Chapter Ten

Liam

          It was a strange feeling which he never had before in his entire life. It took a load off of his chest when he found her safe in his arms. He knew he had feelings for her otherwise he'd never forced her. He didn't give a damn whether she wanted him or not. 

    " We should leave for the airport. " Danil said. 

   " Sir... Sorry to disturb you. " Danny was gasping for air. 

   He apprehended the meaning of it. 

   " You join Kairo and her friends. I'll join you later. " He said in his commanding voice. 

   " Ok! See you then. " Danil strode to leave but halted near the door, " Is everything alright, brother? " he asked, gazing back at him. 

    He nodded and gave him an assuring smile. When he heard the cars pulled away from the house. 

    " What's the matter? " He asked him. 

    " Cameras were off for the full ten minutes. Ma-dam is not in your room. " He said. 

    He felt the fear of losing her again. His fingers curled up into a fist, " Ask everyone. Check the CCTV footage and find who is missing from the security." He ordered. 

     " Yes sir. " Danny said but paused. He was fidgeting and rubbed his forehead turning to his boss again as this wasn't the proper news. 

     " Sir?" Paul came into the room after his nod, " It was a local mob. Who attacked this afternoon. " He said. 

    " Sir! You need to watch this footage." Danny exclaimed, adjusting his eyeglasses. 

    " She would be in the plane with others. We should stop her. " Danny suggested. 

     " No. Call Danil to be alert and triple the security in the plane. I want the whole detail of this man with her." He said.

   " He was working in security, new joining, sir. We must have his whole desire." Paul said.

   " Track his number, location." He said and picked up his car keys. He hurriedly rushed out toward his car. 

    She opened her eyes while lying on the mattress. Cool breeze was hitting her face and shoulder's skin in her sleeveless dress. She swirled her neck. It was a huge window. She could see waves of sea. She was on one of the Goa beaches. She smiled at waves of sea for a second before realization came to her. 

   " You awake, sister. You must be hungry. I've cooked your favourite food cream pasta with red sauce. " Hacker said, pacing in the room with a food tray. He was smiling. 

 His voice confirmed it wasn't her any nightmare, " Why are you doing this? " She snapped angrily. 

   " I hate to do this to you. You are really my little sister. Your fiance overtook my house. Where I grew up with my parents. Both have been dead. That was the last memory of them. I want my house back sister. You have met my parents.They really adored me. How can I let that memory go? " He disappointedly said, his sad face was showing the pain of his heart.  

    She knew he would never lie to her, especially about his parents. He was so glad when they adopted him. He always used to tell her. ' I have a sister. Now I want my parents back. ' While it was impossible to bring his real parents back. 

   " I'm sorry. " She said gloomily 

   " Don't! He must be on his way." He said smilingly, changing the topic. 

   " What's your mean? " She got up from bed and horror clawed her again, " He's M mafia. He'd kill us." He said offhandedly. 

 He raised his eyebrows, " He can kill me, not you sister. If somehow it'd happen. I'll not let this happen to you. I've lost my parents again but I'll not let anyone harm you. You'll always be my little sister, my only family now. " He smirked and crossed his arms over his broad chest. 

    She wanted to argue with him but didn't say anything as she could feel the pain, he was going through after losing his parents. She also didn't see her parents. 

    " He has arrived, sir. " His man told him and was holding a gun in his hand. 

    " Great, let's go sister. " He smiled and reached for her hand. 

    " Who has come? Why is that man holding a gun? " She pulled away her hand from him. 

   " Liam Rodrigues is here, your fiance. AND Guns! They are for my security. " He said, his smile faded from his face. 

   " Ain't your business in fishing? Fishing business doesn't need any security. " She retorted. 

    He flashed an evil smile. It hit her the reality that he might also be part of the dark world. She backed steps from him. 

  " Who are you? " She was bewildered and scared. 

  " I'm gangster, little sister. " He blurted, bending down his face to look in her eyes to confirm it. 

    Her eyes got blurry with tears.

     He told me lies his whole life, she thought. 

  " I'll explain it to you later, sister. Please, don't cry. " He said, brushing his thumb under her eyes. 

  " I'm f fine. " She pulled her face away from his touch. 

  " You ain't and you're scared right now from me." He said and put his hand on her shoulder, " Let's go. I'll not harm you."

    She didn't want to face him as he would be seething and she was scared of him yelling at her. What would he be thinking? She could feel horror, standing in front of him. How could she marry him if she couldn't speak to him normally like a happy normal couple? They went down the stairs. Her heart halted for a while before hammering in her chest loudly. He was sitting on the couch like a king. He was glaring at Hacker with wrath. His eyes were smoldering with rage. He stood up and walked toward them.
