Chapter Ten

my fingers had already travelled under his shirt. Feeling his smooth skin beneath it.he drew me closer to his frame,possessivly exploring my skin with his fingers and soon he had me wrapped around his torso as we deepened the kiss.it was as though my whole brain cells had stoppec functioning and mg mind had a mind of its own.i didn't want this burning and yet sensual kiss to end.

To me this was the best feeling and obviously the best kiss I ever had.

I woke up with a banging headache.trying to understand how and when I got to my lodge.I saw nene walking around the house like she was doing some kind of house cleaning.she spurned around , her eyes meeting mine.then I sighed

" I have headache " I muttered out.she came over to the bed handing me a bottle water and some pills

" you had a hangover last night " she replied.I stared at her in disbelief

" I never drank alcohol yesterday " 

" oh well...maybe you thought you jad a cocktail drink when you absently drank a whole glass of alcohol " nene replied rolling her eyes

" I'm the one who ordered my drink.nene.so I know what exactly I drank " I stated 

She shrugged in resignation " just have the pills already. " she said " and brush your teeth too.your morning breath stinks " 

I rolled my eyes muttering profanities at nene.then on a second thought, I used my hands to cover my mouth, then twisting my face in disgust, i realised she was right

My breath stunk badly.

After showering, I wore a blue bum shorts and a bogus white t-shirt, as I combed my hair while trying to pack it in an upfront way, then I had my edges laid. I reached out to a small glass table which was near the window. Picking up the plate of noodles and sunny sideup with it.there was a lorry packed beside one of the apartment.and a Mercedes 4 matic parked beside it.

Nene came out minutes later, dressed in a demin blue jean jumper which had suspenders attached to it.she wore a red shirt inside the jumper and a black net socks over her white canvass.she was really looking beautiful. 

" do you have lectures today?" I asked her munching on my food

" no...I have the whole day to smut around " she replied snickering as I made an irritated face 

" eww"

" we have a new neighbour.I think " nene said coming over to the window take a look 

There were three guys who came down from the Mercedes.they were all tall, while one was a little bit fair, the others were light skinned. One of the light skinned guys reminded me of someone. 

I took a minute to check him out, he wore a black trousers and a white t-shirt over a black leather jacket. He didn't look bad yet something about him made me remind myself of someone. 

I turned to nene quickly " nene I need to ask you something " 

" sure "

" how did I get home yesterday ?" I asked and she glared at me strangely 

" I met you sitting at the bar looking so slurpy duh " 

" you mean..you didn't meet me with any guy ?"

" no.why? " 

I rubbed my temples in slight confusion

" nene.there was this guy I met yesterday...and we both kissed...I"

"Are you shitting me? " nene exclaimed "who is he ? "She asked smiling

I sighed " that's the problem girl.I don't know who the fuck he is " I said and nene shook her head at me in horror

" you mean you kissed a guy you know nothing about ?" 

" I just said that didn't I ?" I replied giving her a meek look 

" cassie please. Don't gimme that look " 

" what?!...everything happened so fast and trust me, I don't even understand it anymore " I said

" did anything else happen ? "

" thankfully no. " 

" frankly cassie , if you didn't know who you kissed last night how sure are you going to know if something happened or not ?" 

" cause I know it didn't. " 

" if you say so " nene shrugged " I gotta go "

"Why don't we just say hello to our neighbors duh " 

" I thought you hated all of them " 

" I still hate them besides I'm talking about the new neighbours" I replied and she chuckled. 

" okay "

Nene and I stopped over at the guys house.the lorry was gone and now it was only the car which was parked in front of the house.

" hello " I greeted and the guys turned to me.they all looked so gorgeous and hot.turning their eyes to meet nene and I.nene suddenly felt uncomfortable. Like she immediately became so shy and I knew she wouldn't help much with the introductions 

The two guys out of the three replied

" hello"

" ummm....welcome to the neighborhood, my name is meera and this is nene " I said and the third guy froze a little.he mumbled something, then spurning round his eyes met mine.

Events of last night came flashing by.

The guy with the chocolate brown eyes 

The way he looked at me and when he talked to his friends briefly, I remembered his accent. He looked so familiar. And bits by bits, it clicked

He was the guy I made out with yesterday

" excuse me. " I called out to him and he snapped his head back at me in response

" I think i remember you...sorry I'm cassie,  the girl you met at zainab's party yesterday " I said a little bit flustered. Nene stared at me in amazement and the remaining two guys were smirking as they turned to look at their friend

While their 'friend' glared at me for reasons which I was so confused about

" so?" He asked and well, I bit my lips trying to contain my anger.

So? 

This was a two letter word , but this two letter word made me seem so useless.

" what does that mean ? "I asked and he shrugged nonchalantly

" it means. I've had a fling or more with a lot of girls and well except you are trying to frame it that something happened between us and you need money or you are pregnant.I don't see any reason why you should talk to us " he replied nonchalantly and that minute all I could feel was rage.

" you are such a beast " I retort.nene kept digging her fingers into my hands .trying to let me stop

" FYI I just came to apologize for what happened last night and just so you know.I'm not the kind of girl who makes out with strangers so random.who the fuck do you even think you are?" I say stomping out as he smirks leaving his friends to glare at him.

" he's a sucker " I tell nene as soon as we get away from there 

" it's so obvious " she agrees . Her phone beeps and she immediately turns to me

" I gotta go.I'll see you later after school okay " she said and I nod 

" take care " 

" toyo's coming over. He said I should let you know "

" why didn't he tell me directly "

" dumbass your phone is dead " she replied rolling her eyes and I flick my middle finger at her

" whatever " I mutter chuckling. 

" cassie! " nene called. I turned to her already knowing what she was going to say and yes she said it.pointing her two fingers to me she said

" see, later we will talk " 

" there's nothing to talk about nene.go to school"

" oh well, there is surely something especially the part of kissing your mr no name who turned out to be your new neigbhour " she said and I chuckle 

" Nene bye bye " I said waving her off as she smirks.
