Chapter eleven

I got to my room. Bringing out my laptop, a sheet of paper and my pen.I was supposed to work on my term paper for the semester. Just then, toyo's SUV pulled up in front of my house.

" Toyo!!!!!" I exclaimed going over to embrace him in a tight hug 

" gosh! You are looking so different " I complimented and he smirks

" in a good way right " he replied and I scoff

" excuse me joor..mr.cocky " I say smiling and he laughs. 

" don't worry.you look fatter than when we saw each other last " he retorts and I yell

" Toyo!!, just so you know. I don't mind sending you back to where you came from " I said trying to look stern

Toyo laughed as he pinched my cheeks " just look at you acting all mummy-ish " 

I slapped his hands away playfully " what did you bring back " I ask 

Well, that was how I abandoned my term paper to play call of duty with toyo, later on we watched money heist on Netflix while munching on a large pack of popcorn which he brought along.then we ate the chicken pizza and ice cream.though we made sure to cut out some for Nene. 

Toyo and I had talked about random things.he offered me a glass of cocktail which he brought along with him

" no.thank you, cocktail and I are no fun " I said and he chuckles

" you okay ?" He asked. I was leaning my head on his thighs with my legs hanging on the air.while he sat at the sofa.

" I guess " I replied and he huffed. 

" babe.I'm sorry this is apparently not the best time to talk about it but just to let you know I'm sorry about the douchebag " he said " yunno, sam...." his voice trailed off and I smiled wryly

" aww.I think I'm over him.besides I met another douche " I said digging into the last piece of pizza I held 

" seriously...douche ?" He laughed and I nodded seriously. 

" bet he has a name " toyo said after he saw that I had a serious look on 

" honestly I still don't know his name "

" fuck !" Toyo exclaimed this time laughing out aloud 

" toyo..." I whined " you think this is funny ?" 

" yes...honestly babe, how did you meet this guy ? " 

" well, at zainab's party. We met, danced together and ended up making out " 

" and you still don't know his name " 

" truly " I replied and toyo face-palmed himself as he laughs 

" c'mon now " I whined stuffing a handful of popcorn into toyo's mouth to stop him from laughing

" cassie, I'm not gonna judge you honestly. But it's pretty crazy to make out with a total stranger " 

" well, stranger isn't that of a stranger anymore "

" details please " toyo said and I adjust my sitting position to face him

" he's my new neigbhour and that way I get to know him " I say and he shrugs

" how much did Sam's break up affect you ?" 

" toyo stop.you're going to annoy me now." 

" seriously cassie I'm not trying to judge.so don't get it wrong " he said and i threw him my pillow

" I hope you tell Cecee not to get it wrong when she catches you calling me 'babe' " I say and he gives a deep laugh 

" Cecee is cool tho " 

" yeah....say that to a new born baby " I reply rolling my eyes. And he chuckles. 

Toyo and I sit quietly beside each other and slowly I drift off to sleep in his warmth.

I'm sorry is a magic word and it definitely breaks certain walls that shouldn't have been broken at first

" seriously. You acted like a prick " toby said for the umpteenth time

" I know.I shouldn't have said such but guys na...I don't wanna get attached to any girl joor " I defended myself for the umpteenth time

" see, I know myself. I mess up alot but trust me when I see a good girl I don't think I'll ever fuck it up " Efe replied

" okay how do you know she's good ?" I asked him 

" for her to walk up to you and apologize for making out with you and all those...do you think she's messed up.I mean look at her alone.she's beautiful, curvy and damn did you see her legs in those bum.." Efe replied and I laughed

" you are sick dude " i said.

" seriously. Every girl likes throwing themselves at you and here she is apologizing for making that move " 

" do you guys really think she's okay...I mean she's Sam's girlfriend?" I said and they pause for awhile before Efe broke the silence

" who the fuck cares.besides they broke up and she's single. " 

I rubbed my temples gently " whatever "

" see.man just be a gentleman and apologize to the babe okay.no one os telling you to shoot your shot though, don't be surprised when she's taken " toby replies winking at me and I snort 

" suit yourself " 

" just apologize to her man " Efe says coming over to me."

I groan angrily. Why the fuck do they care .I didn't want to have anything to do with her and I didn't want them to make me get involve with her.she was beautiful, smart.and I knew that fact from being close to sam.

My mind wandered off to the party. When she teased me with her lips.fuck.she tasted so good and even though i wanted to badly get it done.I knew I just had to control my pants. Seeing that she was a little bit tipsy. So I left her at the bar, where I met her.and I pretended not to care. Still i had to make sure she was safe.so when I saw her friend who she introduced earlier as Nene help her out.I knew she was okay 

But somehow, I couldn't get her off my mind.and then she shows up at my doorsteps wearing a blue bum that exposed her thighs and her t-shirt which absently covered her rounded butts.I found myself chuckling at her image when she called me a beast.and gosh why didn't she just spell out for your information instead of saying FYI it sounded so funny to me. 

Something in me craved to see her again anyway and just this once maybe I'd never show up at her doorsteps. Before I could come to the realization of what the hell I was doing, I found my hands knocking at her door.

The door flew open and there she stood.mouth agape as she stares at me in disbelief. Then suddenly she slams the door at my face.

Well, I deserve that.I thought and spurn around to walk away when the door flew open again

" what the fuck are you here for ?"she asks sassily. Leaning on the door with her arms wrapped around her bosom

" can I come in ? "I ask and she rolls her eyes

"What for?"

I shrugged "dunno.new neighbors though " I said. She glares at me for a while before letting me in.

Just as I was about to step in.her fingers holds me up at the door

"Not so fast. Mr stranger. Do you care to tell me your name?" She asks and I smirk 

" c'mon Cassie" I groan and she raises one of her eyebrows at me 

" yes stranger " she replied snickering and I raise my hands in mock surrender

" my name is Jeremy " I said and her fingers drop down slowly.making me gulp as my eyes travelled down to her thighs and here she was again putting on the fucking bum shorts

" oh well.stranger Jeremy " she replied smirking and I face palm myself

" urrrgh " 

" anyway, why are you here ?" She asks again 

Yes.why the fuck am I here ?

" umm.I'm....I'm sorry Cassie " I replied kinda suprised at myself that i had just apologized to her.

She was titling her head to one side, making her look hotter.as she bit her lips

" so?" She asked nonchalantly and I graoned

" so??"

" yeah you heard me right.don't tell me you were on your period when I met you this morning " she said and i huffed 

" I'm serious cassie, I know I said things I shouldn't have and I'm sorry " I said and she scoffed

" geez.guys! Okay " she said again 

" so am I forgiven ?" I ask and she rolls her eyes

" well, maybe I don't have a choice " she replied. We stood close to each other and frankly, I could hear our heartbeats. 

I grinned " so neighbors!?" I ask and she smiled.showing off her dimples which I had just noticed. Gosh she was beautiful

" neighbours" she replied.
