Belinda's POV

My phone was on silent mode throughout the movie after I was done talking to Kevin ,

I checked my phone only to see fifteen missed calls from mom and  ten from Nnenna.

it's was already seven o'clock and mom warned me to make sure I'm back home before seven 

 I was in shock because the last time this happened.

 I was in trouble with Mom and she didn't take it easy on me.

she was beyond angry with me.

I don't have to worry about that cause Kevin made me really happy . 

I got into my car and started heading home.

Nnenna's POV

I didn't expect mom to find out , 

I wasn't even in the sitting room when she called Aunt Belinda's friend and 

 I didn't even know she lied to mom about going you visit her friend . 

I even called her but she didn't pick up the phone.

I just pray she doesn't get into trouble she might end up feeling I betrayed her by telling Mom.

Mrs Elizabeth Williams Smith

I wonder what has come over Belinda that made her lie to me

 she might have gone to see a guy but why didn't she let me know what if she gets hurt . 

I really don't like what she did but she has to give me reasons that made her lie to me.

Belinda's POV

I arrived home at about eight o'clock due to the traffic congestion . 

I wasn't that scared until I drove into the compound .

 I knocked on the door and I saw Mom looking at me furiously .

She looked at me and sighed she hugged me , Nnenna did the same .

She asked me where I went to

I told her I went to see Melinda 

She asked me why I came back late and exceeded the time she gave me.

Mrs Elizabeth Smith's POV

Belinda even has the guts to lie to my face saying she went to see Melinda ,

 maybe she doesn't know that her lies have been exposed.

Belinda how dare you lie to me you didn't go to visit Melinda ,

I called her and she said you weren't with her so tell me the truth where did you go to ??

 I was surprised Belinda went close to Nnenna and gave her a slap

 so you decided to have your revenge because I  insulted you yesterday you decided to backstab me ,

 you told her I went to see Kevin or are you jealous that he likes me and not you so sorry for you.

 and cause a rift between my mom and I because you are motherless .

I didn't know when I slapped Belinda how dare you, 

 why would you do that to her is it because she stays in this house ,

 you insulted her yesterday but she didn't even tell me

 yet you are insulting her was it right  to lie to me

You are even teaching her how to lie  

Nnenna's POV

I don't even know what aunt Belinda Is talking about I tried calling her to let her know but

 she didn't pick up the phone,

 now she's calling me names and blaming me for what I know nothing about.

I tried explaining but she didn't even listen .

Belinda's POV

Mom I'm sorry for lying to you please forgive me I went to see  a guy

 I met him at the amusement park, mom I like him and he likes me too

 don't let this jealous fool come in between us .

Mrs Elizabeth's POV

Can you imagine what Belinda is saying !! 

You met a guy a day ago and you like him . 

I can see you are not okay something is wrong with your head .

Belinda apologize to Nnenna right now or else I will do what you will regret 

Belinda's POV

I won't apologize to her , 

before I knew it my cheeks were hurting

 I received three slaps from mom I was beyond angry and shocked

 I got slapped several times because of her you will pay for this Nnenna.

no wonder her family rejected her.

Nnenna's POV

Why do bad things keep happening to me where have I gone wrong .

After finding happiness after series of misfortune then

 I'm still facing more complications ,

 mom let aunt Belinda be am okay don't worry about me.

Excuse me with that I went upstairs to my room

Mrs Elizabeth Smith's POV

I feel really bad if Belinda continues this way ,

she would make Nnenna feel rejected I don't want that to happen.

Belinda go upstairs we'll talk about this tomorrow .

Belinda's POV

I need to talk to Melinda , and find out if mom really called her.

I called her, she picked after few rings hello Melinda how are you??

did my mom call you? 

Melinda's POV

Am fine! Yes she did

I don't know why Belinda lied to her mom,

 she didn't even let me know I would have at least covered up for her .

I realized that Belinda lied  due to the way her mom was speaking .

 It was already too late to save her.

You have to apologise to mom and also to the young girl.

 you were too harsh and disrespectful.

 I didn't cover up for you because I didn't even know and since 

when did you start lying to mom!!

 because of a guy you barely know be careful .

 You met him a day ago and he is your boyfriend you are not okay I'll come over tomorrow.

I told her that after she narrated the whole thing to me. 

She sounded remorseful and said was gonna do so.

Belinda's POV

I felt so bad after talking to Melinda , I a was wrong after all , 

today is filled with happiness and sadness first

 Kevin told me he loves me and it was since the first time

 he saw me and he asked me to be his girlfriend and

 I accepted and then I made my mom angry and Nnenna sad. 

I have to make amends ,sooner the better .

Mrs Elizabeth POV

I don't like this happening ,

I pray Belinda comes back to her senses before tommorow

I said my prayers after that I called the general manager 

Hello you will have to take care of everything tommorow I will not be in the office thank you

.

The woman Belinda told me about will be coming tommorow,

 I have to see her and then I have to sort out the issue on ground.

Nnenna's POV

After going into my room I said my prayers

 I also prayed about this problem .

I laid down to sleep .

Belinda's POV 

Kevin called me almost I'mmediately after I was done talking to Melinda ,

 after speaking to him I prayed and slept off.

Mrs Elizabeth Smith's POV

I went into Nnenna room she was already asleep ,

I pecked her cheeks covered her properly prayed for her, and left the room.

I also went to Belinda's prayed for her pecked her cheeks covered her properly and went into my room and slept off.

Chioma's POV

Amaka hasn't regained consciousness ,

 I've been praying all through I really want to make things right , 

I pray I would be able to find Nnenna I'm tired of my lifestyle.

 We are all seated in the ward with Amaka,

 I saw her fingers moved and in no time she opened her eyes .

I was so happy I screamed and called the doctor her father was also very happy.

  she opened her mouth to talk , I told not to say anything , 

the doctor checked on her and said everything is fine since 

she has regained consciousness and 

she would be discharged in the evening .

Chisom's mother's POV

I don't really know what's happening, the dream I had I saw chisom going away from me , 

Chisom also has such dreams whenever she tells me I tell her it's just a nightmare ,

 I don't want her to get hurt when she finds out that I'm not her biological mother.

I don't know if her biological mother is in search of her right but I pray for  the best . 

Ozioma's POV (Amaka's friend)

Ever since Amaka left us we haven't seen her , 

we even went to her house but it was locked I just pray that she's fine .

 the rumors I heard that Amaka's

mother killed her .

I don't want to believe that until I hear from a member of their family.

Chinenye's POV

 I pray that Amaka is fine , when I and ozioma had gone to check on Amaka rumors were all over the place that

 Amaka's mother killed her but I don't want to believe that because her mother loves her alot .

Chisom's POV

I have always had this dreams, a certain woman keep on calling me to come but , 

I don't know who she is whenever I tell my mother she tells me that they are just nightmares .

 I've decided to wave such strange thought .

WILL SMITH'S HOUSEHOLD

Belinda's POV

I woke up pretty late today I think it's due to the fact that I made lots  of trouble yesterday , 

I said my prayers removed my clothes tied my towel and went into the bathroom to bath and brush my teeth,

 after that I came in to the room dried my body applied my lotion and,

 put on a pink jumpsuit did my hair wore my flip flops ,

and started going downstairs it's time to make amends and do the right thing.

I got downstairs met mom and Belinda sitting together on the same couch,

 I'mmediately Belinda saw me she stood up and was about to seat on a different couch.

 I told her not to worry I knelt down they looked surprised I started to plead with  them. 

Mom I'm really sorry for what I did yesterday please forgive me it won't happen again I'm sorry for lying to you .

She was just looking at me she didn't utter a word instead she just turned her face to the television

Nnenna I'm sorry for insulting you and your parents please forgive me am really sorry Nnenna .

Nnenna told me she has no grudge against me because her mother told  her to always be ready to forgive ,

 Because to err is human but to forgive is divine she hugged me and said am older and it's not bad to scold her . 

Mom was already smiling when we looked at her she turned her face and frowned

Nnenna turned to mom and said mom aunt Belinda is sorry please forgive her . 

Mom said okay and hugged me she told me to stand up .

Nnenna also joined the hugged and we smiled and clicked a selfie .

After we took pictures my phone rang I checked and it was Melinda I forgot to tell them she's coming over ,

I picked the call hello Melinda , 

how are you she said she's at the gate I'm coming . 

Mom Melinda is at the gate , mom said; go and bring her in .

I'm really happy Belinda is back to her senses ,

I just needed to act like I was angry I'm so happy they are in good terms with Nnenna , 

she such a wonderful girl her mother really did inculcate good values in her .

Belinda came inside with Melinda, I'mmediately 

Melinda saw me she hugged me, she said; mom am happy to see you 

I've known her ever since she's was little and she's all grown now she's Cynthia's daughter .

We sat down mom I hope Belinda isn't troubling you yes she isn't my dear . 

After that Nnenna came to the sitting room and greeted Melinda she hugged Nnenna ,

 Melinda is so jovial and free spirited .

I excused myself and told Nnenna to come with me to give the friends some space .

We went into my room , 

Nnenna was telling me about the only friend she had in the village and how she misses her so much ,

I told her that we would go to see her when I'm less busy. She was so happy . 

Belinda's POV

I was narrating the whole incident of how I met Kevin , 

she just looked on surprised she told me to be careful to avoid being heartbroken and too make sure he isn't toying with my feelings .

 I said okay I served her juice and some cookies few hours later

 she said she has to leave we saw Mom and Nnenna coming downstairs 

She told mom 

she wants to take her leave .

mom said okay took her purse and gave her five thousand naira to buy somethings for herself and Rhea .

 she collected said thank you hugged us and left I escorted her after she drove out of the gate I came inside. 

Mom saw me and said that woman you told me about called yesterday and she is coming today .

I said okay after sometime mom's phone rang she picked it up and said the woman is here ,

 she told me to go and bring her inside I went outside and met her she came inside the compound I greeted her , 

she hugged me I asked her about her kids she said she left them with her neighbor. 

 I'mmediately we got inside I told her to seat and make her self comfortable ,

 mom and Nnenna weren't in the sitting room I excused myself and went to call mom .

 Mom came in to the sitting room I'mmediately they locked eyes

 with each other they screamed Elizabeth !!!! Melissa!!!!  simultaneously 

we were surprised they know each other 😳😳🙄🙄🙄🙄

Nnenna's POV

OMG I don't know what to say, today turned out to be be a great day .

the reconcilation and it seems mom knows this woman they know each other I pray this turns out well 

What they know each other !!
