Kelly's family

At the Kelly's mansion

"  Bob,what is going on with the Richards?  How long are we going to wait for everything to fall in place?  You better make it snappy. I  want to carry  my grandchildren very, very soon....." Mr Kelly winked at his son before sipping his wine "....and more so you must not loss such a beautiful damsel." Mr Kelly grinned. 

 Mrs Kelly roar with laughter when she heard what her husband said." James, ( Mr Kelly) you know you shouldn't talk about carrying grandchild so soon. You should at least give him sometime to be with the damsel." She shifted on her sit to face her husband." More so, you yourself still roll with girls at the club and... "she paused to look at her husband and son.

"and what mum?" Bob asked.

"OK! I think he should be talking about given you a younger brother or sister. "She added teasingly  before she winked at her husband.

Bob and James looked at each other before the two burst out laughing. 

 "Mum ! come on! count me out." He said between laughter while raising his hands in surrender. 

"Kate ( Mrs Kelly)", James called gently." Come on."He chuckled. 

"I don't do small girls,when I have a beautiful, gorgeous, elegant and intelligent damsel at my finger tip. So, how can I flirt around?"

 He moved closer to his wife before he pecked her on the cheek. 

" Bob , what do you think about your mother carrying a sister or brother?"

"Dad, mum...." Bob called the two of them, they both stop what they are doing to face their son. "The two of you better stop flirting and leave the rest to the younger generation. How do you want me to inform my friend that my mother is carrying a child. That aside..."

Mr Kelly  did not allow Bob to finish his sentence before he replied " You don't have to tell them anything. It is my headache to feel not theirs as you can see she is not complaining. Am ready to carry her to hospital and the rest."He jested.   "Just focus on making your girlfriend agree to the engagement." He stood up from his seat. 

"Darling, let's go to our room to focus on making baby sister for Bob." Mrs Kelly also stand .

 The two lock hands before heading upstairs. Bob sat there looking at his parent. He shook his head. He lean on the chair took the remote before shifting his attention to the television to flip through the channels. 

He settled for a CNN to watch news. After five minutes he has been watching the news he heard his mothers footstep coming down the stairs. The two dressed gorgeously  with his father smoothing his wife's hair.

"James stop been shameless" Mrs Kelly slapped his hand away.  They stop to look at their son. "Bob don't forget what your father said.  Am going out with my friends and James come on you are my driver for today."

  "Yes ma'am, at your service." James bowed to his wife in a friendly manner making all of them burst into laughter.

After four month of Susan birthday and her engagement to Bob. 

 Susan and Bob are both at the roof top of skyline hotel enjoying the romantic moment with candle light dinner under the moon light. They both gazed at each other. Bob holds her hand without shifting his eyes away from her. 

"Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to love you, thanks for agreeing to be my fiancee."

 " I know I might be too persistence but I can't help it I know I much I went through before you agreed to date me in the first place. "

"I just don't want to lose you." He releases her hand . "I know you don't trust me yet but I want to promise you that aside you I don't have anybody. I did not even look at any other Lady, please trust me. I love you so much that it hurt." He closes his eyes and sigh deeply.

Susan lean in her chair. "I believe you."

 Bob open his eyes wide to look at Susan. "Pardon," he asked her.

"I said I believed everything you said. I want you to forgive me for what I want to say but I have to be straightforward with you." She answered while looking at her fingers.

 Bob nodded his head to indicate he is fine with what she will say.

 "Thou I might agreed to the engagement to make my mummy happy in the first place but at this stage we must develop trust within ourselves to make things work out fine. Then we are not doing it for anybody but for ourselves." She raised her head to meet Bob in the eyes. 

"Although, I have been observing you for sometimes now, compound with every good thing you have been doing. The way you treated my mum like your own even helping out at the company  when you have your own responsibility at your father's company , all the good things Betty have said about you... if to say am not jealous of your ability a times I will be lying but right now I want to appreciate you. Personally, I  know you are handsome, tall, built and lovely. Your family might not be as rich as we are (Bob flinched when he heard the statement) but I believed we can rub things together, just be patient with me ."

 Bob was astonished when he heard what she said, he stood up from his seat, knelt down in front of her. He  hugged her and kissed  her hands. He used his two palms to cover his face before shedding tears. 

Susan was surprised by that... "What are you doing? did I  said something that make you cry? "she asked worryingly.

"No Sussy. you said nothing wrong am just happy."

 Susan was happy to hear that . She heave a sigh of relief. She knows she might hurt him with her tongues. She offer him a handkerchief so he can wipe his tears. 

 Bob collected the handkerchief she offered before he continued with his statement..."Baby am happy! am happy, that you want to give me a chance in your heart. am happy  you appreciate my efforts and I promise if you open your heart to me, if you opened to my love you will not regret ever loving me. Just give me the chance to love and spoil you."

 Susan smiled before helping him to his seat. "Shhhhhh! its alright don't be a crying baby next time."she teased him. 

 He titter gently, "my dear you don't understand how much I love you. May be you don't know. OK I will make you understand, right now you are like an oxygen..." 

" Really??" she asked  with amusement.

 "Yes, without you I can not survive. You know how much oxygen is important to all living things that is how much you are important to my life."

 Susan kept laughing gently." Its OK Bob I don't know you have sugar coated tongue." she slapped him lightly. " Stop dishing out sugar for me, its not good for my health. " They continue to joked around.

"Alright dear. Our food is already cold." They duo silently finished their food. After they are done eating they sat on the grass to gazed at the star.

 "Susan?"  he call out to her when he noticed she is silent .

"Yes ! "she answered.

"Look at those stars, Sussy. They are as beautiful and dazzle as you. I know you won't believe me but its the truth. You don't see yourself but those who have eyes for good things will know that you are one in a million." Bob continued.

 "Bob stop been cheek. You are talking as if you have not seen me before. This your tongue is so sweet. is that how you guys deceived naive ladies? " Susan countered him.

"Am not been cheek here. It's the fact,whether am just seeing you or I have know you for a long time it won't change the fact that God took extra effort to create you, maybe you don't know you are God's perfect masterpiece."

Susan laughed to the extent that she holds her stomach  because of pain. "Bob ..you .. won't kill me with sweetness."she said in between her laughter. 

They both continue to talk about so many thing about their life, from their best colour, date of birth, best meal, best music and the rest. They talked for so long when Bob noticed Susan has placed her head on his shoulder.

 "Sussy ! Sussy !..." he called her silently when he noticed her deep and silent breathing he guess she is asleep. He placed her head on his lap and sat there all alone drooling at the sleeping beauty.

After sometime  he looked at his watch. "oh!  its 10:00 pm" He shook her gently to wake her up been a light sleeper, she opened her eyes to face the smiling Bob. 

 "Sleeping beauty your Prince has already kissed you, now that you are awake shall we get going."he joked.

  She stood with yawning, "sorry, I was so sleepy. Let's go I think it's late."

 They both leave the hotel. Bob guided Susan out of the hotel to their car. He zoomed off to the Richards' resident. He drop her and ensure she enter the house before he left with a smile crept to his face.g
