25.New Beginnings

Destiny felt hopeful about her future after the meeting with Black Heart went so well. She sat in her room on the window seat and looking down into the garden. She saw her mom run out; laughing as she turned around and saw Killian. He was smiling and laughing and nodding his head as he walked up to Crystal. He grabbed her hand she had outstretched to keep him back and he pulled her to him. He wrapped his arms around her and Destiny started to laugh as he started to dance with her. There was no music or anything, they were in their own world. She saw her mother look up at her father with such love in her eyes as they stood there swaying back and forth. Killian pecked kisses all over her face and it made Crystal laugh as they kissed each other passionately and went to sit somewhere in the garden to enjoy each other's company. Destiny realized then that that was what she wanted with Tim. Her parents were the true definition of mates. They were completely different, yet they were perfect for each other and they were so deep in love after all these years. She hoped her relationship with Tim would always be that strong. 

Crystal had been in the kitchen frosting a cake when Killian came in. He came up behind her and bean playing with her thighs and kissing her neck. She laughed and told him to cut it out so she could finish. He flipped her around and she covered his nose with frosting. He let out a shocked gasp and she started to back away as he cleaned his nose. He put the towel down and smiled and told her she was getting it now. She took off out the back and gave chase. Once in the garden, she turned and saw him close, so she started laughing and begging him. He caught her hand and pulled her close but they both started hearing a song and danced to the beat. After their dance and a kiss, they walked to the gazebo hand in hand.

Alex saw his parents dancing and only hoped he would be as happy with his mate. He walked inside and walked about to Destiny's room.

"Did you see mom and dad?"

"Yeah. I envy them."

"True mates, they are."

"I only hope Tim and I will be that happy."

"We all hope to be that happy."

"Plans for the weekend?"

"Going with Jake and them for their hunting party. You?"

"Staying with Tim and his family for the shore festival."

"Have fun."

"You too."

They hugged and he left to pack to go on the hunting trip. Destiny walked back to her closet and finished packing her bag. She heard her door open and she thought it was Alex again.

"Forget something?"

"Every time I leave here."

She swung around and saw Tim. She smiled and walked over to him and hugged him.

"What are you doing here?"

"You're dad said I could take you back to Sea Cave. Are you packed?"

"Almost."

"Hurry up, baby. I am ready to spend this weekend with you."

"Okay. I am. Go down and let my mom know."

"I will."

She shook her head as she watched him leave. She finished packing everything including her bathing suit. Crystal came in and sat on the bed.

"Got everything ready?"

"Yes, and is it really okay that he takes me?"

"Kellie is downstairs."

"Oh okay."

"Yeah, you know how your father is."

"Yeah, that's why I asked."

Once she was packed, Destiny and Crystal walked down and met Kellie and Timothy. Killian was also standing there and just gave her a look as he hugged her. The look that says she better behave. After their farewells, they walked to the tunnels and disappeared through the portal. Afterward, they walked back up and saw Jake packing in the kitchen as Alex came down. 

"You will behave during this trip, Alexander."

"Of course, father."

"Good. Jake, take good care of the future alpha."

"You know I will, alpha."

After two hours, Alex had left. Monica and Bryan had gone away and the rest of the pack was busy. They truly had the whole house to themselves. Killian came and hugged her and began kissing her, letting her know what he planned for the weekend. Just as they were getting deeper into it, his phone rang. He cursed as he answered it.

"Hello?"

"Alpha Killian, it's Alpha Phillip."

"Dad, what's going on?"

"I'm sorry son, I call you as another alpha. I'm afraid it's important."

"Alright. One second."

He lowered the phone and apologized as he kissed and then disappeared into his office. She shook her head and smiled and walked into the kitchen. She gathered ingredients and made brownies. She was sitting on the counter licking the bowl and spoon when Killian walked in and laughed.

"Really? Licking the batter?"

"Brownies are cooking."

He laughed as he walked up to her and stood in front of her. She continued to finish the batter as he just watched.

"You okay?"

"Yep. Any plans for the weekend?"

"You, you, and you."

"All weekend?"

"All weekend."

Once the oven went off, she set them aside to cool off. He came up from behind her and lifted her up and carried her to the room. Once in there, it was like a flood that had been held back. That first kiss was a fire t their souls and they couldn't stop. He pinned her against the wall and she held the sides of his face as they continued to make out. He lifted her up and laid her on the bed and tore her clothes off as she did the same. He entered her roughly as she spread her legs and wrapped them around his waist. He went hard, fast, and rough and kept pushing himself deeper with every moan and scream. She shot straight up as he left her but smiled as he rolled her over on her knees. He pressed her head into the bed as he entered her from behind and began pounding away. From this angle, he was even deeper than before and her screams were louder. He pushed faster and deeper and when they both climaxed, it shook them both as they collapsed on the bed next to each other. They just laid there looking at each other lost in each other once again. They both jumped when his phone rang. He sighed and rolled over and picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Sorry to bother you, alpha."

"Aaron, what is it?"

"Alpha Philip is here."

"That was fast. Put him in my office."

"Yes, Alpha."

He hung up and rolled over to face her.

"Duty calls?"

"Busy life, baby."

He kissed her and got up and dressed and headed down to his office to meet Philip. Crystal stayed in bed a while longer after Killian left. She finally got up when she got a text and saw it was Jessica.

She dressed and told her to meet her in the kitchen. She cut the brownies as she and Jessica talked. As they were talking, Alpha Brutus walked in unannounced.

"Forgive me, Luna."

"Alpha Brutus? What can we help you with?"

"There are members in my pack that do not agree with what happened."

"We knew this would happen."

"Yes but I don't know how to control them."

"You don't need to control them. It'll take time for them but they will see the benefits to the alliance. In fact, Jes, I want to send the order of supplies back with Alpha Brutus for his pack."

"Great idea, Luna."

Brutus thanked the Luna and helped load the supplies as Killian and Philip came out. Philip sneered at Brutus and left. Killian told Crystal there was still bad blood but things were a work in progress. Crystal knew everything would work out in the end. The beginning was always the hardest.
