"....If you copy from Google I'll know. Good day class." An ape of a human being said before leaving the class.
Mr Akinyele.
I hate this man...gosh!
"Rubbish! How can you give somebody assignment and you're telling us not to Google it, when it's not in our notebook." Natalie ranted.
"I just taya oh!" Mimi said nonchalantly. [Same thing I thought]
"I don't know where I'll see answers from o!" I said in frustration.
"LIBRARY!" We all said in unison.
"During lunch time I'll go. I'm tired sha. Who even needs all this rubbish subject in life sef?" Natasha said, asking no one in particular.
"When las las, it's only Maths and English we'll use in the future. Maths for calculating money and English for communicating with people." Mimi hissed.
I laughed.
A girl walked into our class, a junior to be precise and specifically made her way to where I sat. "Senior Olivia, they are calling you!" She said.
"Who's 'they'? Abeg, speak English joor!" Natasha snapped. [Speak in English.]
"Your village people." Natalie said while we all laughed. I could see the junior holding in her laughter.
"Who's calling her?" Mimi asked, giving her the 'no one is your mate here' look.
"Senior Bamidele." She answered, and my heart dropped.
"Why?" I asked nervously.
"I don't know, he just said I should call you." She answered.
"Where's he?"
"In his class room." She answered.
"Okay, tell him I'm coming." I give a final reply, and she left immediately.
"What does that fuckboy want?" Mimi pondered.
"Let me go find out, I'll be back." I said as I stood up.
"Be fast o!" Natasha said in a hurrying tone.
I walked out of the class, walked down the school hallway, climb some stairs, I walked as slow as possible, I finally got to the class room and it was boldly written on the light wooden door 'Grade 12'.
I opened the door and I walked into the air conditioned class room, some students sat on the table, some talked loudly, some were standing in between a girl's leg or vice versa. I sighted Dele sitting on a chair at the back of the class row, Jayden sat on the table with a girl between his legs, he was backing the class. They all gave me weird looks, especially the girls. I was nervous and I wished I could run.
Stop thinking about running, every goddamn time.
"Hey Olivs." He greeted, as soon as I got to where he sat.
"It's Olivia, and it doesn't sound good when it's abbreviated, unlike your name." I said whilst he chuckled.
"Sit down." He ordered.
"No, I'm fine. I ain't spending more than five minutes, so I'm good." I looked at Jayden and he was really deep in his conversation, probably oblivious of my presence.
"So what's up? How are you doing?" He asked.
"I've been doing okay." I was so uncomfortable. "Why did you call me?"
"I just wanted to ask you for your number."
Can you imagine? *in lasisi elenu's voice*
"Why didn't you wait until after school? You can always talk to me." I was a little bit annoyed.
"So, can I have your number?" He looked really mischievous and handsome at the same time.
"I..I...I don't have a phone." I lied.
He laughed.
"Come on, I'm not gonna eat you or something." He joked.
He was really fine though.
"Really, I don't have a phone." I said, holding onto the lie, and putting up a fake smile.
"Dude, don't force her. She doesn't want to give you." It was Jayden who spoke, giving Bam a frown.
I thought he didn't notice my presence, I didn't know he was listening to us all this while. The girl between Jayden's legs was playing with the hem of his long sleeve shirt whilst looking at him.
Jayden fixed his gaze on me.
"Give me your notebook." I ordered.
Bam brought out a notebook, I was holding my pen with me so I wrote my number down for him, I took a glance at Jayden and his eyes were bloodshot red, he was frowning real bad. I thought his eyes were gonna explode or something.
"I'll call you later." He told me, after closing the book.
I nodded. "I have to get going." I innocently said.
"Okay, I'll walk you to the door." He offered.
"No, I'm fine. I'm not a baby." I said whilst walking away.
I'm never ever walking into this class again.
Fuck!
Their gazes were killing me, they were drilling holes in my entire body, I walked really fast because I was feeling unnecessary heat.
I opened the door that led to my classroom and I thanked God that there was no teacher in the class yet..I walked silently to my seat, and sat on it.
"The boyfriend snatcher has finally returned. You just couldn't wait for lunch, you just had to do a quickie." Izzy said aloud and the whole class looked at me.
What's the problem with this girl?
I had to look for a comeback asap.
"I'm sorry sweetheart, but you really shouldn't be telling us how your vagina became so wide!" I yelled at her.
The whole class couldn't help but laugh, and some gasped.
"Bitch!" She roared.
"I didn't ask for your name." I savaged the fool, feeling like a queen.
The class dropped different comments, I heard comments like:
"Jesus!"
"The queen of comebacks has been dethroned"
"Olivia get mouth o!" Olivia is so bold.
"She isn't having any of dem Izzy's rubbish."
"Ignore them jare. What did Dele say?" Natalie asked with interest in her tone and eyes.
"Can you actually believe that he called me just to ask for my phone number?" I annoyingly confessed.
They all hissed.
"Did you give him?" Mimi asked.
"Yeah." I nonchalantly dismissed.
With your brother giving me a death glare. I almost add
"So do you like him?" Natasha whispered.
"I barely know him." I rolled my eyes.
"Then why were you so eager to heed to his calling?"
Because I wanted to see someone else during the process.
Ehn?.Since when?
"He was really nice to me on the first day of school and I thought it wouldn't be nice if I turned him down." I said, looking outside the window, like there was something interesting going on outside.
Silence.
Prolonged silence.
"You'll come and teach me how to clapback at people. Like gurl you're good at it." Natasha praised.
Natasha was the tuff twin while Natalie was the total opposite of her.
Natalie used medicated eyeglasses, so that was how we could differentiate them, they were beautiful though.
Natasha was the totally opposite of her twin, she was bold, daring, and had this confidence that commanded respect even without speaking, maybe it was because she had a resting bitch face—which was intimidating. Natalie on the other hand was quiet, reserved and didn't really command much attention, even though they were literally the same face in different bodies, she was likeable and more easy to approach, let's just say Natalie loves to keep her space and was more of a welcoming introvert
"Dele be trippin for you," Natasha said. "and I've had my eyes on the idiot for a long time now." She said the last sentence in a whisper but we all heard it.
"And you'll be forming for him, now that he's dating Queen Bella you're talking. Rubbish!" Mimi snapped at her.
Miranda was like the mother of the squad. She was the rope that binded all of us together, she was a link, the reason why I was even allowed anywhere near the Cokers.
"When her beauty is intoxicating why wouldn't he trip." Natalie said.
"Guys, you're flattering me." I said, jokingly putting my right palm on my chest.
I had butterflies in my stomach
"Tear out a sheet of paper were having a test." The deep voice of Mr Rasheed, our literature teacher filled the air. A surprise test? Kill me.

I hate what you do to me. When I walk into a room full of people, I end up looking at you first, plus, you mean more to me than I'll ever let you know. At least for now.
OLIVIA'S POVI finally earned myself a permanent chair, at the senior's table, aka the golden dining table.
As soon as my eyes landed on him my heart skipped. The butterflies in my stomach gave birth to babies that gave to babies that gave birth to more babies."Hey beautiful." He grinned, even in the not so bright light, I could see his beautiful beaming face. He was wearing a white hoodie, a
