CHAPTER 13

"Mishi it has been long time since I come to your house", said Bai. "But why your hands are...."

"Bai I just fell and some broken glass pieces pierced in my skin", said Mishi.

"Well I'm here because I want to tell you something good", said Bai.

"What?", asked Mishi excitedly.

"Lui Lan has proposed me yesterday for the marriage", said Bai smiling.

"What? Woooo.....congrats Bai", said Mishi and happily hugged her. "I was so shocked....I mean he proposed me there in front of all the businessmen and women there", said Bai while smiling.

"Lui Lan is a good guy..... It's good that he proposed you. I think it has been 6 years you're together so it's good to have a marriage now", said Mishi and smiled. "Tell me when is the wedding?", asked Mishi.

"This Saturday. You've to come...I mean you're my bridesmaid", said Bai. 

"Of course I'm going to come....", said Mishi.

"Lui has sent some gifts for you and little siblings. Please accept it because it's from his side....", said Bai.

"But....Bai...."

"Mishi we both love you and your siblings. Lui really adores them so please take these bags...", said Bai handing her the bags. Mishi thanked her and put them on the table. 

"So today we can have lunch together", said Mishi.

"Yeah I want to eat you but today his parents are coming with him for a lunch with me so....we can go tomorrow", said Bai.

"Yes of course. You're going to marry so of course you should get adjusted with them", said Mishi and smiled. 

"I love you Mishi... Okay I've to go because the restaurant is quite far from here", said Bai.

"Ok....love you too..... Wait I've packed handmade food for you so you've to take that Tiffin with you", said Mishi and went to the kitchen. She brought the tiffin box and handed that to Bai. 

"Your hands has magic Mishi....I mean you make so tasty food. Lui also loved it last time...ok then see you bye and take care and I'll come to take you and your siblings on Saturday", said Bai and walked towards the door.

"Okay....now go else you'll going to be late", said Mishi. Bai walked out of her house waving at her. Mishi closed the door and put the bags inside the room.

After clearing his schedule Xian rested on the couch in his office. He was thinking about the things Chang told him in the morning. 

"I can't fire her..... She has the potential in her so I don't think for my personal grudge against her I should do that....." said Xian in his mind. He got up from the couch, picked his car keys from the table and walked out of his office.

Mishi just finished her lunch and is looking for a job sitting in the sofa of small living room when the door bell rings. She put aside her laptop and walked towards the door to open it up. As soon as she opened it she regretted it because it was Xian. She closed the door but Xian stepped inside the door pushing it. 

"We were clear in the morning that it's our last meet", said Mishi angrily. 

Xian didn't reply and get seated on the sofa. His eyes fell on the laptop and the job site she has opened up. 

"So you're already looking for a job?", asked Xian.

"Yes. I have to do that for survival", said Mishi.

"You don't have to. I can't fire you", said  Xian.

"Why? I told you I will pay off your every single penny", said Mishi angrily.

"How can I believe that? I mean you have no jobs in your hand and I don't think someone will pay you 1000s of dollars job. So I can't take that risk. You will work in my company", said Xian and crossed his legs.

Before she could say anything Xian said, "You can't back off because you've no money at this moment to pay me. So you won't leave the job as my P.A."

"Then assure me that you won't do that thing again with me...", said Mishi.

" I won't", said Xian.

"Okay then I'll do that job...", said Mishi. 

"Rest till this friday then on Saturday...."

"Sorry I can't work on this Saturday", said Mishi crossing her arms. 

"Why?"

"My friend is getting married so I've to go there", said Mishi.

"Who?"

"What do you mean by who? I don't think I should tell that", said Mishi. 

"Okay....I understand. Then from Monday you can continue working", said Xian and get up from the couch. He walked towards her and stopped a cm away...."Mishi I'm sorry", saying this Xian turned himself and walked out of the door. Mishi stood there in disbelief and went till the door to close it.

"What? Really?", asked Juan Mei from Chunhua.

"Yes. Brother Xian is friend with me....", said Chunhua and giggled. Fui Ji said, "how can we believe that? I mean you don't have any picture with him".

"Then don't believe.....", said Chunhua and smiled. Chang and Xu are going to the class when Yin Yin ran to him and stopped in front of him. Chang stepped back.

"Chang is it true that you are friends with Brother Xian Zhang", asked Yin Yin. Jian Mei and Fui Ji also looked at Chang.

"Chunhua come here....", said Chang and walked away. "Chang answer first", shouted Yun yin in the corridor but he was disappeared among many children there. 

"Chunhua why are you telling this thing to every one? He's not a normal person.....it can affect his personal life", said Chang.

"Okay I won't tell....", said Chunhua.

"Focus in your studies..... Let's go break is almost over", said Chang. They both walked towards the class when their homeroom teacher called Chang's name.... Hearing his name he turned back.

"Chang there's a competition on this Friday. So I'm suggesting your name and Xu. If you've any other student in your mind you can give me one more name as it's a 3 member competition. Tell me after school get over", said the teacher and walked away. He nodded and went inside the class.

Since there are still 5 minutes left to start the class he thought to made an announcement of this. 

"So who wanted to be the 3rd member?", asked Chang. Everybody started whispering. 

"Why don't you take your sister?", said a boy from his class.

"Lee Jun don't you know his sister passes her exam with grace marks so I don't think she should go....", said Mingmei who was friends with Chunhua but not anymore after that incident. Everybody started laughing. 

"One is intelligent and other is complete lower", said the other girl and the whole class started laughing. Chang looked at Chunhua who wasn't feeling good hearing this but still laughing.

"Silent....if no one wants to volunteer then I'll pick the student myself", said Chang.

"Please not me", said Mingmei.

"Chunhua will participate with us....Xu is it alright?", asked Chang looking at Xu.

"Fine with me", said Xu. 

"You have picked a wrong one. It might be your first defeat", said Mimgmei. The students started laughing.

"Then why don't you participate? Don't make fun of others when you yourself don't know anything. Every person has potential so it will be wrong to assume a person's ability based on the marks or grades", said Chang. The students get silent. Chang went to his desk and get seated on it. He looked at Chunhua who is sitting beside his desk. 

"Chang don't be sad..... "said Xu parting at his back. After the school got over Chang gave the name to his homeroom teacher and walked out of there with Chunhua. 

"Don't be sad. People try to demoralize some unique persons because they fear that the person may get to a higher place than them", said Chang and put his hand around Chunhua's shoulder. "Don't be sad.....let's go", said Chang and dragged her with him out of the school. Chunhua smiled and they ran towards the gate. They stopped running when they saw a car in front of the car and Xian is standing outside the car with his goggles on. He waved at them. 

"Brother you don't have to come", said Chang. Xian put off his goggles and looked at them.

"Of course I have to....I promised this fan of mine", said Xian.

Chunhua smiled and quickly get into the seat beside driver's. Chang shook his head in disbelief and get into the back seat. Xian drove the car away from the school. 

"So how's the day?", asked Xian.

"It was good...", replied Chang.

"Do you want to eat something?", asked Xian.

"Yes" "no", said Chunhua and Chang at the same time. 

"I think I've to make the wish of my fan true", said Xian and smiled. "So what do you want to eat?", asked Xian.

"I heard that ice cream shop is quite famous...", said Chunhua.

"I get it....", said Xian and turned the car towards the ice cream shop which is famous in Beijing.

"Brother let's go to the normal ice cream shop. I mean where you're taking us is quite expensive shop..."

"You don't have to pay", said Xian cutting Chang's words.

"Brother but...."

"It's fine....don't be shy....After a long time I'm going to eat that so just think you both are accompanying me", said Xian and smiled. 

They reached the shop. Chunhua held Xian's arm and walked inside the shop, Chang followed them. Xian ordered the ice creams for them. 

"Brother I'm going to washroom", said Chunhua and walked towards the washroom.

"Brother do you like my sister?", asked Chang looking at Xian.

"What?", mumbled Xian.

"I mean no one did this for us before that's why  I'm asking", said Chang.

"Kid I don't like her. I mean she as an employee in my company above all she is my PA so don't you think I should take care of PA too as a good boss", said Xian.

"Okay.....", said Chang and started eating the ice cream. After eating Xian dropped them home and drove away from there.
