Chapter 6: Suicide Mission (1)

KUOOOOOHH!!!

The Giant Wasp just brushes off Liu Kai's Punch. The few people who got injected run towards him to attack.

Liu Kai didn't hesitate to attack those people who got injected with killing intent, knowing that they are not human anymore after becoming a host of a parasitic larva.

Liu Kai knew that the larva will eat you alive and control your body at a certain time and it will burst out of your body as a young adult Wasp.

'These people cannot be saved anymore.' Liu Kai uttered.

They will die if he removes the larva from their body. Some are already dead but still being used for the larva to maneuver.

Jin Chow is still on the tree branch but now standing and remained frozen on his feet.

"I can't help again damn it." Jin Chow confessed.

Liu Kai knew now that Jin Chow is right. The Giant Wasp is a monster and on a different level than the Giant Cockroach.

"So this the strength of an A-Rated." Liu Kai mumbled while killing people who got injected.

The Giant Wasp is still in the process of injecting its larva to a woman it holds.

The woman saw Liu Kai and a light of hope emerges on her eyes.

"YOUNG MAN HELP ME!" The woman pleaded.

"I need to finish this quickly before it finishes doing that to that woman..."

"...This is the fastest method." Liu Kai said to himself.

Liu Kai stopped defending himself and just remained standing. He closed his eyes while those injected humans are biting him and trying to move him on his feet however he won't budge. He is drenched in his blood and resisting all of the pain that they are inflicting on him.

"Liu Kai run while you still have a chance the people who got injected that attacked us earlier are coming!" Jin Chow gave Liu Kai a warning while still standing on a tree branch.

All of those people who got injected that they left behind earlier are now swarming towards Liu Kai.

Liu Kai didn't even bother to pay attention even if he heard it. He got irritated that the Giant Wasp is just letting its minions fight him after he punched it.

Jin Chow cannot see Liu Kai anymore after being covered by a lot of bodies. It is like watching a zombie movie when a human is being eaten by zombies alive.

Jin Chow gets down on his knees with his face having a grim look in it. He only met Liu Kai yesterday but he is hoping that they can have a long journey together. He doesn't want him to die, he found relief that he got a new buddy. He gave him hope to accomplish his quest to the East.

The events that transpired in front of him made him remember his fallen squad members. And right now another comrade that he just met is dying in front of him.

"It is just the same I cannot protect anyone just like what happened to my previous comrades." Jin Chow cried remembering their hopeless eyes before they die.

He was added to their group to guarantee the success of their mission and to avoid someone dying. He is their protector but everyone that he should protect is now gone.

But Jin Chow understood the situation wrong. It's different from what he thought.

Liu Kai is still alive inside those bodies and still resisting all of the pain that they are inflicting on him.

Liu Kai heard the messages.

Liu Kai opened his eyes glowing brightly in red. All of the bodies covering Liu Kai earlier are now tossed out in the air.

Jin Chow saw what happened. He can see Liu Kai's eyes not losing hope even in that situation.

Liu Kai can feel the power he gained after resisting the pain that those injected people did to him and fights them all at once.

"I'll torture all of you to death." Liu Kai boasted while insanely looking at them.

They are all too slow for Liu Kai now and they can't even touch him anymore. They are being pierced by his punches and kicks before they can even get close to him.

Maybe they are just too weak from the start. It's just that they have numbers and Liu Kai's strength is below average without 'Berserk'. Another problem the boss insect is still not helping.

"I need to somehow save that last remaining woman alive." Liu Kai is desperate to save the woman that the Giant Wasp holding.

That's why Liu Kai decided to fight all of them to make the process faster. His punches are strong enough now to penetrate their human body and kill them with a single hit.

Some of the larvae are developed enough to live outside of their host and fight back with their own body even without having a host.

That means Liu Kai is fighting hundreds of dead people with a parasite inside and prematurely developed wasps all at once.

Jin Chow felt happy that Liu Kai is still alive. He jumps into the battlefield and activated his skill to bulldoze everyone on his path.

"LIU KAI! I will be..."

"I WILL BECOME A COMRADE THAT EVERYONE CAN COUNT ON." Jin Chow poured his heart stating his goal.

Liu Kai smirks at him. "Hahaha, I thought you pissed on your pants running to escape." Liu Kai said.

Liu Kai realized it when Jin Chow told his story that he is not a warrior yet. He lacks the courage to do something first. But when the situation that other people put their lives on the line, he won't remain standing.

"What made you change your mind?" Liu Kai teased him while piercing his fist on their enemy's bodies.

"Your stupidity did. I'll die first before you on this suicide mission." Jin Chow complained.

"This isn't a suicide mission. We'll survive." Liu Kai confidently replied.

They killed everyone that attacked them. But in terms of numbers, Liu Kai killed twice as many of the numbers that Jin Chow killed in that short period.

They are both catching their breath but the number of people standing is still abundant.

"We manage to kill at least half of them but now what?" Jin Chow asked while still trampling the bodies of the people who got injected and prematurely developed Wasps.

"We'll kill them all including that Giant Wasp." Liu Kai responded.

"Please tell me you're kidding." Jin Chow replied.

"I'm not." Liu Kai said while grabbing the head of one of the people who got injected and slamming it to the ground.

Jin Chow clenched his fist tighter when he heard his expected answer from Liu Kai.

"I need to finish this as quickly as possible. I'll check how long probability can last too while I'm on it." Liu Kai thought to himself.

Liu Kai dodges the scratches of those people who got injected and the premature wasps while looking for a good angle that he can hit as many as possible in one blow.

[Activate Probability]

[Probability is activated]

[The Die (Dice) indicates the number 6]

[Power will be multiplied by 6]

Liu Kai dashes towards his enemies that are almost positioned in a line and he spins his body in the air to gain more momentum and kicks as strong as he can.

The kick causes shockwaves that eradicate multiple enemies at the same time.

"I'm not finished. I'll annihilate more." Liu Kai thought to himself while maneuvering and dodging while also looking for another opportunity to kill several enemies at once.

His mind is processing everything in a fast-paced manner and his body can also maintain being engaged to do all of the things he wants to do with it.

Then Liu Kai did it again and again until his skill 'probability' loses its effect.

"If I'm not mistaken I can use it for about 15 seconds." Liu Kai manages to think about the duration of his skill 'Probability' while dodging and fighting his enemies constantly.

Jin Chow didn't falter too. He jumps and puts up his two arms then smashed the ground that causes fractures on the ground that killed multiple enemies at once too.

After that, almost all of their enemies are gone. They managed to annihilate a lot of enemies in less than a minute by using their skills at its best. There are just a few enemies remaining but they are so tired already.

The toll of using the skill 'Probability' is taking its effect on Liu Kai's body. The skill is very useful to multiply his power to 6 times stronger if he is lucky but its consequence after being used is massive too. His stamina is barely holding after he used attacks that are multiplied by sixfold.

The Giant Wasp is almost finished on what it is doing and Liu Kai can feel it with his improved perception. He can also feel that the Wasp is furious and doing the injection process faster so it can focus on them after.

"HELP!!! HELP ME! HEL---" The woman was cut off as the Giant Wasp insert its stinger to her mouth.

"Jin Chow, I need to focus on the real one. Take care of these zombies for me." Liu Kai shouted to Jin Chow.

"The duration of my skill is expiring, I can only buy time for a minute." Jin Chow replied.

"That's enough." Liu Kai shouted.

Liu Kai dashes towards the Giant Wasp and leaps above its body.

["Activate Probability on this kick"]

[Probability is activated]

-Probability's Die(Dice) rolls and resulted in number 1.

-Kick power will multiply by 1.

"WHAT!? NOT NOW." Liu Kai complained about the messages he heard but still proceeds on his high jump kick.

He hit the Giant Wasp but it didn't receive any damage at all, its thick exoskeleton is protecting the bug from being harmed. This time the Giant Wasp is done and faces Liu Kai. The woman falls to the ground and having seizures.

KUOOOOH!!!!

The Giant Wasp tried to pierce Liu Kai's body but Liu Kai manages to dodge it.

But the Giant Wasp is not surprised and attacks continuously. Liu Kai is barely dodging the front legs of the bug.

The Giant Wasp is relatively small compared to the Giant Cockroach but it is much faster and stronger.

The woman from earlier stands up and attacks Liu Kai as well.

"Flesh, flesh, flesh! Give me your flesh!" The woman repeatedly said.

Liu Kai kicks her head and it explodes from the impact.

'I'm sorry.' Liu Kai thought to himself. He felt sorry that he didn't manage to save her and he's so frustrated about it.

Liu Kai runs from the Giant Wasp but it will catch up to his enhanced speed and continue its barrage of attacks using its front legs while moving on its other legs.

Liu Kai is barely dodging those attacks and can't come up with a plan to counter-attack. No, forget the counter-attack because he can't even think of a way to escape. Liu Kai is receiving some wounds on his skin and starts to get dizzy from blood loss and pain.

That is the result of the damages that the premature wasps and the people who got injected inflicted on him earlier for him to activate his skill 'Berserk'.

Liu Kai doesn't want to resort to that method but he doesn't have any fast method. He shouldn't have preferences about fighting. He is weak and doesn't have any talents. He should be thankful now that he has the skill 'Berserk' to give him strength when he is taking damages.

Jin Chow's skill expired already but there is still a single premature wasp remaining. That wasp evaded his attack earlier and with its perception, it can feel that he is scared right now.

Premature wasp is strong enough to kill dozen of normal humans. And Jin Chow, without his skill is just a human. No human can beat an enlarged insect to almost the size of a human even if it's prematurely developed.

Jin Chow remained standing and raise his arms like a boxer. He tried his best to concentrate and think of a way to defeat his enemy but he can't come up with anything. His fear is slowly getting the most out of him and the wasp can smell that fear.

The wasp dash forward but Jin Chow read it perfectly. He docks to avoid the attack and after the wasp surpassed his body he kicks it to add momentum to the wasp's momentum forward. It rolls over the ground multiple times.

The wasp is angry that Jin Chow can still fight after smelling his fear. It is now wary of his speed and moves forward. This time the wasp is getting closer to him slowly.

Jin Chow gets back on his stance. The wasp is aware that it is faster than him and is planning to use it as an advantage. Jin Chow steps his right leg forward and faces the wasp again.

The wasp attacks Jin Chow who is just standing and protecting himself without doing anything. The wasp enjoys hurting Jin Chow and moves around him.

Jin Chow remains on his stance and continues to track down the wasp on where it is and rotates his body accordingly to face it and to not show his back.
