I want happiness too

" Hey! are you new here?"   The new cleaner back stiffened when that question was asked , she slowly turn to face the person asking her the question. She smiled at her to cover her nervousness before answering.  

" Yes I am ma'am."   

" OK! so what are you doing here?". She looked confused not understanding why the question was asked, 'obviously she is here to clean and do her job what is the meaning of this .' 

  " Am here to clean this place ma. or do you have any other job for me aside for me aside from this? "  She asked not want to show that she is annoyed with the question . 

 " and you said you are new here? if you are new, you are not suppose to be here cleaning this place!". 

" Oh, that! Is that why you asked why am here ma?" Susan nod as an answer.         

"  My director called me this morning to come here and replace the person in charge of cleaning this place but when I asked he said something about her being sick or something since am available he decided to have me replaced her .

 "  Susan furrow her eye brow when she heard that, she wonder what could have happened to that girl for her not to come to work and not to call her at all, since the lady took her as a senior sister she as always treated her like a little sister as well but their relationship is not known to other.

  " But why..." She wanted to talk but when she looked up she caught the cleaner looking at her, her eyes throwing dagger at her. She closed her mouth an swallow the remaining of her sentences before smiling at the her pretending she saw nothing  but her mind is nagging her that all is not well  with this Lady ' why will she look at me like that as if I am her sworn enemy'.

  " Alright dear, you are welcome to this place. Let me excuse you so you can do your job. I like you, you look so cute." She excused herself without waiting for her reply.

Country A

Betty sat in the dark on the corner of her bed, she has been crying for the past three days now. Bob did not come to visit or call her since the day she went to the hospital. 

She did not know what s wrong with their relationship but she did not want to less him like tat. She refuse to be a coward. She picked up her phone to call the detective she hired. " Hello, how is it?" she asked  in an annoyed tone.

  " Their information's can not be access or he deliberately conceal it. so far I did not get anything "   said the detective immediately he picked up the call.

" i know you are incompetent fool the very first time set my eyes on you." Betty did not wait for his reply before cutting the call,  the detective raised an eyebrow when the tone of his phone indicate the call has been disconnected.  

Betty stand up washed her face and went down to the living area. All the domestic workers in the house shiver at her site.

 They are all tip toeing around her for the past one week now, they have somehow used to the way she treated them especially when they are fighting ( Betty and Bob) she always take it out on them. 

 " You bunch of idiots! do I have to tell you before you serve my food? do I pay you to loiter around me. Are you all fools? I don't blame you i should blame myself for retaining you to work for me when you should be on the street begging for your lives. Don't provoke me else you will all face my wrath in this house."

Emily come out of the kitchen to serve her the food. " Ma' am I already served your dinner." 

Betty opened her eyes and look at the food, she looked at the shrimp soup served to her and she suddenly remembered that her loser of a friend love this soup. Because she thought she partially contribute to what she is passing through now, without thinking she lift up the soup and throw it right at Emily who stand by the side with her head bow.

" ahhhhhhaaahhhhhhh!" her piercing cry can wake up the dead. The pain hit her unnoticed , the hot soup splashed on her hand her forehead and thigh. If not four her bowed head, her face would have been disfigured already.

The other maids rushed out when they heard someone cry. They knew it is Emily voice but they are all afraid to come closer to them so they can only peek from the kitchen door.

 " Did I asked you to serve me this rubbish you call soup? did I tell you to served all this garbage . can't you prepare something more palatable instead of this rubbish. Now I know you are all tired of your work. Get out of my face before I do something outrageous .". 

Emily sob silently without saying anything, she grit her teeth endure the pain from the hot soup. She come out of the dinning area before the 'witch' did as she said again.

Country B

Cathy looked up at the sleeping Mark. She now noticed his feature he has a very beautiful face and body. She wonder how he has time to workout to have a very tone body like this. 

She smoke to herself when she recall his she has been treat like a queen, she must not lie she enjoy been with him too. It is not because they grow up together up she always feel what she has not felt before when he touched her. 

For the past a month they have got married and moved to this country, she has not allow hi. to touch her and she appreciate him for that. 

She wonder why he understand her and respect her so much, aside form kissing and touching they have not do the real deed. 

 Mark has love her for a very long time while she has someone else in her mind. He did not even mind that, he continue to live her and Gabe all his best to her. 

 She smiled to her self for the bliss she is feeling right now, she made up her mind to give her all to him there and then. If he should leave her, she knows no one will love her and treat her like this . She promise herself to make this marriage work for her life time. She smiled again ' I that give someone advice to embrace happiness is still contemplating on my own happiness.

 This guy love me so why rely my happiness. My happiness is now and am ready to make this work .' she said in her mind before she moved closer to face her husband . She turned him over and cover his lips with hers.
