How is she?

Somewhere in the outskirt of Country F

Susan was still tied to the chair for the past two days ,she was weak and lake for not eaten anything for the past two days. Not that she was not offered food she simply refuse to eat anything given to her. 

  Call her paranoid  but  in this situation who won't?  She is still looking for a  way to escape from this god forsaking place, so she won't be careless and be poison she might be luck like last time. 

She was in a deep thought , she don't know why she keep attracting trouble, maybe the way she has lever I. the past when she look for trouble every where even from slightness provocation she will give it to the person double. 

    But now that she has learnt her lesson and stay put, she is like a magnet attracting trouble everyday. The sound of footstep approach break her train of thought. She opened her eyes to look at the person in front of her. One if the gang that was paid to kidnap her came in with a plate of food again.

    " I already told you I won't eat a thing if I don't know who instruct you to kidnap me.". She has being demanding this ever since she was brought here. She guess the person that is behind this has instruct them not to hurt her that was the reason a single hand has not being laid on her except being tied to a chair. 

" You had better eat else you will starve yourself to death. Do you want to die before you meet the person you are asking for?"

 She chuckle lightly. " I will rather starve to death than be fed with this food. Who knows what you have put there. May be you want to poison me who knows.

." She shrugged nonchalantly , the man is kind hearted and be considerate of her. Thou she did not panicked or scream after her abduction others did not let their guards down around her. If they offer her food and she refused , they will gladly take it away from her without talking to her but only this man will talk to her and try to persuade her . 

  " Please eat something. no one will poison you  in fact let me taste it." The man take a  spoon and put a large scoop of rice into his mouth , chew and swallow it in front of her . She sigh in relieve when she saw this but she still pretend to be strong headed. 

" Take it away ! I won't eat it." The man did not argue with her but instead of going away he moved closer to her and shoved a spoonful of rice into her mouth. He covered her mouth quickly and release her until she swallowed it. The man forcefully fed her till there is nothing left of the food before he let her go.

Country B

  A lady sat in her swivel leather chair with her eyes closed . She placed her hand in her forehead as she lean in her chair. She did not sleep a wink for over two days. She is in a very bad mood. 

The ringing of her phone brought her out of her own world, she lazily opened her eyes her eyes turn dark when she noticed the number calling her.

  " Mr  Robin , how was it? any progress?"

(" No madam! We are conflicted maybe to leave or stay after given him the dead line bit now it seems nothing happened. " The person on the other line answered in low spirit too.)

" You better not come back here without good news , else you know what I can do." She disconnect the call without waiting for answer from him.

" Useless fellow , he can not find my sister within two days. Another two days without her , I will pay you a visit.". She said angrily to herself.

 Country A

  Betty was rushed to hospital in the midnight and was rushed to the emergency ward immediately. Ultrasound scan was carried out to check the state of her foetus but the situation was beyond remedy as her foetus is already affected. 

 Bob was pacing up and down on the hallway when the theater door was pushed opened.  He rushed towards the doctor to enquired about her situation.

 " Doc! how is she?"

  " Mr Bob? are you her husband? "

 " Yes! How is she?"

 The doctor sigh before he open his mouth to say anything. " Sir! I don't know what happened but I must blame you. You knows she is in her second trimester yet she fell that much..." 

" How is she? " He asked impatiently, listening to his scolding is irritating him as if he was the one that pushed her in the first place. His phone has been ringing non stop. He need to get out of this place . " I don't have all day Mr! "

The doctor swallow hard, he looked at the man emitting a dangerous aura. He did not want to offend him. 

 " Am sorry. She is four month pregnant but due to the fall she lost the baby and  also she suffered a fracture on her leg. She will have to stay in the hospital for two month and we have to evacuate the foetus immediately. " He said in one breathe.

" OK! is that all?" The doctor nod. Bob turn to the maid that is waiting at a distance.  He fish out one credit card from his suit pocket . " Here take this. settle her hospital bills and get all the necessary things. " 

He turn around to leave. The maid was surprised at his behavior but who is she to talk. " Are you leaving sir? " The maid covered her mouth immediately the word came out of her mouth. She did not know when she blurt out her thought.

 " No am not leaving am staying . " He answered sarcastically before he placed his phone on his ear to receive a call .

 " Hello honey! ooh sorry, I will be there immediately OK! love you too. ". He turn around, he raised his brow when he saw the doctor and the Maid with a wide eye like saucer and a dropping jaw.

He chuckle lightly. " You better not breathe a word out or else you will have your cold body to blame. You two better close your mouth before you invite a fly." He turn around and leave without turning back.

The two if them do as told and nod in understanding. They did not want to blame their cold body.  The doctor went back to the theater while the maid rushed down to complete the necessary documentation.
