Chapter Nine

Apprehensively, she was pacing toward his room as there was no other choice. Suddenly, a strong hand pulled her in a dark room and clamped her mouth. It was dark in the room. Her heart beat faster as she thought the same attacker attacked her.

    "Don't shout please. I'm removing my hand. " he slowly whispered in her ear. 

  She nodded instantly to get free from the hold. He removed his hand and switched on the light. 

   "Hacker, what are you doing here? " She smiled happily, " You scared me. "

   " I'm your savior for today. " He smirked. He was a tall man with muscles. He was a handsome boy with light brown hair and brown eyes. 

   " My what? " She got confused. 

   " Okay Okay! I talked to Ana this morning. I'm here to help you. " He smirked. 

   " How did you meet her? What were you doing here? " She asked. 

   " We've only five minutes to get out of this mansion. Come! Don't make any noise. They'll catch us. " He said, holding her hand. 

   She silenced and allowed him to guide her out of the mansion. 

    " It's not the right way to go out. There are guards and cameras." She murmured. 

    " We're going from the back door. Cameras are off. There are no guards at this time." He said slowly. 

    Hacker was also an orphan like her. He was adopted by a Gujrati couple in Mumbai. He always protected her like a brother. He came once a year to meet me.  

     She was getting tense about Ana and Isha. If something happened to them. She couldn't look at herself in the mirror ever. She was hoping. They would make it out of his house. It seemed impossible to run from his claw. If Ana could arrange this. She definitely had a plan for them too. 

     " I can't go with you. I can't be selfish." She whispered. 

   " Stop loading your brain, Rose." He looked back at her. 

    " Ana and Isha? I'm worried about them. Are you sure they'd be fine. I mean I couldn't put them in danger to have my freedom. " She was getting fidget. 

     " They'll be safe." He gave her a quick glance, " How did you meet Liam Rodrigues? " He asked her. 

    " Who is Liam Rodrigues?" She furrowed her brows in confusion. 

    " You're kidding me. Ain't it too early to forget your fiance? " He gave a fake laugh and jutted his chin toward her ring.

   She remembered the Danil words. 

  His name is Liam Rodrigues, she thought.

     She wanted to tell him. ' I don't even know his name.' But she better kept it to herself. 

     He will make fun of me. His smirk was already telling me, she thought. 

    " Night club. " She whispered. 

  " And?" He raised his eyes in question. 

   " And what Hacker. " She frowned with rage.

   " Wow! dear.. it's totally fine. If you don't wanna talk about it. " He laughed. 

   " I'm sorry. You are helping me and I'm. ..." She was disappointed. 

  " Don't apologize. " He smirked. 

   " Where are we going? " She asked. 

   " My house!" He smiled the biggest. 

   " And your parents? " She asked with a smile, remembering how they doted her. 

   " My mother will love to adopt you. I want a sister by the way." He mocked. 

  " Very funny. You already have us. " She slapped him on his shoulder. 

  " Hey! Do I look like I'm kidding? You are hurting me now." He made a hurt face and put his hand on his heart. 

  " Stop mocking! You know you are like a brother to us."

   She closed her eyes and tried to normal her heart beat which was still hammering. She was praying to God to keep her friends safe. What was Hacker doing there? This question puzzled her. She looked at him and started to open her mouth. BUT HE HELD his finger. They were out of his mansion. They reached near a car. 

    " I was working for his man. I recently came back from my vacation and found you trio there. Then Ana enlightened me with everything. " He said, opening the door for her.

    " Is everything written on my face? " She asked, sitting in the car. 

  He got on the driver seat, " We are not related by blood. But you are my little sister. " He smiled. 

   " Do you know L Liam?" She asked. His name made her shiver. 

   " He is a business tycoon and ..." he trailed and looked out of the window as he didn't wanna to say the words next.

   " What's it?" I asked.

   " Mafia.... he rules the Mafia." He completed. 

   Fear shacked her. Her hands started to tremble. She clinched them together firmly to stop it. She glared down at her ring. She was going to marry the Mafia. Now she understood gunshots and today's attack. Her eyes snapped straight. Ana and Isha? Would he kill them? He was possessive for her. She was well aware of it. Would he harm them in frustration or to have her?

    " Stop the car. " She shouted. 

    "What? It's not happening? " He frowned. 

    " He will kill them," She blurted. 

    " He will not." he snorted. 

   " how could you be so sure? You said, he is Mafia." She glared at him. 

   " I was kidding sister about the Mafia." He giggled.

    She silenced for a while," It wasn't funny." she contorted her face. 

   " Didn't mean to upset you. Ana told me everything. So chill! He will not harm them. If he cares for you?" He said. 

    WHat if he didn't. What if he wanted her body more than love and her soul. 

    " No let's go back. He would kill them." She insisted. How could she understand him? She had seen his wrath? 

    " He will not. I have seen him the way he looks at you." He said. 

    " Are you trying to say he um..... And when did you see that? " She asked.

       Because that was simply impossible. He could be cruel, ruthless and dangerous. They could love killing. He wouldn't even hear a love word in his entire life.

    " You are his weakness. " He confided.

    " Why are you talking like this? I can't go with you. Pull over." She was feeling scared from Hacker. Although she knew him from her orphanage days. He was somehow looking to her like a stranger now. She couldn't take the chance to endanger their lives. They were her sisters, friends and her family. She was firmly feeling. It wasn't quite right. Something was definitely wrong.

   " I'm sorry." Hacker said

   " What are you apologizing for?" She furrowed her brows. 

   " You're too smart. That's the reason he chose you to be his queen. " he wickedly smiled. 

  " I'm not smart. I'm not anyone's queen. You're scaring me." She tucked her hair behind her ear. 

   " Believe me little sister. You'll be safe." He assured her. 

  " It's more than what are you showing? " She said. 

  " Actually " he pulled over the car.

  She immediately went for its door and found it locked. 

  " Why is it locked?" she panicked.

  He was doing something with a bottle and a handkerchief. Her guts were yelling to run. He was not the same hacker anymore. 

  " Sorry sister. " He said and put the handkerchief on her mouth.
