LOGIN"Shut up", Mishty threw her pillow on her cousin's sister and was trying to hide her smile on which she was failing miserably. 'Is he missing me? But I never received his message other than good morning and good night.', she thought

At Mishty's Home
.
.
.
Everyone was asking about Sameer. Few of her neighbors were jealous thinking how can an acid attack victim have such an amazing groom. Few were taunting with the fact that Son in law is not of their caste. Few were genuinely happy for Mishty. Not for a while, they left her alone so she could have a talk with Sameer. She was surrounded by so many people still she could not help but was missing Sameer and was thinking about him.
.
.
'I hope he would have his food. God knows what cooked would have prepared for him. I hope he would manage everything on his own. But till the time I was there, I never left that he can handle himself without me.', A lot of things were going on in Mishty's mind.

Mishty dialed Sameer's number and was silently praying that Sameer won't be mad at her because she hadn't talked with him for the last 2 days. The call was about to end when finally Sameer received the call.
.
.
"Hello", Sameer answered the call in a sleepy tone.
.
.
'His voice is so seductive', her naughty mind thought, on which she immediately started scolding herself for thinking something like that.
.
"Are you going to speak, Mishty, or should I disconnect the call?", Sameer murmured and tried to give her a hint that he is angry.
.
"Someone is angry", Mishty replied in a low tone.
.
"Of course, I am. I think you had forgotten that you are married, and have a husband away from you. Once even a once you thought about me. I didn't receive any message or call from you from the last 2 days. Do you even know how much I missed you? Anything why are you wasting your precious time in talking with me. Have fun at your home. Bye. Good night.", Sameer disconnected the call.
.
.
Mishty stared at her mobile for a few minutes in shock. She was dumbfounded with the fact that Sameer missed her. She had tears in her eyes because of her happiness. She cursed herself for making him feel in this way. She again dialed his number.
.
.
"I don't want to talk with you, Bye", Sameer answered the call and started throwing a tantrum like a kid.
.
.
"I am sorry. Actually Baba's seat was in front of mine, and It would be a little awkward to talk with you in front of him !!"
.
.
"Excuse me? I am not your boyfriend. I am your husband. For god sake, stop giving me silly excuses. Anyway BYE", Sameer said stressing the last word.
.
.
"Did you have your dinner?", Mishty asked to change the topic...
."No. I didn't like what the cook had prepared for dinner. The taste of the food was awful. Between why am I sharing this with you? BYE"....
"Please have something otherwise you won't be able to sleep the entire night. I Know this habit of yours."
..
"BYE."
..
"Fine, bye, and good night."..
."I knew it that you are waiting for the moment to drop the call. You heard me saying bye and immediately said bye & good night. You are not even trying to make me feel good or special."...
"But..."Mishty tried to speak, but Sameer cut her off.
"You are enjoying and having fun, so keep doing that. Please don't waste your time in calling me. Also, don't worry about me, I can take care of mine. Bye and good night.".
.
"Sam..."Sameer disconnected the call. Mishty again tried to call him, but this time he switched off his number. Though Mishty knew this was a friendly fight but she could not help herself from getting sad. She came out of her room and sat in the small society's garden in front of her house..
.
...."I wish even I could have told you that I am missing you. I am surrounded by everyone, but still I am feeling alone. I swear I am not to visit anywhere without you in the future.", Mishty thought and felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned back only to find her mother looking at her with concern.....
"Is everything fine, Mishty?", She asked softly observing her daughter upset. Mishty nodded in YES. "Then why am I feeling that you are lying?"
.
.
.
.
.
"I am fine, Maa", Mishty tried to assure her mother.
....."Okay, I won't force you if you say so. So, tell me, how was your wedding night? Did you follow everything which I had guided to you?
.
.
."What should I tell you about the wedding night when nothing happened between us? He said that we are strangers now. That's why we should give each other some time & space to know to understand each other better. Somewhere I felt that he is right."
.
.
.
.
"Have you gone mad?", Mishty's mother hit on her head softly....
.
."Maa, none of your suggestions and tips work out in front of him. What can I do then? He treats me equally. He never let me do any of his work until he really feels that 'the particular work comes under his wife's duties or responsibility'
.
.
."Is there any other girl..."
.
.
..."Maa,", Mishty cut her mother in between. "Don't fill stupid things in my mind. I know there is nothing like that. I know you are a concern for me, but these things are the beginning of misunderstanding and crack in the relations. Sameer is an amazing husband. I have made so many stupid mistakes till now, but not for a once he has ever raised his voice on me. He let me correct my mistakes on my own. In fact, he has also said that I will always have his back."
.
..
"Tell me more about him. Since this marriage happened in such a short period of time that I never get to know much about him."
.
...."Maa, you are blessed to have the best son-in-law from my point of view, who never let your daughter cry even for a while.".

“But she has that black spot on her cheeks”. the kid said..
The rest of the night was bliss. They both chit-chatted over the WhatsApp. They felt like they are back in their school days, where teenagers used to do the same at the beginning of their relationship. They talk about day-to-day stuff and crazy stuff. They talked about their best memories of their life and so much more.
Sameer tried to call her back, but Mishty had already switched off her number by then. He knew he had hurt Mishty more than anything. Now, this fight needs to end before it turns into something vicious for their new married relations...."I am sorry, Mishty. I really didn't mean that. You know that, right?", Sameer typed the message and was about to click on the Send b
"I am sorry", Mishty started sobbing. "I am so stupid. I made you pissed off with me over nothing. Sorry for acting like a bitch. I knew you are going to get worried, but I didn't care. I am so sorry. After I send you the message of 'I miss you', I kind of wanted you to tell the same. I waited for hours anxiously, but your reply never came. I felt like you are ignoring me from the morning for just that silly fight, which made me pissed off. That's why I wanted you to taste your medicine."..
"Maa, you are blessed to have the best son-in-law frommy point of view, who never let your daughter cry even for a while."...."Or I can say that you are blessed to have the best husband from my point of view who never let my daughter cry even for a while", Mishty's mother teased, on which Mishty started blushing. "Ahem Ahem. Just his nam
