Chapter twelve

Few hours gone and we had already talked about some random things. Though I got to let her know that the guys don't live with me and I'm a medical student, well she was a psychology student and apparently we both were in our year two.

" Jeremy. " she called and i raised up my face to meet hers when she asked

" yup" I answered

" at the party yesterday...." she started snd I huff

" can we not talk about the party ?" I tell her

" why!? Do you regret what happened between us ?" 

" frankly, it wasn't a big deal to me cassie "

She sighs " maybe to you."

" I'm sorry" I apologize again 

And why the fuck do I keep apologizing to her?

She smiles " why are you that sorry " 

I smirk " trust me.you don't wanna know " I said .

She smiles again, standing up with me

" I'll be going " I tell her 

" umm.it was nice of you to come over"

" well, we are friends now right " I ask and she grins 

" yeah...friends " 

I open the door to leave and then bump into the least person I expected to see.

" hi to..."

"....what the fuck are you doing here ?" He growls and I shrug

" calm down dude.I'm just here to apologize "

" it's a good thing you gotta find your way back before I met you " he replied still growling and I chuckle

" do you two know each other? " cassie asked

"Yes"

"No" toyo replied glaring hard at me and I snort.turning to a befuddled cassie

" see you later amore " I said winking at her as she waves.

Okay.Jeremy calling at my house today was totally unexpected. He acted all friendly like we were friends who had a little fight and we were over it already. 

Guys were some species I just couldn't understand. One minute they acted sweet and the next minute they were growling and behaving like asses.who knew how to play their role perfectly 

And that reminds me of toyo.he had stepped out earlier when I had fallen asleep to get something. And meeting Jeremy at the door was certainly not a welcoming sight to him.though I wondered why

" what the fuck was that ?" Toyo asked and I turned to glare at him

"No you are the one who is supposed to answer that " I tell him and he sighs rubbing his temples

"Cassie how did you know Jeremy? " 

I huff " Jeremy is the stranger I met at zainab's party. " I explained " but then toyo.how did you know his name is Jeremy and what was the whole drama outside about ?" I ask peering at him

Toyo sighs and pops his butts on the chair as he replied

" nothing. I was just making sure you are safe "

" but he sounded like he knew you toyo " I said not satisfied about his reply 

" maybe he just saw me and he concluded that. " toyo replied

" I..don't..." I started in doubt 

" Cassie! Can we forget about this topic.I wanna sleep " he cuts me short and I huff

" if you wanna sleep then get your ass to your house durh " I said using a pillow to hit him .he grinned and soon enough he had started sleeping. Already. 

Toyo's phone rang up and I picked it up. He was asleep and I didn't want to wake him.yet the caller I.d read "private" and I decided not to answer the phone.instead I put it on airplane mode. Even though I wanted to be curious, as to know why that number called. I allowed my instincts to take a better part of me.

By rebuking me for having such thoughts of sneaking into someone's phone.so I quickly put it away and left off to continue a term paper which I doubt I'd ever complete it today.

I sat in the lecture hall together with Nene.we had combined lectures today and obviously, the hall was crowded. Thankfully, I got to seat at a good spot.which was neither in front or at the back of the hall.

The lecturer, mr.Oswagu. wasn't yet in class.nene kept whining about not eating this morning before coming out. 

" Nene stop nau.is it my fault?" I asked eyeing her as she hisses

" you have mind to ask me that Abi? Don't you know as a good girl which I know you are. You are supposed to bring out food for your baby " she said. One minute glaring at me and another minute pouting. 

I laughed so hard " get away from me joor.you as a mindful student which I know you are.you are supposed to know breakfast is the most important meal for one.especially a student" I say sneering and she sighs

" madam lecturer...after this class, let's go to sammy's and grab something to eat " she said and I shrugged

" did you see toyo today ? " I asked and she shrugged

" he sent me a text.saying we should keep seat for him though " 

" aww why is he late though " I said to no one in particular. 

Just then toyo had barged into the class.

" baby mama's !!!! "He yelled. Making everyone to turn to him. Nene bent her head down quite embarrassed. She muttered profanities at toyo who was busy grinning from ear to ear.

He kept waving his phone at us.while I laughed at him.I tapped a spot for him, gesturing him to come over. While some people laughed and shook their head at him.others seemed less interested

He jumped over a few seats, muttering sorry at them and finally plopped on our own .

" Toyo...!!! Gimme one good reason why I shouldn't murder you ?" Nene asked trying to keep a straight face

Toyo smirked, biting his lips gently " you love me duh " he replied and nene's balled her fist playfully 

" someday I'll murder you "

" and you'll miss me" toyo replied and this time I smack his head 

" gerraoutta here." I say and he pouts playfully. Making nene and I laugh.just then a girl I call liľ bitch walks in.putting on a blue palazo trousers and a black bodycon t-shirts which had a white graphic boldly printed on it BITCHES ARE COOL.she was light skinned and her strawberried human weavon stylish enhanced her facial looks.her makeup made her look bitchy but gorgeous. And as a matter of fact she never hid the fact that she was an annoying idiot Nene and I especially had to deal with. 

Her name? Yes.she is the so-called yetunde. 

" aww.look who's here " she cooed mockingly. Stopping in front of our seat.that's Nene, Toyo and I

" oh hello yetunde. Long time no see " I greeted with a smile in a equally mocking tone
