We have nothing to talk about!

Betty step out of the elevator full of life and happiness. She is so happy to see the love of her life. She hold the food flask very well and readjust her dress. She pass through the desk of her husband assistant. She shrugged when she did not see her on seat not that she needs her to announce her presence anyways.

   She pushed open the door to Bob's office, but what she saw made her dumbfounded.

 'Clang'

     The sound of something hitting the floor stopped the two from what they are doing. Betty stare wide at the two, her eyes almost roll out of the socket. She clenched her fist, rage filled her. Bob was more shocked to see her standing at the door way looking at them.

 He immediately grab the tissue on the table to wipe himself clean. Alice picked up her blouse from the floor and dress up. She walked leisurely pass Betty that stood like a statue. Alice pass her a smirk before she push the door open. Betty looked at Bob that sat lazily on his chair with irritation.

   " What are you doing here?" He asked as if what happened moments ago did not take place at all. " Is....Is ... Is this what you have been doing behind my back?"

 " What have I been doing? I don't understand what you are talking about?" " Bob ?? you don't understand what am talking about!? "

    " You are sleeping with your assistant in your office Bob? Is this why you refuse to come home yesterday? Is this ....."  she was cut mid sentence by Bob " Eeeh! that is enough! Go we will settle it at home, just excuse me I need to work."

 Betty looked at Bob that has now faced his laptop completely ignoring her. Her eyes sting with tears threatening to gush out. She sniff back the tears and turn around to leave with total rage filled her mind. She stopped at Alice desk sending a glare at her. Alice looked at her with smile on her face. 

   Betty moved closer to her with eyes full of hatred. " Idiot! you are nothing but a slut. You are a disgrace to womanhood. Having sex with your own boss in the office. Have you forgotten he is married? uhmf! you this home wrecker."

    " Thank you for reminding me of my role as a slut and home breaker that is because am following your footstep as a little sister. "   Betty gritted her teeth, she dashed forward to slap her but she dodge making her to stumble forward before balancing herself with a chair. Alice smile at her with face full of mockery.

 " If you will excuse me Miss Betty, I have work to do." Alice take some files from the table before she moved toward the elevator. Betty was so annoyed, she look at her retreating figure with disdain. 

She later came out of the building and went home with a swollen and red eyes.

Jerry arrived at the airport as early as 4:30 am, he look messy with dark circles under his eyes. He removed his crooked  tie and sat in the waiting area. At exactly 5 o' clock he went to clear his immigration. 

He proceed to the nearest information panel to check the flight information. He was stunned when the panel flicked with a new update, stating that the flight will be delayed for 2 hours. Jerry was so annoyed by the announcement he has to wait another two fucking hours in this country.

 ' What a bad omen .'  He look downcast and annoyed. Matty can only shook his head, he is also annoyed with the delay but he can still manage. He needed to rest badly. Ha carried his tired self back to his seat to rest. He knows he will have enough rest in the plane. 

As he closed his eyes to take a short nap, he heard his boss talking. " Matt find out what causes the delay and do everything you need to do to make things faster."

 " OK sir." Matt stood up feeling weak, he wonder how Jerry could still pace up and down when he himself felt so tired. He pity the other stakeholders too . He consider himself as a strong man but now he knows that he pale in comparison to his boss strength.

  Jerry is as strong as a bull, despite been stuck in a meeting since yesterday afternoon he did not look tired at all. He smiled to himself when he remembered the faces of others this morning when the meeting finally came to an end. 

   Some of them stand up with wobbling legs, some even slept on their chair when their body cannot take it again, some look pale as if they have been sick for ages. He shook his head as he mutter to himself ' Who won't be when you have to complete three days work in 15 hours .'  He came back after enquiring and the person in charge promise to put everything in place before the two hours. 

   Jerry sigh for the umpteenth time now, he wipe his face with his two palms. He also lean on his chair to wait for the two hours.

Country F international airport.

Jerry completed the formalities, he did did not wait for his assistant that went to retrieve their luggage. He dashed towards exit and enter the waiting car.

 Matt has called the chauffeur to inform him about their arrival and the latter waste no time in driving down here to wait for his boss. Luckily for Matt he still made it to the car or else he has to find his own way. The journey back home was quiet with everyone with their own thought. 

   The drive was still glances at his boss that kept looking at his watch for the umpteenth time now. He look at his unkept appearance, he wonder what could have happened to him. He has not see him like this before because his boss is someone that pay much attention to his  appearance and style.

"   Can you drive faster?" Jerry spoke breaking the silence. 

" OK sir!" Jerry looked up to see the direction he is going " drive to the company."  The driver glance at Matt as if they are guessing each other thought. Matt summon up his courage to speak " Sir! Please go home first and take care of yourself. Your appearance will created a headline."  

You look untidy and messy, just like a zombie, he add in his head . Jerry look at himself to see that he is messy, he exhale he just noticed he is untidy. He did not say anything silently agreeing with Matt. He need to freshen up and change into a clean cloth. 

He run out of the car to his room, Mrs Tim look at him not understanding what is going on. " Matt what happened to your boss?"

     " Good afternoon madam. Everything is fine, he just have an important meeting to attend."

 " Meeting again? are you not just coming back after almost two weeks business trip? What type of meeting did he want to attend that he can not take care of himself "

    " Matt go home and rest, I will tell him I excuse you." Matt was glad but when he remembered the devil's face he can only wait till he dismissed him by himself. Mrs Tim looked at unpersuaded Matt , she stood up from her chair she need to stop him from attending to any work. She is so sure he has not have anything to eat because  he hate eating food served on the plane. She instruct the maid to prepare something light for him. 

  Jerry shaved his beards, took a quick bath and brush his teeth. The routine that usually that him time, he came out of the bathroom in less that twenty minute.  He dressed up fast and came out of his room to see his mother at the room. She seems to be waiting for him. " If you don't care for me as a mother at least take care of yourself and rest after coming back. Do you want to kill yourself with work? we have enough money to take care of ourselves already so you are not attending any meeting again today." 

Jerry raised an eyebrow but he later relax he knows Matt must have made up the excuse of attending meeting for him. " Mother? how can you say that I don't care for you? If I don't care for you then who will? I just need to attend to something urgent , I will be back before you know it."

 " I know you are the most caring darling I have but I did not agree with you, even if you want to go out YOU MUST EAT."

 " Mother, you don't have to worry about that I will soon be back to finish everything you make. " He gently coax using force will not help him at all. " No! either you eat before you go or you don't get to leave at all. choose." 

 " OK mum I will eat, is that on with you?"  Mrs Tim smile at him before leading him to the dinning area.

   Jerry entered his company emitting a dangerous and cold aura. Thank God majority of the workers has gotten off work.  The remaining ones that need to do over time scurry away in fear when they saw the devil himself. He enter his private elevator to the CEO floor, Susan has just clock out and ready to enter the elevator when someone grabbed her hand. She looked up to see Jerry with a cold face emitting a dangerous aura.

 She was afraid at first but when she remembered the picture shown to her about him and Clara she freed herself from him. She don't know why she is feeling like this but she can not help it.  " Good day Sir and welcome back." Susan said distancing herself from him.

   " Susan we need to talk right now!." 

  " Mr Tim? there is nothing to talk about. I have already signed out today so this is my personal time."  She turn around and enter the elevator leaving Jerry alone with his thought.
