After flying most of the day, I gave up escaping the steppe. It apparently stretched for miles and my wings were beginning to fail.

Grumbling, I started to land and sat down under a strange tree that looked like a man with an afro hairstyle. In my mind I made plans of what I would do to Domenic when I saw him again. These ranged from crushing heads to certain genitals. But if I was honest, I longed to be around him and felt defenseless without him, even though I now had my own methods of defense.

Annoyed, I kicked away a pebble that was lying on the ground in front of my feet. Wait a moment…. A pebble? There shouldn't be anything like that in the steppe! I sat up and grabbed the stone to take a closer look. It was an ordinary stone. Great, I said to myself, thinking that I would probably never come home again. Suddenly I was thrown into the air and then fell straight to the ground. A scream escaped me as the floor opened and I fell through a portal again. When I hit the ground somewhere, I gasped in pain and held my stomach. Breaking was the last thing I could use now. After calming down a bit, I looked around. My eyes widened when I stood in front of my house. I quickly got up and ran to the front door. "Daaaaaad?" I shouted as I burst through the apartment door and froze when I saw the blood-flooded body lying on the floor. Immediately I looked for my green light that offered me protection. I entered the room cautiously. A rustling tore me from my thoughts whether that was my father on the floor and I spun around.

"Marie!"

"Estelle, you have to get out of here ..." Her shoulders sagged and she looked at me sadly.

"What's going on?" I approached her with an outstretched hand and gently touched her shoulder.

"Leave me!" She yelled, and then: "NOW!" She

quickly jumped aside. At first I wondered why she wasn't talking to me about my wings, the next moment I was lying on the floor, wriggling defenseless under some weight. Marie laughed. My wings hurt tremendously as they were almost crushed. "You don't have to hold on to her for much longer, I just want a memento of her wonderful wings before you take them on!" She rummaged in her leather bag that she carried over her shoulder and brought a pair of scissors that were much too sharp and long to the fore.

Oh my God! Oh my God! I scream like a stick and turned around, wriggling, when she came up to me with the scissors and leaned over me. "Let Estelle be quiet now, the first angel took his fate much better than you and kept still!" She snapped at me and hit me on the head. An excruciating groan escaped me. "It's much better that way," said Marie. A sharp pain ran through my whole body through the right wing tip and I was wide awake again. In my spirit I searched for my light and was shocked at the violence with which it exploded around me. Marie flew against the wall where the cabinet with my favorite cup was hanging. Shit, I muttered as the cabinet fell to the floor and it rattled loudly. I turned grimly, freed from the weight that had almost crushed my wings. A young man with a very attractive face and dark blonde hair stared at me before turning into a fox and hissing past me to leave the house. "Rody!" Said Marie, slumped against the wall. Aha, so his name is Rody, I realized. Now I was again aware of the pain that was emanating from my right wing and I reached behind me to feel it. I was shocked to see that the tip was missing. My alarm bells were on red and I left my body for a moment to watch the drama. I swallowed when I saw myself standing there. The clothes are torn, the hair tangled from all the recent battles. My cheeks weren't reddened, but rather sunken because I hadn't eaten in so long and then my once so beautiful wings, one of which no longer had a wing tip. A bright liquid dripped from the wound. Shaken, I took one last look at my appearance when my gaze fell on the lifeless body behind me. I went back into my body and ran to the person or what was left of him. "Dad?" I sniffed, and when I saw the face I knew I was wrong. I looked into dark blue eyes that were wide open with pain. The torn wings peeked out from under his black silk shirt. I gasped. “Well, you never expected that, did you? Domenic really had such beautiful wings, "she grinned and held a piece of shiny silver-white in a ray of sunshine that fell through the window into the living room.

Silver wings. Domenic. Domenic was an angel? We had belonged together, we could have experienced so much together, she had killed him !!!

"You nasty little monster!" I stormed up to Marie, who was still leaning against the wall, and blew her breath away. “You nasty little traitor, you nasty pig! You killed him! ”Tears blurred my vision and I collapsed on the floor. I put my hands over my face and cried while Marie laughed brightly because she had taken the most important things away from me. My future.

“Estelle! Estelle wake up! ”At first I saw nothing. Then I saw Luke and wished I had rather continued to see nothing.

"Leave me alone!" I sniffed, wiping the tears from my eyes with my arm. I looked around confused. Jungle.

Oh no, not again!

"I'm definitely not going to leave you alone, otherwise you'll scream all over the jungle!" He eyed me with watchful eyes. "She killed Domenic, I guess I'm allowed to scream!" I looked furiously into beautiful brown and gold eyes. “Who killed Domenic? He was with us in the camp beforehand. ”

“ My girlfriend killed him and he was an angel and she destroyed my wing… ”I let my head sink to my knees in confusion. “Domenic is still a shapeshifter. You probably dreamed. "

" No, I didn't! It was way too real for that. ”I felt my right wing, then pointed my fingers to Luke. “Do you see the liquid? It came from my wound on the wing. ”Luke looked around me. He raised his eyebrows in surprise. "May I?" When I nodded, he touched my wing and looked at the fluid he had stripped from the feathers. "This is angel's blood ... you will come with me immediately!" He grabbed me and pulled me into his arms. “Hey! What's going on anyway? ”Luke started moving with me in his arms and mumbled, hard for me to understand,“ You had a rare future dream that could affect everything. ”The rest of the way he said nothing and I said nothing also didn't ask anymore, because firstly I was too tired and secondly it didn't attract attention that I snuggled up against his warm chest with relish. Sometimes I didn't understand myself.

Or maybe it was simply because I hadn't slept, had proper food or drink for a day. I was so exhausted that I hung limply in his arms as if I were dead.

"Estelle?" Asked a soft voice.

"Hmm?" I couldn't get more out of it, enjoying this moment of relaxation so much.

“It's good you're still alive. You look like dead. ”“ Yes, that's how I feel too. ”We didn't say more until we came to a small hut in the middle of the jungle. He stepped into the hut and dropped me on a small wooden bed. The hut reminded me of a ski hut that Marie and I had stayed in over the winter holidays. A big stove, which strangely seemed unnecessary in a jungle, gave the room a calming atmosphere. Besides the bed there was only a table with a couple of chairs, an armchair and a few small cupboards. Luke took out a small box from one of these closets and placed it next to the bed. He rummaged around in it until he finally found something and fished out a small vial with a white liquid in it. He apparently read the label and looked thoughtful.

Then he took the bottle without saying a word. Opened it and let a tiny drop fall on my wing.

Pain pounded into my wing, not nearly as bad as the headache I always felt.

I convulsed with a start and then groaned loudly as Luke put his cool hand on my wings. He still didn't say a word, but I could see that he felt for me. I closed my eyes and listened to his heartbeat and didn't even notice that I fell asleep listening to his heart rhythm.

My stomach called as I was thrown explosively through the air. I was shocked to see that I was in midair. Panicked, I recognized some jungle below me again, which after a closer look turned out to be the jungle from which Luke had sent me away. I instinctively looked for my bright yellow light and was relieved that I could fly and thus save myself from falling into the depths. I slowly came to rest and did a few laps over the giant forest. After a while I discovered some banana trees and eagerly headed for them. Wings are really practical, I thought, while I munched one banana after the other while flying and my stomach was happy about the meal.Satisfied and satisfied, I tried a landing on the spot, which, as before, went badly. My light withdrew as fast as a rubber band and my wings were gone before I was even near the ground.»Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah« With a scream that would have

Pain ran through my head when I woke up. I couldn't see Luke and also realized that I was no longer in the same place as before. I saw sand everywhere, nothing but sand. My gaze was caught by a huge tiger that had growled up in front of me. No, it wasn't just one, in this jungle in which I had landed at least ten tigers were walking excitedly up and down, as if their next meal was right in front of them. Oh shit! Where the hell did Domenic go? And why did I stand in a jungle? Damn! The tiger that was standing near me growled promisingly at me. Suddenly panic hit me. I stood in front of a tiger, followed by others. And I was worried about where Domenic was instead of taking me to safety! Was I actually totally hollow? Before I could think any further, I made a clean U-turn and drove into the jungle of green, green and green. I cursed my disorientation when I ran blindly through some bushes to hang out the tigers, which was actually impossible. Strangely, only a tiger followed me. The one who growled. Probably he was the pack animal I thought and when I looked around, I imagined the big cat had just rolled its eyes! When I turned forward again, I ran

Interested, I walked through the streets of the other world, which the shape-shifters called Tovah. Domenic trotted after me more annoyed than pleased. And that for at least half an hour. "What's different about this world?" Domenic groaned even more annoyed than five minutes ago - if that was even possible - and pulled my arm so that I could look at him. "Look at me," he said and I did him a favor. “This world is no different from the other at all! I've been trying to tell you that for half an hour, but you have to explore every corner and ... ”He stopped as I giggled from his grip and hopped up the street. I was doing incredibly well, my wound had stopped bleeding and since I didn't feel any pain, I was in a very good mood at the moment. The only thing that worried me was that I didn't know how long I'd been away from home. I'm sure everyone was worried! »... the world differs from ours only in this way, because only really only supersensible people such as angel

How about a thank you for saving me from death?" He replied annoyed.“You only want to use me for your own purposes, otherwise you wouldn't be chasing me.”“Chasing you? I'm just about to save your life again. ”Somehow I knew he was right, but I couldn't help myself. Like my brain won't listen to me anymore.“Just leave me alone, I'll be fine on my own. You geton my nerves. ” I was surprised at my own words and noticed how I leaned over to his neck and bit into it with all my might. When I realized what I had done, I shrank from myself. But his grip wasn't loosening, and neither was his expression."Now fucking let me down or I'll eat you." Now I was completely crazy. My pain got worse again and I convulsed again."Damn it, when will the ambulance come," he swore."What is happening to me?"I could no longer think clearly and tried to ignore the thoughts that were telli
