Charlotte's POV.

        Excited. I've been so excited about today. Cilla wore white tank top, while mine is dark green, and i wore a black leather jacket, she wore a White see through jacket that had black tiny stripes. Black skinny jeans and i wore dark green sneakers and Cilla wore a white sneakers. And i took my purse.

"We are gonna be late!!" I said anxiously as she finished my make up, it consisted of mascara, eye liner, a little touch of powder and lip gloss. Hers had the same except she put on a black eye shadow. I packed my hair a ponytail and  we went out. We went to the dinning room and paid respects to the Queen🙄 and sat. The maids placed the food on the table.

"How was your night?" Xavier asked me and i gave a  tight smile.

"It was nice. Thank you!!" I replied and continued eating.

"And who is the beautiful lady?" Queen Lorraine asked.

"This is Priscilla, i call her Cilla, she is my very good best friend and is here to help with the wedding!!" I said.

"Cilla, this is Queen Lorraine of Gardenia!!" I introduced and Cilla bowed her head.

"Its a pleasure meeting you your Highness!!" She said.

"Me too. I just hope you are nothing like Charlotte?" She asked.

"Mom..." Xavier said.

"No. I mean, if she is a good girl, she will help with Charlotte. Or are you annoyed?" She asked looking at me. I gave my best fake smile.

"Of course not!!" I replied and she smiled.

"Wonderful. She already knows her manners!!" She said.

"Mom....."

"No Xavier!!" I said and continued my food. I can't wait to get married to him and i will have so much to say. I still have less power and i will later. Later i become Queen. Queen Charlotte has a  nice ring to it.

"So, what do you do Priscilla?" She asked smiling.

"I will be a doctor in few months!!" She replied and her smile grew wider.

"Wow!! That is so nice." She said and i rolled my eyes.

"Yes mother and i will appreciate it if you don't talk about our guest anymore!!" Xavier said and i smiled. I liked the way he gave command.

"Xandra is arriving on Wednesday. We should have a welcome party for her!!" She continued. Who the heck is Xandra?

"We are in the house fellas!!" I heard a yell and we turned to see Derek, Andrew, Matthew and Marya came in.

"Dude, shut up!!" Derek said.

"I don't know where he got his friends!!" Queen Lorraine muttered.

"A good morning to you your highness. I am so sorry for the disrespectful manner my friend here showed." Derek said, he looked so serious and firm.

"Well, i just hope it doesn't happen again because he won't be able to walk into the palace again!!" She said smiling. How can you say something evil and smile.

"I'm so sorry your highness!! We will just be outside!!" Derek said and looked over to me and winked. I gave a small wave.

"We're sorry your highness!!" The others said and left with Derek.

"Well, that is my cue to leave!!" Xavier said.

"What about Xandra?" Queen Lorraine asked.

"Well, you can do all you want." He said and stood up.

"I will see you later your highness, Lady Lacey!!" He said.

"Have a nice day dear!!" Mom said and i drank my water.

"Let's go!!" I whispered to Cilla and stood up.

"Have a good day your highness, Lacey...." I said bowing to Lorraine and nodding to Lacey.

"Have fun!! Bye Cilla!!" She said.

"Have a  nice day Aunt Lacey, your majesty!!" She bowed and we scurried away.

As soon as we got out, Cilla and i burst out laughing.

"I don't know why I'm laughing, but you have to see the way i was so scared seeing her lady royal!!" She said.

"Oh no...., her majesty. Don't call my sweet mother in-law that way. She's her royal majesty!!" I said sarcastically.

"Way to be sarcastic Charlotte!!" I heard that voice. I turned to see Xavier walking to us in a white button up shirt and black blazer and black trousers. His hands in his pockets.

"Are you going to the fest like this?" I asked him.

"I have to be in a meeting we do. I'm sorry I'm telling you late but it is important and i have to attend the meeting!!" He replied.

"Okay....., but, what about the fest?" I asked him.

"Well, that i asked Derek to come." He said.

"So we are going with Derek and the rest....., with Marya?" I asked. He nod. And we were having a staring competition.

"That's okay..., right?" Cilla asked and i turned to Cilla.

"Well that was intense!!" She said smiling.

"Whatever. Lets go!!" I said and turned. I thought this was going to be me and cilla and he and Derek. But Marya? Isn't it fun?

"Be expecting me a little bit later!!" He said and i just continued making my journey.

"Hey guys!!" I said and they all looked at us.

"Sup Char. Who is this beautiful damsel?" Andrew asked and i rolled my eyes.

"My best friend Cilla. Cilla this is Andrew, Matthew and Marya!!" I said.

"Hi!!" She said.

"This is Cilla!!" I said and they said hi.

"Where is Derek?" I asked them.

"Oh, he will be here in a minute." Andrew replied. And gave a hand to Cilla to guide her to sit.

"Thanks!!" Cilla said and sat refusing his hands. I sat too. Great, I'm left with a forward flirt, a quiet flirt, and a ......, oh well Marya, i don't think i can describe her yet!! I mean, come on.....!! How sure am i that they aren't dating or something? I mean, its obvious Xavier likes her and she gives him those eyes. That read i like you but i can't have you!!

"Uhmm, hi!!" She said. Oh, maybe i stared at her too long.

"Hi Marya....," i said and she gave a nervous smile before reading her book. She wore a dark blue high waist jeans, pink top that has a collar, a brown sweater with the collar on the sweater and black and brown coloured sneakers. Her glasses intact, she had little make up and  brown curly hair fell on her stomach. She was beautiful and cute, i will give her that. But the word sexy is not her forte, now that's mine. Plus i have that pretty face which was a plus. I smiled like a million dollars. Gosh, I'm such a bully.

"So, i made sure Xavier won't stay too long. My father isn't around....., thankfully!!" I heard Derek say as he walked towards us. I looked at Cilla.

"So, that is Dere....." I couldn't believe she wasn't even listening to me. She was checking Derek out. Seriously?

"Cilla!!" I said and she looked at me.

"Oh hey..., sup?" She said and i raised my eyebrow.

"Derek hnn? Your fancy?" I asked her.

"No..., what are you talking about?" She asked me. I smiled.

"Oh you do know!! I'll set you up k?" I said and she opened her mouth to object but was cut off my Derek.

"So..., who is our new guest Char?" He asked and plopped beside Cilla. I felt her tense.

"Oh Derek, this is Cilla. Cilla, this is Derek!!" I introduced and they looked at each other.

"Welcome to Gardenia!!" He said and she smiled nervously.

"Thank you De-Derek!!" She said and i smiled.

"Good, now can we go?" I asked them.

"Sure, but i am very hungry, so i will get a burger at the way!!" Derek said.

"Kk!! Lets go!!"

We got to the fair and i must say it is beautiful. Derek sure knows a lot of people and we were having a lot of fun, until someone decided to get an allergy!!😏.

"..., bless you!!" Cilla said and Marya nod.

"Thank you!!" She said and sneezed again, Derek handed her a tissue. Who the hell hates dogs?

"I'm sorry, i didn't know you didn't like dogs!!" Cilla said. Lemme tell you what happened. Derek and Matthew went to order, Andrew was busy flirting with girls he saw and was away trying desperately to get a petite girl number, Cilla came with a dog fur perfume, i don't know where she got that from and squealed saying how happy she was she could have it. I on the other hand, was happy that i won't spend another awkward time with boring nerdy Marya over here. Anyways, she sprayed it and Marya sneezed which landed on my jacket and i gave her a  dirty glare which made her jump nervously and fell. Is my glare that dangerous? She hit her head and p.s, still sneezing!!

"Hey what happened?" I heard Xavier's voice as he went to Marya, he knelt beside her checking her temperature.

"I'm so sorry your hi....." I raised my eyebrows at Cilla and she closed her mouth.

"I didn't know she was allergic to Dogs!!" Cilla said and i rolled my eyes.

"Its okay Priscilla." Xavier said and i drank my milkshake.

"And...., i gave her a glare which made her fall!!" I said eating my croissants.

"You gave her a glare? What did she do to deserve that?" He asked.

"Nothing much..., she just sneezed on my jacket!!" I replied and he looked at me.

"Just because she sneezed....., you knew it was not on purpose!!" He said.

"Yes, that is why i didn't insult her!!" I said. I knew i was behaving like a selfish bitch but come on!! I didn't give her that bad of a glare. And i actually didn't anymore. It was just involuntary. And everyone knows i don't take shit!!

"I don't want you giving Marya glares." He said.

"Wow!!" I said and stood up. I took my purse and walked away. I walked to an area and hit the wall with my purse. Fuck!! Fuck him!! I called Joshua.

"Hey Lady....."

"I'm coming to New York. Plus...., i need a personal assistant as soon as i get there, can you help me?" I asked him.

"Whoa, whoa there Char. Hold your horses,  you can't come to New York!!" He said.

"Why is that?" I asked him.

"I cancelled all your schedules for this year actually. For your wedding, your mom requested. Plus, i have good news, Francis Beckley wants you to star in his very new  movie called Starlight. Isn't that nice" He asked.

"Yeah it is. But why would you cancel my schedule? What am i to do?" I asked him pacing.

"Enjoy married life. I'll actually miss you though!!" He said.

"I'm not in the mood for that Josh. I need my schedule back. I'm not marrying that....."

"..., Charlotte!!" I heard a voice. Urgh!!

"I'm listening...."

"Can we talk?" Xavier asked. We looked at each other for a minute before i went back to reality.

"...., hello, are you there?" He asked.

"Yeah...." I sighed.

"Sorry, i need to go now! I will talk to you later?!" I said.

"Yeah, okay...., enjoy beautiful Gardenia!!" He said.

"Yeah yeah!!" I said and hanged up. I looked at him.

"What exactly do you want? Wanna go meet Mis......" And the crazy thing happened......,

He kissed me.

Xavier's POV.

    I got out of my car and walked to the fair, i called Derek.

"Hello, where are you guys?" I asked.

"Oh well, we are in the open cafeteria, the one opposite the annoying clowns!!" He replied.

"Okay, i will be there!!" I said. I can't wait to see my attractive fiancee again. She was so beautiful this morning and i couldn't stop thinking about her in that red dress. Okay, Xavier, shut up.

"...., so, its bad but fine...."

"What are you talking about?" I asked walking with few stares.

"Oh God, Marya is sick. She's on that allergy and...."

"Dog? Who brought dogs?" I asked him.

"No one...., why don't you come and we will explain later?"  He asked.

"Uhmm, sure!!" I replied and quickened my steps.

I saw them and walked to them and saw Marya sneezing and Derek handing her a tissue. I knelt beside her checking her temperature.

"Hey what happened?" I asked.

"I'm so sorry your hi....." Priscilla started and she continues.

"I didn't know she was allergic to Dogs!!"

"Its okay Priscilla." I said and smiled at Marya.

"Hope you are okay?" I whispered to her, so low that she no one else can listen.

"And...., i gave her a glare which made her fall!!" Charlotte said eating her croissants. She looked so beautiful eat...., wait what?

"You gave her a glare? What did she do to deserve that?" I asked.

"Nothing much..., she just sneezed on my jacket!!" She replied and i looked at her. Why would she do that? Everyone knows a bullet is better than her glares!!

"Just because she sneezed....., you knew it was not on purpose!!" I said.

"Yes, that is why i didn't insult her!!" She said. I don't just understand why she is doing this.

"I don't want you giving Marya glares." I told her.

"Wow!!" She said and walked away. Gosh!!

"Excuse me!!" I said and Marya held my hand.

"Are you gonna leave me?" She asked.

"I'll be back!!" I replied and followed Charlotte. I had a time following her because of heys and hi's and people asking how my dad is. How pretty my fiancee is. Yeah, she is. Some well, said they think they are better than her and can't possibly get drunk at her party. Well, can they play the violin so well? Or make me nervously scratch my hair? Or will they make me read a book and stare at them to have every detail in my head. The combination of both Charlotte and Marya is a bomb!! They are both different, but i won't lie i don't like Marya or feel attracted to Charlotte. Marya is the cute, reserved, innocent squirt. While Charlotte is the hot, wild and unruly mega queen. And as a mind of her own. But that makes me nervous a lot because i don't know what to do or say around her to please her!! And i honestly, want this to work. Plus,  i will go crazy again if i see her walking steps, her in a ball gown or in a sexy red dress because that really does a lot of things to me.

I turned left, nothing and right to see her pacing talking to someone on the phone. Her walking steps. Those jeans are really doing something.

"Can we please talk Charlotte?" I asked and she looked at me.

"Can we talk?" I asked.  We looked at each other and she looked away.

"Yeah..." She said and sighed.

"Sorry, i need to go now! I will talk to you later?!" She said.

"Yeah yeah!!" And she hanged up. I looked at her, she looks so beautiful and hot okay...,  her lips were moving and i didn't know what she was saying, what i was concerned about was what i wanted to do next. Jeez, i really wanna kiss her. And i did. And the moment i did that. I tensed and i pulled away. She looked at me for a minute. Jeez, she's gonna  be mad at me. She's gonna shout at me for being stupid. She's gonna shout at me for making her angry and  then coming to her, not even saying anything but kissing her.

"Well...? Do you have a  better explanation to that?" She asked me.

"F-for..." I cleared my throat.

"I'm sorry. I just...,  it was a mistake!!" I said. And her eyes turned to rage and  pain mixed but a  moment later, they harden.

"You're such a jerk!!" She said and turned to leave. I held her hand.

"Wait..., why?" I asked her.

"I'm going back to new york Xavier. I don't think this can work!!" She replied.

"It can. It will. I'm sorry. But Marya is my best friend and...."

"And you like her. And she likes you too. Isn't that great?" She cut me in.

"Charlotte...."

"Until then Xavier. Until you are ready for all these!!' She said and  turned. I dragged her back.

"I am ready. The question is are you?" I asked her..

"I am not in love with my best friend so yes. I am!!" She replied. God, she is making this very difficult.

"I'm sorry!!"

"Sorry for what exactly? I have to marry you but i love my best friend!!" She asked.

"Just give me time Charlotte. Please!! I will fix everything!!" I said.

"This isn't a problem. Its simple. Call off the engagement!!" She snapped and i sighed.

"I can't Charlotte. I just can't!!" I said.

"So..., instead of..."

"I don't want to marry..."

"Instead of this. Can we just have an agreement!!" I said, my voice coming out thick, higher than my normal tone and had a  commanding trait. She seemed to listen to that. Finally, i have one thing to make her stop and  listen.

"You don't like me which is clearly understandable. But the preparations are beyond my control. So I'm pleading with you Charlotte Fayanna Gallagher. Give me a chance to prove myself. And after three months..., if you haven't changed your mind. I promise i will do all it is in my willpower to end everything!!" I told her. I think it took her a great thirty seconds to listen, process and understand everything i said. She looked down.

"On one condition though!!" She said with an evil smirk.

"Yes...?" I asked.

"You teach me how to ride a horse!!" She replied.

"Of course Charlotte. I would!!" I said and  held her hands.

"And....., kissing you was not a mistake Charlotte!!" I said and her eyes brightened.

"I know. You should be honoured. Hollywood's greatest movie star and world class model...."

"I get it. You are a star!!" I said.

"A born star!!"

"So what are you doing tomorrow night?"

"Gazing at the stars."

"Well, i want you to gaze at something different. A night with me in the upper room?"

"Okay..., just one  question though...'

"You will know what the upper room is when its tomorrow!!"

And walked with my hands pocketed.
