Chapter 14

Josiah- 

It had been several days and no sign of Rosemary. I took a search party out all through the surrounding townes looking high and low and we found nothing. My father seemed a little to anxious to help me find her. What was he up to? Draco, my father, being the Alpha King had a lot of secrets. He was a fearless ruler and stopped at nothing to get what he wanted. 

It seemed since I found Rosemary he was having more and more meetings with the Order. The Order consisted of the top titles in both the werewolf and Vatican officials and the likes there of. 

I was on my way back to the castle from a long run. After fooling around with Rosemary my wolf was yearning for more of her sweet taste and I found it hard to focus on anything else. I was in a daze when our packs beta John walked towards me. 

“Josiah your father would like a word with you. He says it’s urgent.” 

“It’s always urgent. Take some more search parties out and let me know if anything comes up. This time I want you to lead them out of the perimeter deep into the woods to the far townes.”

“Yes alpha.” 

Walking towards the door to the council to meet my father, I could hear arguments erupting. I listened in before entering. 

“She’s probably with him now getting her brains fucked out.”

“That’s all we need dealing with some devil werewolf baby.” 

“How do we know she hasn’t or won’t kill Lucifer? She spent her life training for this and with Enora none the less. She used mind control tactics that don’t just go away, there’s still a chance we can find her and administer the rest of the serum. Then she is ours.” 

I could see my father standing with his hand raised to silence them.

“We must administer the rest of the serum. After changing her myself when she was a young child, we established a mate bound connecting her to my son. Hopefully if Lucifer hasn’t found her, she will come for Josiah. As you know, it is very strong at the beginning of her change. We will lure her here and finish what we started. With the rest of the serum she will be a weapon for us unlike the world has ever known.” 

I burst through the door not caring at all the glares I was receiving. 

“What the fuck is going on?! I won’t let you take Rosemary and turn her into a weapon at your disposal!!” My wolf was threatening to tare their heads off one by one. She was mine and no one else’s. How fucking dare they. 

Draco seemed a little shaken, not expecting me to have heard their secret banter.

“She was created from the side of Lucifer to be his bride. To reign in terror with that monster. We had to do something Josiah.” 

“SHE WAS AN INNOCENT!!” I screamed across the room echoing through the halls. “You should never have done this!”

I stormed out with a fury. How could they use a helpless child for their gain? Was she really flesh and bone of Lucifer, the Evil one? I was scared for her. I had to protect her. I had to find her before they did. I shifted to gain some speed and set out, this time I would trek a little farther.
