Chapter seven

walked down, listening to the sound of the crown, and with Aldridge catching a glimpse of me leaving, he sent his shadow demon's after me, thus knocking his brothers to the wall

No", Eldridge shouted striving to stop his brother but unfortunately, he was frozen alongside with muldridge. 

I walked down the castle, listening to the voice when I saw a shadow demon pursuing behind me. 

I ran fast and hid behind a pillar resting my body, with my eyes shut hoping they won't see me. But to my surprise, I felt a force, flinging me out on the floor. 

"Stay away from me" I cried out, as I ran off from them, in hopes of getting the crown, with the demons hot on my trail. 

Shhhh" the crown glamoured to me again, drawing me closer, hence I noticed I stood at the last king's bedroom, infiltrating inside. I glanced everywhere, yet couldn't see what I came for, but it was here somewhere. Until the painting that was at the wall fell down, uncovering a hidden vault behind. 

What is this" I said, walking to check it out, the moment I touched the vault, I felt Eminence energy that flowed through me, that was when I figured the crown was in it? But it was under a code. 

What is it" I said to myself when I heard the voice of Aldridge's footsteps coming forth? 

I tried all I could think but non worked, I tired prince Liam, sir Warwick, and the moment I tired queen Eliza Jerald, it opened up revealing the crown.

That was when I heard a slam on the door shoving it to the side, with Aldridge standing there along with his shadow demons. 

Requesting one of his Shadow demons to take the crown but the moment he touched it, he faded away leaving only dust. 

Thus the crown was about crumpling but was halted by Aldridge that froze it on air. 

Phew, I said, feeling relieved.

"Now what will I do with you," Aldridge said to me, yanking me in mid-air. 

"There's a fire in you"

Little princess" 

Join me" 

Let's rule together"

I will give you more power"

Unlock your greatest desire"

Make you a god"

But if only you could accept"

he glamoured wondering around me. 

"No thanks," I replied out, as he clenched his fits, with a force that stopped from breathing. 

Hrrnnggh" I tried breathing, but he clenches evolved stronger. 

Meanwhile at the ballroom

Eldridge tries had to break off the spell, in order to save me but was stopped by muldridge, who told him to stay back, as it was my mission to put an end to their brother. 

Buh, buh" he tried speaking, having no other option than to accept what his brother suggested. 

"hope he doesn't kill her," Eldridge said to his brother.

" Hmm, I don't think so"

" She's a strong one" muldridge replied back to him, feeling confident. 

Thus" they didn't know what was going on, as I was on the verge of dying. 

Well, I guess it's the end" Aldridge glamoured to me, with a sign of Pity. 

" Goodbye princess" he altred, courting the life out of me. 

My eyes became red, with my color turning pale, I figured it was surely the end. 

Let her go" mom shouted with Julia at her side, hurling an apple at him. 

As he angrily jabbed me by the side and clutched mom and Julia, gripping them tightly. 

No" I shouted, seeing a pocket knife laying at the table, as I grabbed it with an attempt of hurting him, unfortunatelReally" he said, lifting up one of his eyes brows, with my mom and Julia still in mid-air.

Let them go" I begged, folding my hands together, as he gripped onto them. 

"I warned you didn't I," he let out, but I kept on begging him to let them go. 

Please, please, please" I said seeing the two people I love in danger all because of me. 

" how about I show you"

" I meant what I said"

" About lingering away from the throne," he said, thus running a knife through her, abdomen, I stood there, seeing my mom die in front of me and this time it wasn't a dream.  

" No" I yelled, as tears roll off my eyes, I couldn't believe my worst nightmare, had finally come through.

I kept quiet, without muttering a word,  glaring at mom, lying motionless in front of me. 

" Now who's next" he whirled to Julia, trying to attempt the same.

I felt turmoil, simmering over me as I stood there clueless with Julia screaming from pains. 

I couldn't curb it anymore, thus I screamed unleashing a  power inside of me, yanking Julia away from him.

"Remember my words princess"

"Little by little I will take the people you love and cherish away from you"

" If you decide to take over the throne of valtoria," Aldridge said, as he faded away from there, but all I could see was the body of my mom laying hopelessly on the ground. 

As I  knelt down, sobbing, in front of her, with Julia attaining to comfort me. 

With everything back to normal, an alarm trigged, alarming the palace guards there was an intruder. 

The guards came there, along with sir Warwick, the queen, and the prince Liam.

" Arrest her" sir Warwick altered, sending the guards after I and Julia.

Stop it" I said, raising my hands at them, thus unknowingly compelling them to fight among themselves, with a power I had know idea how to wield, making everyone there frightened.

" Moon magic", sir Warwick altered, recognizing it with a surprised face. 

"Who, who, who,'

" Who are you", he altered glaring at me, alongside the others, as I gently stood up introducing my self.

" My name is Taria "

" The daughter of Tamora and the late king Jerald "

" Also next in line to the throne" I said, facing downwards. 

" It a lie" sir Warwick altered, declining all I said to be a lie. 

As he tried to persuade them that I was only a phony, thus none of the bloodlines was still alive after the demise of the king

" I am the next in line"

"And I can prove it also", I replied back at him with an angry voice.

"Fine, then prove it," sir Warwick said, folding his arms together.

Slowly I  strolled down where the crown fell due to the blast, picking it up.  

No, you can't" he said, attempting to stop me,  but I didn't pay heed to him, as I placed the crown on my head, unleashing great force, everyone was dumbstruck, witnessing what just arose, but Unfortunately  I slumped on the ground.
