“Lianne! Lianne wake up!” I slowly opened my eyes and I saw my kuya.
“Kuya what is it?” I asked and realized I’m on the floor sleeping.
“You’re going to be late, and why are you sleeping on the floor?” he asked.
Well I don’t even know why.
“Did Andre come here?” I asked.
“Yeah, are you okay you look sick” he said to me, I nod as an answer
“I’m okay” I answered.
“You should get ready, you have messy study table here” he said.
I smiled and answered “I studied all night for today”
Kuya sighed and helped me get up “You shouldn’t push yourself so hard” he said to me.
“Its okay. How’s Naomi?” I ask, he itched his head and smiled.
“Yeah she’s fine, you should go to the bathroom I’ll wait for you downstairs” he said to me. I nod as an answer.
I washed my face and wore my school uniform. I went down and I saw kuya waiting for me.
“Lianne,you haven’t eat your breakfast here” mom said as she handed me a lunch box and said to me “Eat up while your brother is driving, take care okay?” I nodded and entered my brother’s car.
We arrived at school and both hurriedly went to our booths. When I arrived the booth was fine, students were entering our booth.
“Lianne!” I turned my head and saw Naomi and Kiara, I waved at them.
“How are you?” Kiara asked and smiled at me.
“I was really busy, sorry and I’m fine” I sanswered.
“Well you’re here, what about going somewhere lets enjoy the booth” Kiara said excitedly.
“I don’t know I really need to review for later” I said to them.
“You should go with them Lianne, go have some fun”
I turned my head and saw Andre smiling at me “but how about---” I didn’t finish my sentence and he said something.
“Don’t worry about it, I know you can do it, take a time out and have fun” he said.
“Hmm… okay, I’ll see you later then” I said while waving at him, We explore all of the clubs. Some were boring and some were exciting. After that we ended up in the cafeteria. I was so hungry.
“Lianne are you really okay?” Kiara asked me again. I sighed while looking at her.
“Yes. How many times do I have to tell you, I really am okay” I answered while eating.
“Hmm… I don’t know. You don’t look fine to me. What did you even do last night?” Kiara asked. I know they’re just concerned about me, but they need to trust me that I am really okay.
“I don’t have enough sleep that’s all” I answered.
“What? Why?” Naomi asked.
“I studied last night” I answered. They raised a brow.
“Lianne, yesterday was Sunday you had all day” Naomi said as she leaned and crossed her arms.
“Ace giving you a hard time right?” Kiara said while raising a brow.
“What? And you just let him do that to you?!” Naomi raised her voice, I sighed and look at them straight.
“I got to go, the science quiz will start” I said.
“What, wait?! Lianne!” Naomi called.
“I promise we’ll talk about this later, okay?” I said and hurriedly went to the gym.
Naomi’s Point of View
“God that girl” I said and sighed.
“We should go to, let’s watch Lianne” Kiara said. I nod as an answer and went to the gym to support Lianne, The science quiz was starting and she was fine, she had lots of correct answers.
“Lianne really did her best” Andre commented.
“Who wouldn’t? she even stayed up all night just to study” Kiara answered while she crossed her arms.
“What?!” he said and look at us.
“ God, Ace!” he commented.
“Ace is behind all of this? So Ace is the reason why Lianne was exhausted. Just one look at Lianne and you’ll know she’s sick” I said to him while raising a brow. Why was Lianne okay with it, She knew that Ace was really hard on her, right?
We heard a buzzing sound. When that sound played it means someone got a wrong answer. We looked and it was Lianne.
Minutes later. As we were waiting for Lianne we saw her going to the back stage. We followed her and saw her crying. We called out to her,”Lianne!” but she ran away.
“Wait Lianne. Where are you going?” I said. I looked around the stage and I saw Ace crossing his arms and then walking away.
I ran towards him and slapped him in the face.
“What the hell woman! What is wrong with you!” he said angrily.
“What did you do to Lianne?” I asked
“What its true, she is useless---” he was saying, when Liam punched him in the face.
“You’re the one who’s behind this you jerk! If anything happens to my sister, I ‘m gonna kill you!” he shouted at him.
“Liam, that’s enough” I said to Liam.
“If you lay a finger on my sister again I’ll make sure you get punched in the face”.
“Enough Liam! let’s just go look for your sister” I said and left Ace.
