CHAPTER 7

We have only two days for our upcoming club presentation, I feel pressured because Andre chose me as our representative for the club contest. 

Though Ace gave me some work I managed to finish them. After the work I’ve done, I hurriedly go to the meeting, luckily I arrived right on time. I looked at Ace, he’s thinking deep, he crosses his arms and sighs, and looked at me, I looked away from before he noticed I was looking. Still I’m really tired because all of the work he gave me.

I sat down in the front and wrote down notes. 

“So. Any ideas for a science booth?” Andre ask some of the members. They have answers but its not related to science. Andre massaged his head when he heard all of the answers. 

“I mean… it’s a science booth, it has to be related to science” he said. He look stressed. 

“A planetarium?” Ace suggested. Everybody looked at him, also Andre’s face looked so interested when Ace said that. I didn’t look at him, cos I don’t really want to see his face. Its annoying.

“Go on Ace” Andre said to him. 

“A planetarium, like if you enter in the dome they will see the beauty of the universe, of course we need a dome, and who can explain all about it” he said to them, I took some notes of what he said. 

He has lots of ideas and that’s good. 

“Well anything else?” Andre asked, but no one answered him. So its Ace’s idea we will do.

“Well okay, so where can we find a dome?” Andre asked.

“Uhm yes, I have some materials we can use to build one at my mother’s house. But I have no time to go there” he said. I rested my head on the table. I’m really sleepy, after this I need a nap. 

“Lianne can get the materials!” Ace said. I looked at him. what?! Seriously! God! I really wanted to stab him, like arghh!

“Woah, she can’t go, she still needs to study--” before Andre coulld finish what his sentence. 

I sighed and said. “hurry up and give me that address”.

Andre looked at me and I know his worried about me “Lianne are you serious?” Andre asked. 

“Yeah I have some time, I just want to can do it” I answered. I glared at Ace and he smirked back at me. What a devil!

Ace gave me the address. I arrived at a nice village, I pouted when I realize something, he didn’t give me the full address, Godness! 

I entered the village, asked someone for directions, but they didn’t where it was either!

It’s hot and I’m tired. As I heard barking behind me, I turned my head and saw this big dog running at me. I hurriedly run and climbed up a tree. The dog still barking at me

“Shoo!! Shoo!!” I screamed. Luckily someone called the dog, a man with a security uniform looked at me.

“I’m sorry miss, he’s not used to see visitors around here” he said and I slowly got back down from tree. 

The man asked. “Are you okay?”. I nod as an answer and sighed. 

“I’m really sorry miss. How can I make it up to you?” he asked.

“Well, can you tell me where can I find the Anderson’s house?” I asked. 

“Oh! You’re the girl Sir Ace talked about, are you hereto get the materials for the dome?” he asked. 

“Yes! I am” I answered. 

“I’m their security guard, come with me miss” he said. After minutes of walking we stopped at the big black gate. 

“You should wait here miss, there are lots of dogs inside. Sir Ace is a big fan of dogs” he said. 

I nod and said “Okay, I’ll wait” 

He entered with the dog. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and I saw a message from my unknown chat mate. 

“Hey how are you?” he asked. 

I smiled while reading his message and typed “I’m fine, just tired” to him.

Few seconds later he text back “then rest. Where are you though?” he asked again.

“Somewhere doing some errand, you?” I asked. I heard the security guard coming and handed me a box. 

“The materials for the dome is inside the box, and here some water, it’s pretty hot outside” he said to me, I nodded and smiled at him. 

“Thank you so much” I said. 

While walking outside the village my phone rang and I hurriedly answer the phone. 

“Hello?” I greeted.

“Lianne how are you?” It’s Andre.

“I’m okay, I’m on my way to deliver the materials at the school” I said to him. 

“No. Go home and take some rest” he said.

“What Why? What about the materials for the dome?” I asked. 

“I will be the one to get it from your house, take some rest its too much work for you” he said. I sighed well his right I really need some rest. 

“Okay” I said and hung up.

Andre’s POV

When Lianne hung up and sighed and put my phone back in my pocket, I heard Ace whistling as he entered the room. 

“Yo Andre” he greeted.

“Ace you shouldn’t do that Lianne” I said to him while arranging something. 

“Do what?” he ask innocently. I secretly rolled my eyes and look at him. 

“You’re too hard to Lianne. Damn it Ace, I know what she did but don’t do that to her you don’t know anything” I said. 

“Oh how would you know?” Ace asked sarcastically.

“She’s my best friend damn it. You don’t understand anything Ace quit it” I said and walk away. 

“Hey! Where are you going?” he asked. 

“I’m going to get the materials from Lianne she needs a break” I said to him. I shouldn’t have made her the secretary, I hope she’s alright.
