Chapter 8

I woke up feeling quite better and felt something strong beneath me, I turned round and here was Drake sleeping peacefully, he was cute, I thought to myself.

His brows were perfectly arched and I couldn't help but trace my fingers on them.

He opened his eyes gentle and caught me in the act.

I tried to turn quickly, but he gripped me on my waist and faced me to him.

Making our body have contact.

"Go-Good morning", I murmured.

" Good morning", he answered.

I tried to get off him but he held me on tightly.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"We are now", I said.

"Are you feeling better now", he asked.

I nodded my head and he smiled at me.

" You look beautiful, even when you wake up", he said as he tugged some strands of hair behind my air.

He moved closer to me. My heart was racing just as his lips brushed mine, Christopher just got in and was shocked.

"Oh! My!! My!!! Am so sorry, I didn't mean to come in like that", he said quickly and left.

I quickly got up from Drake hold but he still held me tightly. I threw daggers at him but he smiled at me.

"Amanda", he said looking at me.

"Yes" I answered staring at him.

" There's something I really want to talk you about", he stated.

I nodded, telling him to continue.

" I really like you Amanda",he said.

I felt my heart floating.

No!this can't be!!! I thought within myself.

I swallowed hard and looked at him surprisingly.

" Have liked you for the first time I set my eyes on you, I know the reason why you damn cold but I can make a change of that. That guy really did a shitty mess to you but please don't let your past still hook up with you",he stated.

I didn't realize the tears that formed on my face until he used his thumb to clean it.

"So Ammy, I want something between us", he said.

Did he just said us.

I didn't even know what to say, I have never been so emotional for once in my life and here I am almost crying.

"I can give you time to think about it",he said his face looking downcast.

" Uhm! Let's give it a try", betrayed my own words.

He breathed out as if any word I said would take the life out of him.

"Does that mean a yes",he asked happily.

I nodded my head to assure him.

He pulled me to him for a tight hug.

"Thank you! Thank you!!",he murmured into my hair.

I lifted my face and looked at me and he kissed my forehead.

My stomach grumbled.

"Seems like someone is hungry", he laughed.

" Yeah!" I said and rolled my eyes at him.

We got out from bed and I went into the bathroom to have a bath, I finished and peeped into the room to see if Drake was still in the room.

He has already left, so I got dressed in jeans and wore a big cardigan, I felt a little bit cold that's why I decided to wear it.

I didn't put on any make up and pulled my hair up into a messy bun.

I got out of my room and went downstairs.

I saw Christopher, I felt a little awkward when he caught me and Drake in that position.

"Good morning", I greeted him.

"Good morning, hope you slept well",he said.

" Uhm! Yeah", I replied.

I sat on the dinning table and he served me break fast.

" Hmmm!! Yummy yummy", I said as the fresh smell of the food passed through my nostrils.

"The best cook is at your finger tips",he said laughing.

And I couldn't help grin at him.

Drake joined us at the table and made eye contacts with me.

I smiled at him and concentrated on my food.

"We will be going back to America tonight",he said.

"Oh really", I said as I munched on my food.

"Awwn!! I won't be seeing much of Miss Amanda", Christopher said in a sad childish manner.

We finished our breaking and I went back into my room.

Thoughts of Austin coming back for me flash through my mind.

But I waved it off, that Drake is there for me.

I didn't know why, I thought that way of Drake being protective of me but I know he would.

I picked up my phone and dialled Annie's number. It's been long have talked with her.

Not like it has been ages, but I missed talking to her. She picked on the first call.

"Ammy!!!", She squealed into the phone.

Annie will never stop doing that.

"How are you", I asked her.

" Am fine, how is things going on in London, I saw your picture with Mr. Hottie on the tab, you both make a great couple", she said feeling satisfied with herself.

I couldn't help roll my eyes at her choice of words.

"Will you stop talking that way", I asked her.

" So tell me, I guess something should have happened between you and Mr. Hottie", she said curiously.

" I will tell you everything, when I get home tonight", I said.

" Really!! OMG!!!, it's not true", she said laughing.

" Annie, I haven't told you anything and you are making conclusion", I said annoyingly.

" Ok! Ok!! Have heard but how big is he", she said.

My eyes nearly popped out of its socket.

" Annie, we haven't even gotten to that stage", I said almost embarrassed.

" Ok, I can't wait to see you and don't forget I love you",she sing-sang.

"I love you too, bye", I said and hanged up.

I laid on bed and closed my eyes, can't wait to get back home.

It was already 4:00PM and our flight will be in the next one hour.

I have already packed my bag and was still thinking maybe I should go meet Drake.

I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in", I said.

It was Drake, he was already dressed, he just wore a casual clothes and he looked damn hot.

"Are you ready", he said as he sat beside me.

"Yep", I answered.

"Then let's start going", he said as he stood up and picked up my bag.

I wanted to help him but he refused.

I followed him downstairs and said my farewell to Christopher. He was almost crying when I hugged him.

The driver was already waiting for us. Me and Drake got in and the driver drove us to the airport.
