV

After Amaka passed out her father came back to the house almost I'mmediately , 

he saw her laying on the floor bleeding I'mmediately  

he called his friend who has a tricycle ( Keke) he came we took amaka into the vehicle and he drove us to the hospital. 

I'mmediately we got there the nurses rushed to us and took her into the hospital .

She was taking to the operating theatre.

 Her father began to ask me questions I was in tears I told him everything ,

 I told him that Amaka is pregnant but she might have a miscarriage due to the beating she received from me.

 He shook his head and said we are paying for our sins .

 The nurse came towards our direction and said she is in a very critical condition and Might loose her life or the baby . 

WILL SMITH'S HOUSEHOLD

 Belinda's POV

We were done having breakfast ,I was surprised when I saw Mom at home ,

 she also told us she won't be going to the office today , 

I was happy and sad at the same time , 

I pray she doesn't find out I'm going to see a guy .

After that mom told us we will be exercising in the gym today . 

We went upstairs changed into sports outfits then head straight to the gym downstairs.

After exercising for thirty minutes we went inside and took our bath. 

 four o'clock PM 

Belinda's POV

I was already getting ready for the date with Kevin

 I wore a multicolored floral off shouldered gown the length stopped at my knee  I did my makeup,

I wore silver heels and a silver hand bag and I was ready to go.

  I went downstairs and met mom and Nnenna they said 

I look so gorgeous I said thank you I was about to leave 

when mom told me to make sure I'm back before seven o'clock PM.

I said Okay and left,

Kevin's POV

I don't really know what's wrong with some girls throwing themselves

  on guys I'm not interested in Belinda or whatever her name is ,

 I actually was interested in the girl she was with but I couldn't even

 Talk to her because of Belinda and I'm going to be stuck up with her during the movie

 I don't blame her girls are always drooling over me. 

I was done getting ready I wore a white shirt black leather jacket black jeans trousers and white sneakers.

 I got ready took my car keys and left.

I called Belinda and asked her if she is on her way .

I arrived the amusement park at about four thirty PM, 

I called Belinda and told her I was there already I asked her if she was there already I told her am in the cafeteria.

 Few minutes later I felt a light tap on my shoulders I turned and it was Belinda I hugged her and she reciprocated. 

I told her we should grab some snacks in the cafeteria before the movie kicks off.

We ordered pepperoni pizza and juice after eating it was already 10 minutes till the movie starts we grabbed our popcorn

 and head to the cinema we gave the security our tickets and went inside .

Back to the village

Emeka's POV

I wonder when chioma would learn her lesson because of her

 wickedness Amaka's life is in danger 

I pray she survives this ,

 she might end up being responsible for killing her first grandchild  .

Chioma's POV

I can't believe I have put the life of my   

daughter and my first grandchild in danger .

I pray she survives this I'll turn a new leaf .

Doctor's POV

It's a great miracle that we have been able to save both mother and child it's really the wonderful work of God. 

The girl is still unconscious , just four weeks pregnancy almost got terminated , 

but thank God the foetus wasn't hurt. 

Chisom's POV ( Nnenna's friend)

It's been long since I heard from Nnenna I've tried to reach her but my efforts have failed

 I asked Amaka she only said she left the house because she stole , but the Nnenna I know isn't a thief.

I pray to get in contact with her someday. 

Chisom's mother's POV

I really am grateful to God for blessing me with a child like chisom.

 Even though I'm not her biological mother,

 she deserves to know the truth, but I have to wait for the right  time to do so .

Chioma's POV

The doctor came to us and told us that they were able to save Amaka and her baby ,

I felt relieved that I won't have the blood of another person on my hands

 after killing my sister and her husband and making Nnenna their daughter homeless .

The doctor said she's still unconscious , she won't need disturbance.

We were asked to pay a hundred thousand naira ,

I was shocked where would I get such an amount 

, Emeka said I shouldn't worry he went home brought the money and paid ,

 I asked him how he got the money he said it his brother gave it to him

 when he went to see him few months ago.

Back to the Williams Smith household

Mrs Smith POV

I and Nnenna were together in the sitting room getting to know each other better .

I told her everything  about me , I told her my full name Elizabeth Williams Smith .

I asked her what she would like to study in the university she said   medicine she said 

she has always dreamt of being a medical doctor and having a very big hospital with the name of her late parents .

 I said okay she will be enrolled in the university once school resumes

 she also told me her birthday is in the next two months.

 We were still talking when my phone started to ring .  

I picked the call 

I heard a woman's voice  

After the call I sent her our house address and told her to come over tomorrow.

It was the woman Belinda told me about her voice sounds familiar but

 I can't remember where I've heard it from but I'll get to know tommorow.

After that I received a call from my friend Cynthia , 

she said she's outside

my gate I went outside opened the gate after 

Nnenna went to the kitchen to prepare some food.

She drove into the compound a girl was with her we went into the sitting room

 she introduced the girl to me as her niece .

 The girl greeted me politely I hugged her after hugging Cynthia.

Nnenna came into the sitting room she greeted my friend Cynthia

 she looked surprised to see Cynthia's niece and

 Cynthia niece was also surprised to see her . 

They called each other Rhea ! Nnenna! We were shocked ,

we asked them how they knew each other ,

they explained to us they met in the amusement park yesterday .

Nnenna excused herself to go and continue preparing the food , 

Rhea asked if she could join Nnenna in the kitchen I said yes .

They went into the kitchen and we were talking , 

Cynthia asked after  Belinda I told her she went to see a friend .

Few minutes later they said the food was ready.

We sat down in the dinning to eat they prepared yam and egg sauce it was really delicious . 

After we were done eating Rhea followed Nnenna upstairs to her room.

Belinda's POV

When the movie was finally over I was in tears it was about a guy and a girl

who hated each other but ended up falling in love with each other even though their families tried to separate them they made their families see reasons why they should be together.

At last they fought through everything and finally got married and lived happily ever after.

It was already 6: 00 PM, Kevin told me we should sit for some Time and get to know each other .

Mrs Elizabeth Smith's POV

After sometime Cynthia left with Rhea , 

after we spent some time together ,

my stay at home today is worth it.

 It's already seven o'clock PM and she isn't yet back.

I should call Melinda , I called she picked I'mmediately hello Melinda how are you,  Please tell Belinda to come home I'mmediately

I'm fine ma'am but

Ma'am Belinda isn't with me

Ok thank you.

So Belinda lied to me where did she go to !  

She has explanations to give when she comes back.
