CHAPTER 13

"Yesterday one of the scholars is out of his room after the dinner", said Baek looking at Yoon Shik.

"Where are his roommates? Please step forward", said Baek.

"Not again", mumbled Lee.

"Waah....it will be fun. Isn't it Lee Eunshi?", asked Baek.

"What?"

"All of you clean the sung from the horse shed", said Baek.

"Teacher but it's not our fault", said Sung.

"Go now and then clean all the bathrooms and 30 rooms", said Baek and walked towards the other scholars.

"Oh this disgusting smell", said Sunwo while closing his nose with a cloth.

"I'm not doing this", said Lee and put the wooden basket on the ground.

"Someone is giving up", said Baek while fanning himself and then walked away.

"Why I have to do this?", mumbled Sung Tae while carrying the dung..."eww"

"Oewwww.... I can't handle", said Sunwo and ran to throw out because he felt nauseated.

"Why didn't you eat in the morning?", asked Yeong.

"I'm not allowed to because of yesterday incident", said Yoon while carrying the wooden basket.

"Why was my sister there?", asked Yoon.

"Ask her yourself", said Yeong.

"You've not shot a single arrow since the noon at the target", said Noh while coming towards Yoon.

"You?", mumbled Yoon.

"I can teach you", said Noh and held his hand. Yoon looked at her...."don't look at me but at the target", said Noh. Yoon turned his attention towards the target.

"Like this....", said Noh while tightening Yoon's grip on the now...."release", commanded Noh. Yoon released the arrow and it hit the target perfectly. Yoon got surprised and happy at the same time. He looked at Noh with happiness so is she when they realised they're standing you close. Yoon backed off and said, "thank you Ms Noh".

"If you win this game then I want you to do something for me", said Noh.

"Why would I do that?", asked Yoon.

"Because I'm your senior", said Noh.

"But Baek....I mean teacher told that you're same age as us or even younger", said Yoon.

"But more experienced then you all.....I'll meet you on the match day", said Noh and walked away when she saw Lee Eunshi. She greeted him....."lady Noh want to have a combat with me", said Lee.

"I would love to but I've some work outside", said Noh and walked away.

"Do you think you will be a match for us today?", asked Wang Soo.

"Who are you? Do we know you?", asked Sunwo while picking his bow.

"I'm not talking to you", said Wang.

"I know you're referring to....", said Sunwo looking at Yoon.

"Why everyone is interested in picking up at you?", asked Sung Tae looking at Yoon.

"Some people can't tolerate a layman reaching to their level", said Yoon and looked at Sung Tae.

"You surely have grown much", said Wang Soo.

"Who are you?", asked Yoon.

"Your senior cousin brother.....your mother has guts to leave the house but it's good now uncle has married someone who's quite better for him.....", said Wang Soo.

Lee Eunshi and others looked at Yoon. 

"I don't know you", said Yoon and walked away.

"Wait.....your anger is still with you. I'm surprised to get into this level...indeed your mother has made someone to fall for her charms else I don't think...." before he could complete his sentence Yoon threw almost a punch to him but Yeong stopped him by holding his hand..."don't,  the competition is going to start. Your hard work will be wasted", said Yeong.

Wang Soo smiled and said, "Where's your sister? She was going to be our servant..... I heard she has grown to a beautiful woman" and smirked.

Yoon couldn't control himself but before he could beat him up Sunwo pull out his dagger and put it on Wang's neck...."it will not take a second for me to make you wince in pain....Wang Soo I know you because your father is the petty servant of my house....I mean the village of which he's head is under my father",  said Sunwo and gave a smile to him.

"Sorry don't hit me", said Wang.

Sunwo released him. Wang walked away from there with his other friends.

"Yoon don't think about that....competition is important", said Sunwo and started fanning himself from the fan.

"First round will be elimination. All will be given 5 chances to make their best shot. Who will unable to do so will be disqualified", announced the organizer with a loud voice.

"Hani is also here....see", said Yeong looking at the small stadium. Hani was cheering for Yoon along with other friends. He smiled seeing her when his eyes fell on Noh Eunho who was also among the audience and was smiling. 

"Bo Ji also here....", mumbled Sunwo.

"Your sister is looking beautiful", said Sung Tae looking at Bo Ji.

"Really....I don't think so", said Sunwo and carried his bow and then the arrow.

"Yobi I can't get defeated", said Lee Eunshi while checking his bow.

"People will then know that you're not ordinary.....", said Yobi.

"Whatever", said Lee and walked away towards the large podium and stood beside Yoon. They both looked at each other. The announcer said, "BEGIN".

The audience was making loud noises...

"Total 50 has qualified for the next round.... Now the candidates will have 3 chances to give their best shot. Qualified will be promoted to last round", said the announcer.

The game was getting interested as strong contenders left. Yoon luckily passed the round and looked at her sister who was shouting for Yoon.

"It's good I'll fight with you....today I'll teach you a good lesson", said Sung Tae looking at Yoon.

"Same goes for me", said Yoon.

"Kim Yoon Shik and Sung Tae please come to the podium", said the announcer and told them to start.

Sung Tae attacked Yoon first and blow a punch at his chest and then pointed his sword towards Yoon. It pierced through his arm lightly. Seeing this Sung Tae smirked and attacked with more force. 

"Oppa...", mumbled Hani.

"Yoon Shik just hit him", shouted Eunho among the crowd. 

Yoon tried to dodge from Sung first so that he can balance himself and then attack him. 

"Indeed you defeated Ms Noh but I'm quite tough", said Sung and hit at Yoon's leg but he dodged it and decisively attacked at Sung Tae's shoulder which made him stumble. Yoon then kicked at his stomach and then threw his sword towards him and jumped in the air with his sword to hit Sung. The loud noises of strikes can be heard throughout the field. Both jumped in air with their pointed swords but in the next second Yoon changed his direction at the ground and make fall Sung Tae. He then pointed his sword at the neck of Sung Tae.....

"This round winner is Kim Yoon Shik", announced the annoucer.

The crowd cheering can be heard with his name...."Yoon Shik..Yoon Shik". He then gave hand to Sung and said, "let's end our bitterness with this fight and be real friends". Sung Tae held his hand and agreed with him.

"I can't hurt my hands by grabbing that sword", said Sunwo.

"What? Then will you step back?", asked Yoon.

"Hm.....my soft hands are more important to me. Moreover I know Yeong is far far better than me in this.....", said Sunwo and walked away..

Yeong easliy defeated his opponent with a first blow and looked at Hani who was giving thumbs up from the crowd. He smiled seeing her and walked towards the tent.

"Lee Eunshi why are hitting me with such a force that it seems you want to kill me",said Chan Sul while defending himself from Lee's attack.

"This is the might of a true swordsman", said Lee and kicked Chan and make him fell on the ground. He pointed his sword at his neck and looked at the queen dowager as if he is showing her his might. The king was smiling looking at Lee. Chan Sul saw that Lee was busy watching something so he threw dust at Lee and his eyes started paining. Chan Sul got the chance and hit him and brought his sword at his neck.

The queen just smirked at Lee. Lee threw his sword and walked away from the podium. 

"What was that?", said Yoon looking at Lee who passed beside him.

"Yeong-aa I always wanted to have a duel with you", said Yoon while holding his sword tight.

"Yoon let's see them how much you've improved in these years", said Yeong. Hani was shouting for her oppa. Yeong easily dodged Yoon's strike and lightly hit him on the chest.....

Yoon stumbled but balanced himself. He tried to get close with Yeong but failed. 

"Yoon Shik his arm", shouted Noh.

Yoon smiled and was going to hit but Yeong dodged and hit Yoon again.

"He's good", said Sung Tae.

"That's why I give up...my hands only got hurt if I tried fighting him", said Sunwo. 

"But Yoon's skills are good", said Sung Tae.

"Not as good as Yeong", said Sunwo and opened his fan.

Yoon was attacking Yeong but every thing was in vein. 

"Let's end this...", said Yeong and held his sword tight and ran towards Yoon and played with his mind and made him fell on the ground....."it's the end", said Yeong pointing his sword at Yoon.

"The winner of today's game is Do Yeong..... He will be honoured by the king himself", said the announcer. Everybody clapped and cheered his name except Hani. Yeong passed a smile to her but she ignored him. She was more concerned about her brother.

"Here", said Yeong giving his hand to Yoon. 

"Means I've to work hard..... You're still the best", said Yoon and smiled.

After the match all left the ground. Yeong was going to leave when someone hit him from the back but he caught the person.

"You?"

"Leave me", said Hani releasing her grip from Yeong.

"Attacking from back isn't good", said Yeong and released her. She attacked him but Yeong dodged the attack and took out his sword. They started fighting.

"Do you think you can beat me? Your brother couldn't then how will you", said Yeong and lightly fought with her.

"Oppa was easy on you....", said Hani and attacked him but he held her tightly and with his other hand make fall her sword.

"Leave me", said Hani while struggling.

"I won't until you promise me not to attack at me from back", said Yeong.

"Okay....promise", said Hani. Yeong released her but she punched at Yeong's stomach and he fell holding one hand of Hani on the ground. 

In the next second their lips were onto each other. They got shocked. Hani immediately got up but slipped and this time her lips touched Yeong's cheek. She started blinking while Yeong looked at her.

"Yeong-aa...Yeong-aa", shouted Sunwo while entering the ground. Hani and Yeong got up quickly and adjusted themselves. 

"What are you.....", murmured Sunwo but stopped seeing Hani.

She walked away from there.

Yeong smiled seeing her walking away. 

"Did I miss something?", asked Sunwo looking at Yeong.

"No....why were you shouting?", asked Yeong.

"Yoon was looking for you..... Let's go", said Sunwo.

"Let's go then", said Yeong and they left the ground.
