Chapter 7: Suicide Mission (2)

Jin Chow remembered his training for him to be accepted as a Knight apprentice. He trained himself even before the enlistment and accepted difficult jobs that can put his life on the line to obtain money like hunting.

His elder brother told him that it will only be a one time chance for the enlistment program. That's why he works himself to prepare for the intense training on the enlistment program.

His brother became a total failure because he didn't know what would happen once you are already inside the domain monarchy. His brother went through hell inside the monarchy and got ejected after a week. Every day is a test and if you fail just once on those days you will be out of the monarchy.

Life outside the monarchy is miserable after the great catastrophe, unlike before when there are peace and order. That's why everyone is so desperate about being a Knight, it will come with a lot of advantages in these dire circumstances outside the monarchy.

Each family is sending their kids to the monarchy but not everyone will be accepted. It is really beneficial to have a knight in your household. All of the members can be admitted to the Monarchy's Sanitarium, and they are receiving a huge amount of wealth weekly to assure the knights that their families are in good hands.

Aside from being a knight, being a hunter is another way to receive big wealth too but that job is too risky. You always need to put your life on the line with greedy teammates on a raid. There's no coordination and leaders are always the strongest who don't consider their teammate's lives on the raid.

Experienced hunters have a bad habit of always using their teammates as a bait to gain the opportunity to kill their target or acquire the items they need while others are buying some time and risking their lives and after that, the people who obtain the items will leave without helping their teammates.

Jin Chow experienced all of that and only survived because of his exceptional skill. Hunters hated him because he let the people inside the monarchy's territory know all of the things that are happening on the raids after going back alone multiple times. After all, he was left alone and used as a bait.

The monarchy is also busy fighting for its territory to have knights as the security and safety of its people from each other. That's the reason why crime became a trend inside the Monarchy's territory particularly stealing.

His elder brother became a long term hunter out of having no other choice after failing the enlistment program so he can still receive a huge amount of wealth but ends up dying on one of the raids.

Jin Chow know why his brother became a hunter even after knowing what would happen on the raids, their parents are dying. If he can't become a Knight to get the privilege of using the Monarchy's Sanitarium for their parents, they need a lot of money to pay for the needs of their parents in ordinary hospitals.

Thankfully, Jin Chow completed the enlistment training and sent her parents to the Monarchy's Sanitarium. That's the reason he can't die or else his parents will be sent outside the Monarchy and no one will take care of them anymore after his elder brother who passed away.

His brother always told him that he needs to prepare for situations that he might be able to use his skill. Jin Chow took that advice to his heart and preparing something before a mission that can be used to escape or something else.

When Jin Chow remembered all of that his fear went away. He is drenched with his own blood and suffering from a lot of pain due to the premature wasp inflicting him continuous attacks.

The premature wasp got so cocky after many attacks and there is still no resistance from Jin Chow. The wasp plans to bite Jin Chow after being so weak and eat him alive.

Jin Chow raised his arms and tried to avoid any critical damage as much as possible and remained standing for this moment. The premature wasp tried to bite him and Jin Chow picked up his insecticide inside his cloak and the premature wasp bites the bottle and its fangs locked into the bottle.

The premature wasp is about 3 feet in length. It is not enough to kill the premature wasp considering that it is not as small as ordinary insects but it is still premature so there would be an effect on it at least.

Jin Chow walks closer to the premature wasp and steps on it. He crushed the premature wasp using his feet until it dies. Jin Chow might be just a human being but he is still strong and trained to fight. He sat down and waits for Liu Kai while resting as he will only be a nuisance to Liu Kai if he went there.

The Giant Wasp continues to chase and attack Liu Kai inside the forest. Liu Kai tried to use the tactic he used against the Giant Cockroach before, by running into the forest where having a larger body should have a hard time moving but it seems that it is not the case for the Giant Wasp because it is smaller and faster than the Giant Cockroach.

The Giant Wasp hits Liu Kai with its front leg. Liu manages to block the attack by covering his body using his arms but he still flew and hit his back to a tree.

The Giant Wasp rapidly pursue Liu Kai and used its stinger to sting him to make him immobile. The Giant Wasp found it hard to fight Liu Kai because of its speed that's why to secure its food.

Liu Kai stands up and looks at the Giant Wasp fiercely and he smirks. The Giant Wasp got confused about the spectacle she saw after Liu Kai stood up. The Giant Wasp tried to pin Liu Kai down but he is not there anymore when her front leg hits the place where Liu Kai is standing earlier.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Liu Kai laughs.

Liu Kai is on top of the tree and looking at the Giant Wasp while laughing on it from above while his right hand is touching half of his face. His mouth is slightly open just like a baby when they saw the food getting closer to them but Liu Kai's eyes are different. It is glowing and the joy can be seen on his face like a sociopath smiling before killing its victim.

A big storm is brewing inside Liu Kai and the Giant Wasp can feel it with its exceptional perception. The Giant Wasp is irritated by Liu Kai's swiftness. The Giant Wasp's speed is its strongest characteristic aside from its stinger's ability but Liu Kai is just toying with her now.

So the Giant Wasp tries to move with its top speed and shows who is really faster between the two of them using their top speed. It flies to pierce Liu Kai above the tree but for the second time, she misses him again.

The Giant Wasp can feel in which direction Liu Kai went to with its exceptional perception but she can't keep up with Liu Kai's speed anymore. The Giant Wasp looks at Liu Kai's direction and gets frustrated with the development of the situation.

The Giant Wasp flew up high but Liu Kai Jumps higher and faster and kicks her to the ground. A lot of trees are destroyed when the Giant Wasp crashed on the ground. Liu Kai falls on top of the Giant Wasp's body and laughs evilly.

"Now, now, let's test how long can these wings last." Liu Kai said maniacally.

Liu Kai grabs the wings and laughs then starts to pull it out.

KUWAAAAAAAH!!!!!

The Giant Wasp is screaming in pain while trying to move Liu Kai out from his back. She tried to move her wings but she can't because Liu Kai is preventing her to move it. Liu Kai is still laughing like a maniac while pulling the wings apart from the body.

The Giant Wasp move and move but she can't move Liu Kai from her back so she jumps high and targets her back to the ground to crush Liu Kai. The Giant Wasp's plan succeeded when she no longer felt any pain from her wings being pulled apart.

Liu Kai kicks the Giant Wasp from the ground into the air. The Giant Wasp tried to use its wings but cannot due to the damage that Liu Kai causes earlier. The Giant Wasp cannot feel its wings anymore and can only move it a bit so it falls again and Liu Kai hit it again and again into the air like a volleyball.

Liu Kai wondered why he didn't receive any messages from the system after the Giant Wasp crushed him.

"So that means I am strong enough now to not receive any damage from that bug's attacks huh." Liu Kai thought to himself while smiling like a maniac and getting excited by the strength he acquired due to his skill 'Berserk' and 'Alter'.

The Giant Wasp is feeling dizzy after circling into the air every time Liu Kai punches her. That thing repeated until Liu Kai stops punching and the Giant Wasp crashed to the ground. The Giant Wasp can barely stand with its six legs and she saw Liu Kai in front of her smiling like a predator that about to eat its meal.

Liu Kai grabs the Giant Wasp's antenna while the Giant Wasp can't do anything about it due to the pain that Liu Kai inflicted earlier. Then, Liu Kai threw the Giant Wasp to the trees by holding only its antenna.

The Giant Wasp is unable to fight back anymore from all of the damages that were inflicted on it. Jin Chow is in the direction where Liu Kai threw the Giant Wasp and was shocked by the Giant Wasp's body helplessly crashing to the trees.

Jin Chow knew that Liu Kai is strong when they quarreled before but this is an A-Rated Bug they are talking about now. Jin Chow is even worried before that Liu Kai might get killed but decided to just let it because he can't help any more than what he did earlier.

But now he just saw the Giant Wasp that can't even stand anymore. He is already surprised that Liu Kai defeated the Giant Wasp but he is even more surprised when Liu Kai arrived in front of the Giant Wasp.

Even if he is a little bit far he can see that Liu Kai changed. His aura is stronger and veins all over his body are popping out. His skin is turning red and his eyes are glowing red that can easily see afar.

Jin Chow stands up and comes closer to Liu Kai even if he is having a hard time walking because of his state right now.

"Liu Kai." Jin Chow said.

Jin Chow keeps calling Liu Kai but he is not responding. He is just laughing while holding the antenna of the Giant Wasp.

"Liu Kai that's enough. You defeated it, kill it already." Jin Chow said while coming closer.

"This bug causes a lot of pain from all of those people, why shouldn't we torture it as well?" Liu Kai said while smiling like a psychopath.

Jin Chow is shocked by his response and can't say anything about it. Liu Kai doesn't look like what he used to be. Then he suddenly remembers when he first met Liu Kai. He looks so kind and innocent but after he toyed him a little his personality shifted and his looks slightly changed too.
