Chapter 9 ~ Where is she?

As soon as Isere opened the door to her room and Ejiro saw her, Ejiro rushed to her pulling her hair.

"Where were you?!" She asked with an hint of worry laced on her tone. When Isere had not returned last night, she had dialed her number but the phone was switched off.

She didn't have Morgan's phone number, she decided to not panic believing they might come back late but they didn't even when she woke up the next day.

Ejiro knew Isere was naive and if things got messed up in the club, Morgan could easily find her way out leaving Isere to survive alone.

Isere hissed with pain as Ejiro fingers came in contact with her soft hair. "I was scared, do you know?" Ejiro told her finally letting go of her hair and hugging Isere.

"I'm sorry for making you worry," Isere said. Ejiro sighed before ushering her to go take her bath and later come to tell her what had happened in the club.

After some minute, Isere came back into the room, with a blue towel wrapped around her body, she was glad it was weekend already or else, she wouldn't be able to cope.

After getting dressed in a simple cotton top and blue three quarter jean, she combed her hair before packing them in a bun. Isere was naturally beautiful, she needed no make up to show her beauty as she was captivating without them.

Isere began to tell Ejiro all that had happened from Morgan introducing her to some girls and how a girl was choking herself with a penis, how she had wanted to try smoking, how she had danced with a stranger but had no memories of what went down. Ejiro gasped hearing all Isere just told her.

She shook her head with sadness, Isere was just too naive that she didn't know how to differentiate bad from good and even if she did, she didn't want to.

She kept quiet for Isere to continue; Isere told her how she woke up with only her undies in a big room, on a king size bed, she also told her of the kind gentleman who didn't take advantage of her and had told her what had happened. Isere smiled when she told Ejiro about Kelvin.

He was indeed a fine man with dignity.

"Better thank your stars that it's not a Yahoo boy that took you home, they go use your Pata lo fera Benz!" Ejiro hissed. (They will use your panties to buy Benz)

"Isere!" Ejiro called her name pulling her ear. "I don't want to seem like the bad friend but I don't like that Morgan, where is she now? She took you to club and forgot you, what if you got raped ehn?!" Ejiro raised her voice making sure her message would get to Isere.

Isere was taken back by Ejiro's action, she wondered Ejiro's problem, the way Ejiro spoke to her irritated her and she didn't like it.

"I wasn't raped and it was nice going out, i am not like you whose parents let go anywhere she wants, i was never given the privilege to move around and now that i saw an opportunity and took it, you are against it!" Isere raised her voice getting up from where she was sitting down, she was pissed and annoyed. Ejiro didn't have the right to talk to her that way.

Ejiro sighed, "I'm not saying you shouldn't go out, I'm just saying, be careful and conscious! Where is Morgan? I'm sure she's not bothered about you, you left with her, it was her duty to make sure you are comfortable and make sure you are okay!" Ejiro tried explaining but it wasn't getting to Isere.

"I'm safe right, that's all that matters and besides, it was nice having to be in a place without thinking of my parents for once, why didn't you follow then?" Isere asked her.

"Clubbing isn't what i am in school for, i am here to learn, and i need to get my head in the game first, as a first year student, it is the time where you make sure you GP is really high because fighting for better marks gets tougher as you get to a different level," Ejiro explained to her.

Isere knew what Ejiro just said was true but Ejiro was only speaking this way because even if she goes back home, she had freedom while for her, her freedom was limited.

"Where is my wig Sha?" Ejiro asked her.

Isere gasped remembering that she woke up with no wig on her head, could it be at Kevin's place? She thought to herself.

"I have forgotten it," Isere told her.

Ejiro looked at Isere in a kind of way before speaking up, "Do you know how much i got that human hair and how much i used to make that wig in total?" Ejiro asked her leaving Isere dumbstrucked.

"That human hair cost #33,000 Isere, to make it a wig, almost #40,000 wig that you forgot," Ejiro spoke.

Ejiro wasn't angry, she wasn't mad but she was concerned, it took her three months to gather that money and before she had turned it into a wig, she had fixed it on her hair first.

Isere began to panic, her phone was with Morgan and she gave Kelvin her number, what if he did not call? If he did, she could ask him. She didn't have that much money.

Suddenly, the door opens revealing Morgan reeking of alcohol, she looked messed up.

Morgan could feel the tension in the room, so she spoke up, "what is going on here?"
