Chapter ten

I sat at the Royal garden, wondering what he meant but still I couldn't understand, as I strolled back to my room when I noticed a shadow ratified behind me.

"Who are you" I yelled, striving to hear a response when I heard a voice.

"It's me, I didn't mean to scare you," the voice said.

" And you are," I raised a question.

" Am prince Liam?" the voice said as he walked up to me, with both his hands on air. 

"Were you trying to scare me," I asked, raising an eyebrow at him

" No, I wasn't" he replied back to me

" Then what were you doing," I asked, glaring at him

"Promise not to tell," he said, pulling his hand out to me

"Let's see," I said, as I reluctantly held his hand.

We both walked into a room, thus it relieved a studio filled with artifacts and painting, and a goblet roof, being able to see the sky from there.

"OMG, it's beautiful" I mumbled admiring the room.

"For a prince, you sure love painting," I said to him

"Hahaha" he chuckled

"Was that funny" I let out

But before he could reply I saw a painting of a man.

" Is that who I think it is?" I said to him, as I held it up to look at the painting more closely

"Yes, that's king Jerald," Liam said, moving toward me.

"Wow, he's handsome," I asserted letting go of a weak smile on my face. 

"Indeed, he is the best father I had" Liam confessed glaring closely at the picture.

" But he isn't your real father,"  I said, peeking at him.

"Yeah, but to me, he was more like a real dad," Liam said stroking off tears from his eyes.

" But that's all good, now that his real heir as arrived" Liam uttered pinning a smile on his face.

"You're not angry, but you were supposed to take over if I hadn't come," I said to Liam.

"Abruptly you did, thanks to the gods" Liam said, holding a paintbrush in his hand. 

"Yeah, the gods," I said, letting go of a deep sigh when he asked how It feels living at the palace. 

"It's okay, am getting used to the whole idea of royal life" I replied back to him.

" Yea, it can be overwhelming," he said stroking the brush on a paper. 

" Tell me about it" I chuckled, walking to see what he was doing.

"Wow, that's beautiful" I muttered, looking at the picture, he painted.

"Thank you, how about this evening, I take you on a tour around the castle.

"You would do that for me" I let out, pining an excited expression on my face.

"Sure, it will be my pleasure," he said, as I sat down admiring his work, with a smile on my face.

After a long day, Liam and l strolled back to my room, sauntering side by side.

"Goodnight" he muttered pinning a warm kiss on my cheeks. 

"Goodnight" I replied back to him, as I closed the door behind me.

"Wow" Julia altered sited on the couch, waiting for my return. 

"Jesus Christ Julia, you scared me" I replied back, sauntering off to change into my nightwear.

"So, how was the tour with the prince", Julia asked pinning a devious smirk on her face.

"It was just a harmless stroll" I let out, covering myself up a  blanket.

"I know but seriously, how was the prince" she muttered, jabbing the blanket off me. 

"Leave me alone Juila", I said pushing her hands away from the blanket.

"Fine then" she altered getting up from the bed, thus I tucked myself in, as Julia flees the room slamming the door hard.

"Julia" I called out to her but she had already left. 

When the glass windows, were blown off, pulling  a man dressed in black inside the room, but before I could scream for help, he held me by my mouth, as I fell unconscious. 

" What do we do with her" I heard the voice of a man speaking, as I slowly opened my eyes, thus glimpsing I was tied up.

"Hey, let me go" I cried out, but my voice seems to be ignored by them.

"Who are you and what do want from me" I yelled out, striving to get a hint from him but all he did was to shut me up by tieing a handkerchief to my mouth. 

"Mmmmm" I attempted speaking, hence I saw a man moving toward me with a smile on his face.

"Hello your majesty," the voice said 

"It's you" I muttered pining a surprised expression on my face. 

"Why you doing this "I let out but the question seems to agitate him a lot.

"I want the throne for my son" he confessed, holding a knife to my neck. 

" So killing me will make it simple for you," I said, carefully staring at the sharp knife. 

"Yes"

"Although I never meant to do so I had no other choice" he let out.

"Then do it, while you still have your hands," I said, glaring furiously at him.

" A firing Spirit, you're just like your dad" Warwick confessed.

" You killed my father" I raised a question

" No, I wanted to but the gods decided to favor me by killing him" he let out, smiling at me. 

"Do you have anything to say before we commence by assassinating you" Warwick altered 

"Fuck you," I said, as my words made him annoyed, thus gave a sign to the unusual man to kill me.

" Goodbye princess" he let out swiveling his back at me, when suddenly the man, dropped dead, with no sign of who killed him.

" What was that" Warwick let out, glaring confused as he loomed me with so much fury In his eyes, when he also dropped dead, I felt strange energy passed through me, thus a voice saying.

" I save you, now it's your turn," it said. 

"Aldridge" I called out to him

"You finally using your instincts, dear princess" he let out, as he smiled at me.

"Why did you save me," I asked him

" Because I felt like it" he replied back to me. 

"Seriously, you can't fool me"

" What exactly do you want" I let out glaring at him, still tied up, as he confessed.

"I want you to bring me back to the real world" he let out.

" Oh hell no" I yelled at him declining his offer.
