Chapter 9

freaking me out- Ava max 🎶 

Priscy spends the next one hour applying make up...and now she's finishing up with her brown powder and applying some bronzer again to highlight the whole thing.

"Such a beau"i need to look good as well but I'd prefer to do something way more lighter and nude... I dont really like the attention that comes from these make up things.

I feel like I should be applying heavy make up if it was a special occasion like my wedding, convocation or something of those sorts.

 By now I was already dressed in my black crop top and grey jeans and hang my white tote bag over my shoulder and then begin with my make up.

  

I just used my concealer to shapen my brows without drawing it... "that's some real talent there" i thank my subconscious mentally then procede to blend my concealer on my face. Apparently I dont have a make up kit .

    

I use my nude lipstick on my lower lip and my brown eye pencil to shade the upper before applying a lip gloss to top it "paaaa!"

    

"I like how you're able to look so cool and nude with just a lil of your make up stuffs" coming from Noah

 "Dont flatter me"i blush admiring myself in my mirror.

 "Maybe you should add an eye liner or what do you think.." as i'm busy scrutinizing my look

"yea..you can" noah responds

"but make it not a thick one o..."Priscy suggests

and there you have it....I 

take out my eye lining lid and make some tiny catty line there.

    

By now, we hurry to get a cab...Drew's already waiting at the cinema. The cab drops us at the school main gate and we walk down to the bus stop to board a bus and zoom...we're off

     

   

The mega cinema..boldly written at the upfront of the building.

"We're here already..hollup" priscy says on the phone

   

       

Must be Drew .We're actually meeting again. At this thought, my lips pull upwards into a smile and my eyes blink as if to say what did you just do..

    

We walk in and climb up the stairs...the air is so cold...and i didnt bring no jacket

  

How could I have not reasoned as far as this.

Needless to admit, the hall was ventilated enough with air conditioners and the elevator was lined with silver and grey. The elevator stopped at the forth floor..this should be the second to the last floor and as the door is bout to open...I pull out a brim of thread poking out of my jean..something must have scratched the side

"Heyy guys...." I can sight Drew waving at us from the other side where the popcorns and tickets are sold.

  

   

We walk up to him and his mouth could nothing but curl up sweetly, and just after the exchanging of pleasantries.. 

" just few minutes before you got here, i got to find out the movie actually starts by 9.45pm" His hesitant voice sounded 

 My eyes were popping and head ringing "what!!"

 

Why do I feel like he must have done this on purpose or they actually knew about it or something cause as it is they're not even startled in anyway but whaaat!!!

 "Ok let's wait then"priscy says calmly like it was nothing new

" I need to use the ladies"I actually just wanted to go and try to breathe, a hint of panic, fear, and dismay whirls me instantly and just then, priscy says "likewise me"

      

What is all this, I ask myself.

obviously my face must have been pale I figured that why she followed suite

   

Getting there, I make a right about turn to face Priscy "calm down renee" and thats just before I blurt out!

 

"9.45pm is extremely late..young lady"

"You wouldnt want to leave now..would you?...ok fine then not like I can hold you down " she says with hands in the air as if to surrender 

  

"Ptchh..." is all I can manage to say as I click my teeth

I really cant leave now, weighing my options..I cant move down to hostel alone..the earth rather opens up and swallow me

"See...it's fineee...no one can just harm you especially for the fact that you're not even here alone unless you're trying to say we'd plan to kidnap youu??"

 

"Ohh no no" I say breathing out heavily.

 She pulls me into a warm hug..this one was needed right now..but i wont cry..I feel her breathe blow my skin as she exhale lightly

     

She brings her phone from her small bag and starts to use snap chat...we take some pictures to the mirror..life selfies and make few videos. By now, I was at ease at least.
