CHAPTER 12

"Water...Water", whispered Mishi. Xian grabbed the jar from his bedside table and filled the glass with water. He gently picked Mishi's head and helped her in drinking water. 

After taking 2-3 sips of water she opened her eyes lightly and the first thing she saw, is the face of Xian Zhang. Fear engulfed over her face as she reminisced the things that occurred between them. She quickly got up and asked, "where am I?"

Xian got up from the bed and said, "sorry for the last night. I indeed did wrong. You are at my house...ah....don't worry about your siblings Mark is with them in the night".

Mishi got up from the bed.

"Where are you going?", asked Xian looking at her.

"Home", said Mishi and pushed him. But as she took one step her head hurts and she stumbled making her fell on the floor. But before she lands on the ground Xian caught her by the waist and she held his arms tight...."doctor told you to take rest. I won't harm you". Saying this Xian puts Mishi on the bed and makes her laid down. 

"Why are you doing this?", asked Mishi with tears in her eyes.

"Hhh....Mishi I'm sorry...I just"

"Last time you forced yourself on me and now this..... Please let me go... I can't work under you. If we continued working together one of us might die....", said Mishi with a broken voice.

"Mishi Sorry I.....I..."

"I'll pay you the amount which I've to give as penalty of I leave the job on my accord. Just let me go...unlike you I've many things to do. I apologize from you for all the things I did to you despite I don't even know what I've done but please let me go....", said Mishi while crying. 

"Okay....you can go...", said Xian. 

"Really?"

"Yes. You don't have to pay that amount.....let's not see each other so that no such mishap occurs like the last night..... After eating breakfast I'll send you home", said Xian with a serious tone.

"It's 6 a.m. I want to eat my breakfast with them.....thank you for letting me go", said Mishi and tried getting up.

"Lay down. I'll come in 10 minutes. Let's last time hear each other out", said Xian.

"Okay", said Mishi without looking at him. Xian walked to his cupboard to take some clothes and then walked inside the washroom. After 10 minutes he came out of the washroom and told Mishi that they can go now. Mishi tried getting up but she's weak. Xian walked to her and carried her in his arms.

"Leave me....", snapped Mishi at Xian.

"I can't....we'll get late if we walk with your speed...". Saying this he gestured her to hold him tight and they walked out of the room. He makes her sit in the car and himself sat on the driver's seat. 

He started the engine and they left for Mishi's house.

"Brother I'll see who's on the door", said Chunhua and happily runs towards the door. She opened it and saw a man holding Mishi in her hands. 

"Sisi", mumbled Chunhua. 

"Kid give way to us....", said Xian.

She nodded and give a side to them. Mark and Chang looked at them. "Where's the room?", asked Xian.

"Sir you can stop here...", said Mishi looking at him. Xian nodded and made her stand on the floor. Chang and Chunhua ran to her and then helped her sitting on the small sofa. 

"What happened?", asked Chang looking at her sister's hands. 

"Oh these.....I fell on the floor and there were broken glasses on the floor which didn't see so....It's small wounds. Look I'm fine now", said Mishi with a gentle smile on her lips. Xian put her things over a table there. Mark looked at him.

"Brother Mark was with us last night...", said Chunhua and smiled.

Mishi looked at Mark and thanked him. "It's fine Mishi...."

"Then we should leave", said Xian looking at Mishi who nodded. 

"Brother let's have a breakfast together...", said Chang looking at Xian.

"Let him go", said Mishi.

"Brother took care of you. It's almost breakfast time so we should eat.....brother Mark and I prepared the breakfast so let's have breakfast", said Chang and walked to the kitchen.

Xian looked around her house and then her eyes fell on Mishi's parents. "Brother I've seen you in the social media", said Chunhua.

"Actually our Chunhua has a crush on Xian", said Mark and put his hands around his shoulders. 

"What??", mumbled Mishi.

"Sisi all girls have crush on him. But I'm lucky that only I got to meet him", said Chunhua and smiled. 

"Your friends brains are needed to be checked then", said Mishi.

"What? Are you saying I'm ugly?", asked Xian.

"It's obvious", murmured Mishi.

"What did you say?", asked Xian.

"Nothing....."

Mark smiled seeing them.

"Let's have beeakfast. I've set the table", said Chang.

Chunhua helped her sister to walk to the dining table. They sat around the table. 

"Sisi I've made light meal for you", said Chang and put a bowl of cerals before her.

"Thanks...", said Mishi and started eating. Xian looked at her but then turned his gaze from her. 

"Chang you should sit. Let me serve you all", said Mark. They started eating while Chunhua only stared at Xian.

"Why are you staring at him?", asked Chang from Chunhua.

"Because I want to", said Chunhua and smiled. Xian passed a smile to her.

"Brother when I grow up please hire me in your company. Please brother", said Chunhua.

Chang smiled and said, "Brother except her hire every other girl. She will only create headaches for you.....one more thing because of her poor grade I don't think she can make into your company". He smiled looking at Chunhua. Mark smiled looking the fights between both of them.

"Hey you idiot...", said Chunhua.

"Don't fight both of you...", snapped Mishi at them.

"Sisi you don't know what she did yesterday. She was talking with one of her friends when the maths teacher saw her and then he threw her out", said Chang and smiled.

"Why don't you focus on your studies?", asked Mishi.

"Sisi I hate maths", said Chunhua sighing.

"But Xian likes only those girls who have strong maths", said Mark.

"Then our Sisi has the best maths, means he likes..."

"Mark is telling lie. I don't like those girls who have strong maths instead I like those who hate maths", said Xian looking at Mishi.

"Brother you don't have to lie", said Chang. 

"Don't you two want to go to school?", asked Mishi.

"We're going", said Chang & got up from the chair.

"Sisi I want to go with Brother Xian for a day", said Chunhua. 

"Chunhua do you want to get scolded?", asked Mishi looking at her in anger.

"Sorry Sisi but....."

"I'll come on this weekend....", said Xian.

"You don't need to", said Mishi glaring at him.

"Then can I go to his company?", asked Chunhua.

"Chang take her to the school", said Mishi and got up from the chair. 

"Mishi I'll drop them to the school....Xian and I", said Mark.

"Really?", asked Chunhua.

"Yes why not.....Let's go...", said Mark and got up from the table. Chang took the plates from the table and put them in wash basin. 

"Let's go kids", said Mark and ran outside along with them. 

"Mishi these medicines you've to take twice a day..... Let's part our ways from here. Once again sorry for the things I did with you", said Xian and walked out from there. 

"Wahhh.....I never get to sit in such a luxurious car", said Chunhua to Xian.

"Thanks brother for taking care of our sister. I mean no one showed such care for her and us too", said Chang to Xian and Mark.

"It's fine.... Mishi is an important part of our company. I looked at her resume and I wondered why didn't she apply for jobs all these years", said Mark while driving.

"Our uncle did that", said Chang.

"What do you mean?", asked Xian.

"Well our parents died in an accident six years ago. Our uncle took signs of Sisi on the papers of company, properties and every thing. She has to work hard for our education. She did apply in many companies but uncle made sure to fire her from every company.... She then worked part times. Initially she had 5 part times in a day. She really did a lot for us but she never got that happiness which she deserves. She even applied for your company for 2 years and now she finally get into your company. Sisi was saying that you won't fire her unlike others did.....", said Chang. 

"Sorry we didn't see your sister's application for 2-years. But I assure you that she won't be treated badly in our company", said Mark. Xian didn't say anything as he was thinking some thing else. 

The car stopped before the school's gate. "Go now little champs", said Mark happily. They thanked them and walked inside the school gate.

"Chang I forgot something", said Chunhua and ran towards the car. She knocked on the window. 

"Yes do you need something?", asked Xian.

"Brother I forgot to take your autograph", said Chunhua and was going to open her bag when Xian stopped her. "I'll come to take you both in the evening.....go now and study well", said Xian. Chunhua smiled and ran to her brother Chang. She held his hand and they walked inside the school gate. 

"So what do you think Xian? Do you think she did that intentionally?", asked Mark looking at Xian.

"I don't know.....Let's go to office", said Xian. Mark started the engine and drove away from there.
