Helen buried her head in different books. It was official, she was friendless but at least books never disappointed her. She picked engineering books, going through them; they suited her and drew her close to her passion.

As a young girl, she always wanted to be an engineer and to understand the way most things worked. She started from Electrical electronics then Civil, Computer, Mechanical, Automobile, aeronautic, down the list because they facinated her. Everything about engineering world did and it was the only place she felt that she belonged. To be able to invent something that would improve the society at large. Just like the earliest engineers who were basically lay men that built structures, fortification, and roads better than the roads presently constructed by certified engineers.

She closed the books and looked out of the window. Her eyes rested on the gorgeous three's special room. It was a lounge yet it had almost everything, that she wondered why they bothered to come to the cafeteria sometimes. Maybe it was their way of socializing with their team mates or to flirt with girls which in most cases was reversed. She saw them from their transparent window as Kingsley moved to and fro, motioning with his hands. Anyone would know he was practicing for his debate. Miracle was at the pool board playing his games. Then there was Stephen, he sat by the window expelling rings of smokes from his cigarette. There was much mystery to his form accompanied by alluring danger.

How could danger be alluring and fascinating?

Was that why girls were all over him? The simple rebellion that was effortlessly appealing. She could answer three things which summarized them.

One, girls are moved by charm and suave.

Two, they are enchanted by arrogant men because of the aura of capability.

Three, they are drawn to mystery and rebellion.

One thing she knew was that he was mysterious but the danger could not be ignored coupled with the fact that he smoked a lot. Amongst, the students and staff, he was the only one who did yet no one tried to stop him. Not that he was very ill mannered to smoke during their classes. Then his hoodie and cap which covered most of his face. Aside those, he was a super attractive guy.

His face was another sight to behold yet he left it hidden or mildly exposed. One would see the brown shade of his eyes from time to time, his succulent lips, elegant nose and that was how far it wenr. Like he knew she was staring, his head lifted and his eyes met hers. She swallowed hard, cocked a brow at him not failing to add a condescending smirk before rising to leave as the bell rang.

Glad that she would finally eat something since breakfast was not an option at home, she rushed to the cafeteria. She was about to go the the counter when the school's magnificent three walked in and as usual, there was an overwhelming silence.

It's probably one of their special days.

She tried not to rolled her eyes when Miracle played with her hair.

'Hey. Princess.'

Her lips stopped half way as Kingsley's hand dropped on her shoulders.

'Let's rewind. Are we friends?'

'That hurts, considering the fact that you don't have any.' Kingsley continued and led them to the special chef that was in charge of their food.

'That's because it's your fault but you don't see me wailing because of loneliness, do you?'

'You don't have to. I told you, it's a platonic thing here.' He pecked her forehead to emphasis his point, causing her to lightly shove his guts, Stephen to ball his fist and the crowd watching, mumbled.

'I got you.'

'You know my school fees doesn't allow me to eat from this section?' She pointed out when they stood before the counter.

'I own the school.' He grinned.

'So what would you like?'

'I'd go for snacks.'

She pouted.

'Hey princess, you can't have three gorgeous specimens with you and look unhappy.' Miracle cooed.

'What's wrong? Or what do you want?'

'I'd like to eat food but I pick a lot and there's no Deborah or Christina to put it into their plates.'

They burst in laughter.

'Seriously?'

'That's a hell of a habit. You can put it into mine.'

'We'd seat next to you.' They both concurred while Stephen remained silent.

'So what would you have?'

'Abacha.' She rubbed her palms together.

'Say what?' Kingsley cocked a brow.

'It's been long I ate something primitive as that.' Miracle mumbled.

'Abacha is primitive?' She chuckled.

'You stay here and it's been long? You're definitely missing out in the good stuff.'

'Fine. Abacha for all.' Kingsley ordered.

'Okay sirs.' The caterers rushed and dished out garnished plates of Abacha.

'Do you want it served to your table?'

'No. We'd take it.' Helen grabbed a tray, motioning the guys to do likewise, except Stephen who pushed his back.

'I'd like just a bottle of water.'

'Yes sir.'

It was handed to him, he took it, made it to the table and sat opposite her since his friends were by her side as promised.
