LOGINPain ran through my head when I woke up. I couldn't see Luke and also realized that I was no longer in the same place as before. I saw sand everywhere, nothing but sand. I didn't end up in the desert, did I?
How did I get here in the first place? What happened to Luke? Then I saw a piece of paper lying in front of me and I opened it.
I'm so sorry.
I have now taught you the basics so that you can defend yourself. But now you are on your own and now you have to train your skills properly. Unfortunately, this is an angel's only way. I wish you luck.
Luke
"What the ..." The anger but also despair gathered in my head, which threatened to burst any moment.
Finally, I closed my eyes and leaned back on the sand, which kept my skin warm. The pain in my head slowly subsided and my brain resumed its activities. I was lying in the sand. Surrounded by sand and sand and again sand. I was thirsty.
Great, in the middle of the desert I'm thirsty ..., my inner voice growled.
I imagined cool water running down my throat and let out a small moan.
Suddenly I had an idea. I got up and searched my mind for the bright white light that I found without any effort. My wings formed, which I noticed from a tingling sensation in my shoulders and back. Slowly, as before, I tried to spread my wings and move them and was amazed to see that everything happened naturally. Satisfied, I took off and looked around in the air in all directions. Front: sand. Right: sand. Back: sand. Left: Also sand! I caught my breath when I realized that I was on some kind of island made only of sand. There was just nothing around the island. Nothing at all! Suddenly I felt very abandoned and helpless.
What should I learn here? Count grains of sand?
I looked down to see Luke's letter. It stood out brilliantly against the sand. Bright?
Interested, I put on to land, which I suddenly managed now that I didn't think about it. The letter glittered and shone like a precious gem from a jewelry store. I carefully touched the edge of the paper, which was extremely cold.
When I read it earlier, it wasn't lit up!
I carefully examined the letter. The face of the paper was so cold that I dropped the letter in the sand, which allowed me to recognize a few scrawled words on the back of the letter. I slowly knelt down to better decipher the message:
You have to believe in your wishes.
Irritated, I turned the letter over and scanned the text on the front again.
I would have noticed the text on the back before!
Slowly I realized that the glow and glitter had been the sign that a new message was coming.
Luke communicates with me!
A shiver of joy ran through me and I didn't feel quite as lonely as 5 minutes ago.
But what did he mean, I have to believe in my dreams?
The time flew by. I had been sitting in this barren sand for at least 3 hours now, which was slowly but surely charring my feet. Annoyed, I let myself slide back into my cross-legged position to prevent that from happening. I would definitely need my feet, I told myself. Just like me, my brain didn't feel like sand anymore.
I hate sand! My children, if I have any, will never have a sandpit, I secretly vowed to myself.
I thought longingly of still, cold water and a gentle breeze in my hair. In my mind I saw a purple light.
Another?
I concentrated on it and sucked in a breath from the exertion. My hands clenched into two fists that rested on my thighs.
Water! Wind! Nagged the voice in my head. Stupid invention, I thought, trying to ignore it, but I couldn't. Eventually I gave up and let her nag while compulsively pulling the light towards me until it spread and a gust rushed through my hair.
Wind! Water! The voice rejoiced and I opened my eyes in confusion. There was no longer just sand in front of me. In front of me there was a small oasis lined with palm trees, which cast a wonderful shadow on the overheated sand. The palm leaves sagged in the wind and I enjoyed the gentle breeze blowing my hair back. But when I looked closer I noticed that I was only imagining the palm trees. I wished for wind and water, and in some way, my wish had come true. I saved my own life!
When my high was over, I returned to reality and a sharp pain went through my head. I returned to my body and found that I was still hungry.
"Maybe I can ask for something to eat," I thought out loud, concentrating on the purple light again.
I imagined a homemade pizza, the way Marie always made it, and wished it would stand in front of me.
I opened my eyes but didn't see any pizza. I tried something lighter and thought of a small fried egg. Still nothing.
"Funny, I can't wish for anything anymore, even though I'm concentrating." I remembered the voice I had heard earlier and looked for it. When she caught a low whisper, I tried to bring her to the fore and asked her my question.
Why can I no longer wish for anything?
The voice answered annoyed.
Because you wish for nonsense.
I noticed how the voice wanted to withdraw again, but kept it caught in the foreground of my mind. Why could I no longer wish for anything?
I already said it because you want nonsense.
Why nonsense? I was lying in the sand talking to myself, I giggled. In this desert it is no wonder to go crazy.
Because I can't cause you any nonsense. I only master the elements. And now don't bother me with your unnecessary questions.
I lost my concentration for a little moment and felt my voice slip away.
“I can call the elements. So wind and water. Wow «I couldn't believe it and tried to influence the wind. I fixed my gaze on the center of wind and tried to move it at my will. I closed my eyes and tried to move the wind at my will. But I overestimated myself and the pain that was in my head before became unbearable and I had to open my eyes to stay conscious.
"I suppose I shouldn't do that," I slurred, still dazed from the headache.
I stood up swaying and took a sip of water.
Now I just had to get out of this island.
I took the letter in my hand, searched for the white light and still got a slight shiver when my wings touched me. I took off and picked a direction to fly.
After about ten minutes of flying, I was pretty exhausted but tried to keep myself above the ground. Then I finally saw something shine from afar. I got closer and closer and realized that it was a small hut.
Just a little above the floor, I pulled my light back into the background and plopped on my bottom.
"I still have to practice landing," I told myself.
Maybe that's a goal. A spark of hope glowed in me and I headed for the door.
Great to ride the roller coaster again. Well, at least nothing can come out ... I haven't eaten anything.
I put my hand on the doorknob, opened the door, and walked through with my eyes closed.
After flying most of the day, I gave up escaping the steppe. It apparently stretched for miles and my wings were beginning to fail.Grumbling, I started to land and sat down under a strange tree that looked like a man with an afro hairstyle. In my mind I made plans of what I would do to Domenic when I saw him again. These ranged from crushing heads to certain genitals. But if I was honest, I longed to be around him and felt defenseless without him, even though I now had my own methods of defense.Annoyed, I kicked away a pebble that was lying on the ground in front of my feet. Wait a moment…. A pebble? There shouldn't be anything like that in the steppe! I sat up and grabbed the stone to take a closer look. It was an ordinary stone. Great, I said to myself, thinking that I would probably never come home again. Suddenly I was thrown into the air and then fell straight to the ground. A scream escaped me as the fl
My stomach called as I was thrown explosively through the air. I was shocked to see that I was in midair. Panicked, I recognized some jungle below me again, which after a closer look turned out to be the jungle from which Luke had sent me away. I instinctively looked for my bright yellow light and was relieved that I could fly and thus save myself from falling into the depths. I slowly came to rest and did a few laps over the giant forest. After a while I discovered some banana trees and eagerly headed for them. Wings are really practical, I thought, while I munched one banana after the other while flying and my stomach was happy about the meal.Satisfied and satisfied, I tried a landing on the spot, which, as before, went badly. My light withdrew as fast as a rubber band and my wings were gone before I was even near the ground.»Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah« With a scream that would have

My gaze was caught by a huge tiger that had growled up in front of me. No, it wasn't just one, in this jungle in which I had landed at least ten tigers were walking excitedly up and down, as if their next meal was right in front of them. Oh shit! Where the hell did Domenic go? And why did I stand in a jungle? Damn! The tiger that was standing near me growled promisingly at me. Suddenly panic hit me. I stood in front of a tiger, followed by others. And I was worried about where Domenic was instead of taking me to safety! Was I actually totally hollow? Before I could think any further, I made a clean U-turn and drove into the jungle of green, green and green. I cursed my disorientation when I ran blindly through some bushes to hang out the tigers, which was actually impossible. Strangely, only a tiger followed me. The one who growled. Probably he was the pack animal I thought and when I looked around, I imagined the big cat had just rolled its eyes! When I turned forward again, I ran
Interested, I walked through the streets of the other world, which the shape-shifters called Tovah. Domenic trotted after me more annoyed than pleased. And that for at least half an hour. "What's different about this world?" Domenic groaned even more annoyed than five minutes ago - if that was even possible - and pulled my arm so that I could look at him. "Look at me," he said and I did him a favor. “This world is no different from the other at all! I've been trying to tell you that for half an hour, but you have to explore every corner and ... ”He stopped as I giggled from his grip and hopped up the street. I was doing incredibly well, my wound had stopped bleeding and since I didn't feel any pain, I was in a very good mood at the moment. The only thing that worried me was that I didn't know how long I'd been away from home. I'm sure everyone was worried! »... the world differs from ours only in this way, because only really only supersensible people such as angel
How about a thank you for saving me from death?" He replied annoyed.“You only want to use me for your own purposes, otherwise you wouldn't be chasing me.”“Chasing you? I'm just about to save your life again. ”Somehow I knew he was right, but I couldn't help myself. Like my brain won't listen to me anymore.“Just leave me alone, I'll be fine on my own. You geton my nerves. ” I was surprised at my own words and noticed how I leaned over to his neck and bit into it with all my might. When I realized what I had done, I shrank from myself. But his grip wasn't loosening, and neither was his expression."Now fucking let me down or I'll eat you." Now I was completely crazy. My pain got worse again and I convulsed again."Damn it, when will the ambulance come," he swore."What is happening to me?"I could no longer think clearly and tried to ignore the thoughts that were telli
