It's good to hear when Jeruel told me about the advances she played towards Joshua.  Wouldn't shade die of frustration if she finds out how her prince charming was dancing around the beautiful girl she wasn't?

Just has Shade assured me about his whereabouts, Jeruel confirmed he was already at J and J bar at seven in the evening. She was already seated in the darkened angle of the bar and watched him sit on the bar stool. Slowly and slowly she walked and sit next to him, tossed a glass of whiskey to him as he gulped it down, and slapped the glass on the bar before turning his face away.

I knew Jeruel was the perfect lady for the job. Not only was she beautiful, she was a girl I trust can play her cards right. Now, what man can go all the way without falling in the shackles of a Queen of beauty Queens, a Princess and ambassador of awesomeness.

According to Jeruel, she called on him with a smile that seemed never to stop as her teeth kept glittering. She bet he could see her teeth which was as white as snow. He smiled back to her and a handshake he gave to her.

I wouldn't know Joshua would be as easy. Well, I wouldn't say I was completely surprised, Shade told me he loves booty and boobs. What else would I expect from a man like that? Even if he wasn't, what man, would see Jeruel and not worship her feet?

Jeruel explained in detail he turned his face back to her in glorious admiration and with the handshake, he vomited his name. She received his awed stare, and his golden handshake as she said her name to him. He continued to gaze as he called on the bartender to pour her a drink.

I knew this would come easily but not as this easy. Maybe Joshua was a man whore after all. A dog in a sheep clothing. I have always warned that men are scam. They are all for what is between the legs. They only want to drive and leave their victim abandoned. Such a pity that Shade's love was actually everybody's love.

Music began to play in the background as they both stepped on to the dancing floor.what if Shade just stepped into the bar at that moment, it would have been a mission successful but only God knows where she had gone. She just couldn't be at the right place at the right time.

Jeruel will not stop making a joke out from the words she told me he continued to chew in a whisper to her ears.

“You are beautiful, so beautiful” she said he says.

Maybe he was drunk, I wouldn't believe he was too quickly. Shade was précised enough that he doesn't drink to stupor. But how do we explain the fact that Jeruel kissed his cheek, and he didn't make an effort to resist or, could it be that a kiss on the cheek meant nothing to him?

They continued to dance but slowly as they tell about themselves to each other. Jereul had made me understand all what she said was a take by moonlight. However, she could attest Joshua said the truth about himself but not entirely. I mean, why was he avoiding the fact he was in a relationship? They even exchanged contact.

How pitiful for my dearest friend Shade, upon everything it only took less than a minute to make the love of her life swept off his feet. Could it be that he had no control over any beautiful lady? And where is the love now? Where is the love she kept promising he has for her.

How awesome would it be if she finally finds out and thus, cut ties with him? Maybe he can then be mine. Though he could be a man whore but who would look at me and look away too? I am just as beautiful. A rose, most precious gift anybody can have and would not want to let go.  Would he have me and look elsewhere? Maybe if Shade had been beautiful, or at least a little pretty, maybe he wouldn't be so over joyous with Jeruel? But what to do when a person you are in a relationship with is second to a baboon?

For a long while he enjoyed the dance and afterwards jereul wants to let go he moved closely to her and asked her why she wanted to leave him all alone. Jeruel was précised to have informed me she smiled and whispered into his ear they were sure going to see again. After all, it's a small world, and she has his number.

She said she pretended to have gone but that was what she wanted him to think. Whereas she was in a dark corner of the bar, keeping her watch on her. Now, this is what I called an excellent move and more of a reason why Jeruel should be crowned the queen of the smart. She said he appeared sad and lonely that she was gone as he continued pouring himself more drinks and more drinks until drank the entire bottle.

The more I looked at Shade the more happy I became. After all, her ship will soon sink into bottom sea. After all, the love of her life will soon be her greatest enemy. Let her taste how loneliness is, let her feel what I experienced maybe she'd think twice before acting and placing me in an uncomfortable situation next time.

She picked her phone and placed a call to Joshua alerting him she wanted to come over. This time I felt no disdain, no sadness or jealousy. Let her go sooner or later she would need a shoulder to cry on. After all, what are friends for.

She walked slowly into the bathroom and took her bath. Her makeup was from the new makeup kit she just bought as she finally stepped outside the room.

  • Poisonous Lips [Nigerian Vibe]   Eyes of an Eagle

Dusk was falling rapidly. The sun had already set behind the mountains, and the sky had been drained of colors. It was already the close of a day, wasn't it some seconds ago the day started?Shade and I had just arrived from class. I could see her lips moving but all she said only went through my ear and came out the other. How can I make Joshua mine became a question that seemed a puzzle.“Maybe I need to keep a close watch on him. But, I mean, I don't even know about him than he is dating Shade. I don't know where he lives or anything else.” I took a slow, deep breath as my mind lingered more in thought.“Or, should I just ask her? Would it be a good idea?”Shade was completely carried away by her phone as she continued to laugh in mirthfulness artlessly flowing. I wondered what was so funny but I wasn't that curious to find out. The curiosity I had was tha

  • Poisonous Lips [Nigerian Vibe]   A flock of Gulls

It seemed fast but Jeruel and I were able to get along as we have so many things in common. Though, it has just been two weeks it seemed we have known each other forever and every day In class, I would always go find her, sit with her, and we would talk as much as we want to.She told me a lot from her past relationships; how guys had promised her heaven and earth only to get between her legs. I could deduce from all she told me that she was a girl who loves the physical appearance. Of course, who wants to be with someone with a gorilla face? She was what I termed 'Queen of beauty Queens'. The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes. She walked in beauty, like the night of cloudless climes and starry skies. Her magnificent physique was a perfect representation of a goddess. Who dares look at her and not have a second look?

The morning came slowly but the long night was a splendid one. It was nice to hear the birds chorus in harmony and the disturbing voices of other villa mates again. I reflected back into yesterday with a curse that almost vomited from my mouth."Why on earth will a Hausa woman call my line asking for a Muhammad? Why on earth will a strange number not call and the caller should be one of the richest person in Africa? Must it be always a Hausa? Abi e no wan better..."The more I tried to reflect more backward the more Shade's snore hinders my thinking."But wait, how can a lady sleeps so comfortably and snore like a buzz saw. Haven't Joshua seen this side of this girl yet? Some guys can be tasteless Sha, in as much you are under skirt, they must woo you abi, that's what they came to this life to do?" - I muttered."So you love Joshua and can do anything and everything for him. But can h

  • Poisonous Lips [Nigerian Vibe]   New Semester

The atmosphere was glaring and azured. It shined beautifully on each and everyone as students began to troop in and out of the school environment. Shade and I had just resumed like every other students. Such beautiful smile that rested on our faces formed a furrowed brown and we waved to each person as we walked pass them. I couldn't help but imagined what the semester would be like, would it be as unfitting or unacademic like the last semester?Dele and I haven't spoken since the last time I ended things with him. I didn't miss him though, maybe just his touch. He was a guy that really knew how to satisfy his lady. But that wasn't enough, I wanted more. All through the holiday, he would call on few times but I would intentionally not pick his call until he stopped calling for good and that was fine with me.Shade and Joshua are still the love birds soaring high in the high heavens. Shade seemed not to ever grow tired of him and he will no

  • Poisonous Lips [Nigerian Vibe]   Breakup

The breeze injected with multiple endurance as I crawled out of bed to brush my teeth. Though dawn came slowly, it was followed by the brilliant blue sky of morning. I disconnected the charger from my phone since it was already fully charged. It was Saturday and all I could think about was how and only how I would get my dirty clothes washed. If I were to be home, using a washing machine would have been easy and my problem would have been solved in just no time. But here in school, my hands will have to do the job. I carried out my laundry, it was a heavy load but still I have no choice than to do it by hand.I started hand-washing my clothes, squeezing each one hard and harder in the bucket. This is evey students frustration, shouldering the worries of washing by hand. Particularly in my hostel, everyone were at one angle or the other with their hands as their savior. Shade was no difference too, she was there in a corner battling the mou
