2020-10-05 02:49:18I wake up but today I don't just stare and lazy around I sit up with a force and run to the bathroom throwing up all the drinks I chugged down yesterday in there, then I remember running away with Daphney just after he said mine
When he moved to hold her she poured the drink on him and ran off,dragging me with her.
I don't think he was far behind, I rolled down a huge ledge with Daphney but I kept running until I got home and then I don't where the strength came from but I scaled to my window and we got in
I think we lost him because I heard a loud howl.
A really painful headache hit me like a baseball bat and I held my head, my fingers got cut on twigs stuck to my hair.
The pain increase the agony of the realization of what happened yesterday, Daphney found her mate and I'm an accomplice to helping her runaway from him.
Why now though, we're just 18, we wanted to travel, eat foods,me, Daphney and Mia.
I hear a knock it has got to be my mom so I'm quiet maybe she would go away, Daphney was still passed out.
"I know you're in there I can hear your heart and smell your scent!"my mom growled and today I don't even feel shaken mostly because my door was barricaded with my dresser,a very heavy dresser like I said yesterday I had no idea where the strength came from.
Two hours later
I had already showered and my hair looked normal again as I laid down enjoying the warmth of my bed when Daphney came out of my closet.
"What were you thinking?"I said immediately we lock eyes.
"I freaked out"she whispered sitting beside me
"Your mom's gonna be mad"I said, she sighed sitting beside me
"I–"she paused when we heard a knock
We ignore it.
Another one, I rolled my eyes.
Whoever it is will go eventually, there was silence, my plan worked.
A load bang and my dresser falls face front to the ground I spring up, mouth open in shock
How the hell?
Then I saw him, eyes glowing glaring at us, I stand up, heading to the window but I forgot I locked that too am so we're trapped.
He pulls her out of the room.
I sit in silence while my mom reminisces about the fact he's an alpha, of course he had to be, if not I wanted some explanation on how he pushed my dresser down.
"Well Alpha, this is your mate my beautiful daughter Ariana Merriams" she chuckled lightly as though it was funny
But she was wrong
"She'll be ready to follow you home in like two days"she added, Daphney and I exchanged looks
"Daphney's his mate not me"I said and my mother's face squeezed up so much I was kind of scared
"Oh Daphney?"My mom asked looking at Daphney like she just appeared.
"Take me to your house then"The alpha said threateningly to her, Daphney shrunk In her seat
"Actually Alpha er"she paused looking at him.
"Aiden"he said looking briefly at my mom and back at Daphney.
"Alpha Aiden,Daphney here is clearly overwhelmed with this news, I'd appreciate it if you came back in a week"my mom said standing behind Daphney
"I can't"he stated simply.
"Five days then"my mom said and Aiden got up.
"I'll be back tomorrow to see her parents, I'd appreciate it if sent the message across to them"he said and walked out.
Ughh he's so irritating.
When my mom was positive he has driven away she turned back to us with a forced glare.
"First Aria, why would you help Daphney run away from her mate, second Daphney why would you come here instead of your own house and lastly"she paused to take a deep breathe.
"How dare you go to that after party!!!"My mother yelled.
Gulping hard I thought hard of what to say to appease her right now
"Mom I er"was all I could stutter.
"I am so sorry Mrs Merriam's"Daphney said her head bowed down.
I thought my mother was going to lose her mind and explode but she took a deep breathe and smiled.
I'm really scared right now.
"Daphney dear please go home, Aria would see you there tomorrow, I'm so happy you got your mate"she said walking Daphney to the door.
Once she shut it she turns to me
"Now Aria listen to me very, very well"she said sitting beside me
"Your sister Inana's mate wasn't an Alpha, he was a beta and you know I promised myself that one of my daughters must have an Alpha as a mate, right?"
"Y-yes mother"I stutter
"Good, so now to avoid being punished for what you did, we'll go to a little party after you go support your dearest friend Daphney, maybe you can accompany her to his pack and maybe see his other alpha friends"she said smiling at me.
Is it weird that I preferred when she glared at me than when she's smiling.
"O-okay m-mother"I said nodding.
After that very confusing conversation with my mother I called Mia, she was more than excited for Daphney.
And we both decided to visit her and cheer her up at least
