Chapter 7

As soon as my eyes landed on him my heart skipped. The butterflies in my stomach gave birth to babies that gave to babies that gave birth to more babies.

"Hey beautiful." He grinned, even in the not so bright light, I could see his beautiful beaming face. He was wearing a white hoodie, a black ripped jeans and white Nike sneakers. He was simple but yet fine.

Are you trippin'? Hell no. 

"I know I'm fine but you don't have to stare nau." He teased, obviously feeling fly.

"I was only wondering why you looked so ugly." I mocked. 

He shook his head as he sat on one of the barstool beside me.

"Hardcore sex then?" He reffrered to the man. 

"Yea. Whatever." I replied, and the man left to prepare the drinks. "Who even named this drinks?"

"I did, it's one of my party rituals." He proudly disclosed. 

"I wasn't expecting less." I hissed. 

"Anyways, I'm glad you made it."

"Okay. Great." I bluntly said.

"By the way you look beautiful tonight, you're giving me a boner." He uttered, wiggling his brows at me. 

"Do you have to be a pervert every time?" I shook my head.

"And do you have to be a prude every time?" He threw back.

"I'm not always being a prude," I angrily defend, "what do you expect me to do if I'm giving you a boner?"

"I expect you to offer to ride on my--"

I cut him off immediately, "Stop! If you finish that sentence, I'm gonna leave this party and never speak to you again."

JAYDEN'S POV

She sounded angry.

"What exactly is your problem?" I asked her.

The man brought the drinks and placed it in front of us. "I mean every time we speak, you always find a way to involve sex in the convo, and you make me look like some kind of sex starved Virgin Mary that--"

I cut her off, "Isn't that what you are?" I saw her right eye twitch with anger, and the next thing I felt on my body was chilled cocktail.

She stood up and walked away, going straight into the arms of Bamidele. Like he was waiting for her all this while. 

His arms were wrapped around her waist, and he intentionally acted like he didn't see me. 

Ouch! Like she just ditched me, for Dele. 

Bamidele was my best friend, a trained Yoruba Demon, he had three elder brothers.

BEBs (Bad Elder Brothers).

Our families have had a long history of business together, and both our dads were really good business partner, so he was like a brother to me. 

He already met Olivia before I did, so it was a kinda ritual to us, that whoever spoke to a particular girl first, would get to date and fuck her first. 

It's been going on like this since we got into SS1, and in the case of Olivia I wasn't really having it.

He walked away with her, after giving me a weird ass look. I was soaked in blue coloured cocktail, looking ridiculous to the bartender. 

I decided to go change my clothes. 

I opened my bedroom door and right there was something that broke my heart, out of the ten huge rooms in this house, they chose my room!

It was just romance but yet it hurted me so much.

"Babe, I can explain." Lillian's annoying voice filled my ear drums.

It didn't hurt me that she was kissing and letting another guy fondle her.

I felt the heartbreak that would hit her when I finally call this burden of a relationship off, I knew how much she loved me and she wouldn't dare mention another guy's name in front of me, talk more of kissing him.

It was all under the freakin' influence of alcohol but I wasn't having any of her plea, I just wanted her out of my life.

I couldn't believe that this was the same Lillian that I was infatuated with a year ago, the same Lillian I'd taken on expensive dates and shopping sprees, the same girl I had fucked with all pleasure, the same girl that had control over me, I couldn't believe, it was also the same girl I wanted out of my life so desperately.

"I'm sorry, babe. I can always make it up to you." She said whilst finding her a way into my hoodie, running her hands through my bare chest. I reached for her hands and took them off my me. 

"It's over," I snapped at her. "Now, get out of my room!"

She laughed sarcastically. "This had better be some kind of sick joke." 

"Lillian, I'm done with us." I spat in disgust, but before I could utter another word I felt her palm connect to my cheek.

Yeah, she slapped me.

The ladies decided to be mean tonight.

I made a ball out of my fist and I clenched my teeth.

"My parents thought me never to hit a woman, no matter how useless and ill mannered she might be." 

With one more look of anger, she walked out of my room, almost tripping as she walked out. 

I collapsed on my bed and sighed deeply. Ten minutes into seething silently, my iPhone beeped and I grabbed it, sliding it open. 

I had two new messages from 'Baby Face'.

I waited for her reply but she didn't text back. I went to my closet and got a white body hug shirt. I quickly slid it on and I raced down the stairs, it wasn't hard to pass through the crowd, because they had reduced, I got to the pool area, and I walked to the canopy.

There she was, grinding on Bamidele while he sat on the sofa, sipping from his red plastic disposal cup, her wig that was in a fine ponytail, was now scattered around her shoulders, she kept on flipping her hair, she looked hot, her eyes shone brighter, she was laughing so beautifully, my sister and my cousins were hailing her, and she loved what she was doing.

I was jealous that she had to do whatever she was doing, on Bamidele.

Dele was my best friend but I was beginning to dislike him.

For a girl, that you barely know?

I have to find a way to stop this!

"Announcement ladies and gentlemen!!!" I said, through a microphone that the Disk Jockey a.k.a D.J had handed me after he had stopped the music.

"I'm so sorry but as you all know, it's always a pleasure to have you guys around. The party just came to an end and I want y'all to collect your souvenir that's gonna be given to you. Thank you for choosing Jayco Academy, stay blessed and have a wonderful ride home."

No more annoying scenes from Bamidele and her.
